Chronicle of Higher Education Shows Spinelessness

People who have minds filled with propaganda cannot tolerate contrary evidence. Among academics there is no tolerance for criticizing victim groups. Black students have had their genes cleansed of mendacity, greed and sadism. Saying they are incapable of being racist shows that they are better humans than white people. Isn't that what racism is all about. Calling a person a racist is saying "I don't like what you say." It is about censorship not discrimination.

CHE reveals spinelessness, responding to pressure to censor criticism of an elite "victim group." CHE's action is like reprimanding the child who exposed the Emperor's having no clothes. Just because 90 percent of black people support Obama does not make him any less of a liar, a cheat, and abuser of power thwarting constitutional protections. If it was the content of the essay that was offensive all the more it deserves protection. Recall that the First Amendment was written for speech that you hate. The CHE responded to intolerant beneficiaries of special privileges which others do not enjoy. Misguided policies of academics diminish opportunities for speech. This follows the censorship of a colleague by the Harvard University faculty because they disagreed with what he wrote in India. CHE shows their support for limiting speech because some persons' feelings may be hurt. Shameful.
