Targeted Shooting Death in Jamaica Plain, MA

[From article]
“They were people who didn’t like each other who crossed paths,” said police Capt. Alfredo Andres at a meeting with neighborhood residents and police. “They, for lack of better terms, had a vendetta against each other.”
Kenneth Lamour, 18, was shot dead Feb. 11 at 10:33 a.m. while shoveling snow with a work crew through the nonprofit group Roca, which helped troubled youths and former inmates.
Josiah Zachery, 18, was arrested near the scene after firing at a cop and running, police said. He has been arraigned on murder charges for the shooting. Police said they recovered a handgun they say he tossed as he ran, before they found him with a shovel pretending to be working. Yesterday, Donte Henley, 24, from South Boston, was also arrested and charged with murder.
“We had a bloody homicide a stone’s throw away from our houses,” said a resident who asked not to be named, one of a handful of people who attended the meeting. “I’m looking for a little more assurance than it won’t happen again.”
