Improper Asbestos Removal in Cambridge

A few months ago asbestos was removed from the flooring of a Harvard-owned building in Cambridge. Harvard did not tell the tenants that they were removing it during renovations. On one day the workers in a hall were working with no protection for tenants. I complained to the Cambridge Health Department, the state EPA and the US EPA. City sent inspectors who left their cards in my mail box, but I did not speak with either of them. The state said it sent an official but I never heard any more. I do not know what company did the work.

Riley uses the phrase "there is no evidence that her company's projects pose health risks to the public today." That is not reassuring. That does not mean there was or is none. It is the phrase used by PR flacks and lawyers.

Also the phrase "there are safeguards to prevent it from being a major release,"
What about a minor release? What are the standards for harm?

What is the complete history of their work sites and what are the requirements for occupied multiple residences?
