A lunatic in the Bronx hacked a woman to death — cutting off one of her hands and slicing her throat — with a machete in a horrific and unprovoked attack, police sources and neighbors said.
Angel Feliz-Volquez, 25, ambushed the 59-year-old victim in the 5th floor hallway of the Mott Haven Houses as she chatted with her mother’s home health care aid, according to sources.
The woman was found just after 4 p.m. lying in a pool of her own blood, the sources said.
Cops nabbed Feliz-Volquez a short time later in his apartment, which is on the same floor.
Neighbors described him as “the mental guy.”
