discrimination in NYC. If a black person, a homosexual, a Muslim or an
illegal alien was denied entry to a shop and complained, he or she
would not need to call a lawyer. Journalists and politicians would be
all over the store keeper. But disabilities do not merit the same
outrage. It shows how misguided the idea of discrimination is in the
minds of New Yorkers, but elsewhere as well. The same reaction appears
wherever a person with a disability sues stores for denying access.
Then there are the millionaire celebrities who abuse the disability
laws claiming their recreational drug addictions are disabilities, in
order to mitigate their criminal liability.
