History of Mental Illness Causes Violence?

Scesny’s lawyer said Scesny was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia--the catch-all illness. The lawyer added, he was previously hospitalized and was taking medication. Under what exception did the lawyer reveal medical records violating HIPAA laws and the MA state privacy statute? Why was this an issue for the arraignment? Useful idiot journalists persuaded readers, contrary to reason, that mental illness causes violence; and that medications prevent violence. But even the drug-company-controlled FDA requires a warning on drugs that they CAUSE violent thoughts. Readers KNOW that stopping taking medications causes violence. Gasp! Why start taking drugs if they cause violence when stopped? Readers sound like drug company lobbyists promoting more business. Where is evidence that mental illness causes violence? Where is evidence that mental illness has a pathology? Mental illnesses are created by consensus, not science. Psychiatry is personal opinion masquerading as science. Journalists keep people fooled. What happened to skepticism of these alleged information providers? Why do journalists believe what psychiatrists say?
