US Officials Corrupt Courts Using Loathsome Witnesses

US officials use loathsome FBI informants in the Courts. DiLeonardo decided to cooperate only after he was arrested. One Boston FBI informant lied under oath to frame four white men (Joe Salvati, Peter Limone, Henry Tameleo, Louis Greco) for a murder they did not commit. Prosecutors in longest US Court trial in history employed violent criminals as witnesses where all defendants were acquitted. Lead defense attorney Michael Critchley summed it up during the trial. "We know who protects us from the criminals, but who protects us from the informants?" ("The Boys From New Jersey," Robert Rudolph, William Morris, New York, 1992).

[From article]
"When he was busted in 2002, DiLeonardo was charged only in a failed murder plot and a construction-industry extortion scheme.
But after deciding to leave “the life” four months later, he spilled his guts -- detailing a life of crime that included two murders, weapons possession, securities and wire fraud, loan-sharking, bookmaking and money laundering.
He also admitted his role in setting up the 1992 shooting of radio host Curtis Sliwa for bad-mouthing the late Gambino boss “Dapper Don” John Gotti."
