Harvard Blogger Ignores First Amendment Violation

It is curious to focus on the state prohibiting a police sergeant from speaking at a legal ceremony. Do all academics (which conformist Harvard students obey) oppose First Amendment rights? Why no concern about abuse of power by the President, and the MA Governor to benefit their friend Professor Gates? Why no concern about abuse of power by the Cambridge Mayor to  have the charges dismissed? And what about the District Attorney who abdicated his power allowing a private attorney and the city attorney to negotiate dismissing the charges. The arrest was the most famous disorderly conduct arrest in the history of the world. Isn't that an issue for journalists who have a specific right guaranteed by the First Amendment?
