Bloomberg on Subway Push Deaths

Simple solution to subway push deaths,  besides banning subway tracks is to make trains enter stations going less than 5 miles per hour. (LARRY CELONA, "Video shows suspect fleeing the scene of fatal Queens subway shove," December 28, 2012) Boston MBTA does that. It allows the drivers to stop. It would slow service but then it would also stop the homicides using subway tracks. It is all about priorities. Bloomberg shows his by focusing on death by soft drinks and salt.
