Army Officer Parent Denied Entry to Public School Wearing Uniform

A U.S. Army officer from Rochester, Michigan, was denied entry into his daughter’s high school by four members of its security staff, told that his uniform might “offend” some students.
“Before he was allowed in, the security guard stopped him and said sorry you’re not allowed in the school. Security told him men and women in uniform weren’t allowed because it may offend another student,” Lt. Col. Sherwood Baker’s wife, Rachel, told a local Fox affiliate.
Col. Baker was was on his way to see his daughter’s counselor regarding her class schedule when the incident occurred.

The mayor of a city in Massachusetts has claimed that some illegal immigrants who have entered from Guatemala and are enrolled in public schools have greying hair and more wrinkles than her.
Judith Flanagan Kennedy, mayor of Lynn, said that many attending the schools are not children, but federal government will not allow officials to verify their ages.
One of the students was revealed to be 35 years old, while others are clearly much older than 21 - the oldest at which you are entitled to attend public schools in Massachusetts - Ms Kennedy said.
'One of the things that we did notice when we were processing some of these students coming in was that they were adults,' she told CNS News at a press conference.

Iraq War Arrives in U.S., $100 million Oil Tanker Missing

A tanker loaded with $100 million of crude oil that has been at the center of a dispute over Iraq's oil billions vanished off the coast of Texas on Thursday.
The Kurdish tanker disappeared from Coast Guard radar screens following a month of legal wrangling over whether it can offload its cargo in the U.S.
As the disintegration of Iraq amid mounting violence continues, the semi-autonomous regime in Kurdistan – in the north of Iraq – is trying to cash in on Iraq's oil reserves and export its own crude.

The vessel's disappearance is now thought to be the latest development in a high-stakes dispute between Baghdad and the Kurds over the right to export oil.
Several other tankers transporting disputed oil from Iran or Kurdistan have switched off their transponders before unloading their cargo - making their movements extremely difficult to track.
A Coast Guard official told MailOnline today that the vessel might have turned off its beacon in the Gulf of Mexico, which it is not supposed to do.
The official also said it was possible the ship had traveled outside the range of the U.S. Coastguard antennas which would account for it vanishing from the AIS ship-tracking system.

Pegues, 45, who retired in April 2013 after more than 20 years on the force, is untouchable because the statute of limitations has expired on his crimes, most of which he confessed to committing in his teens and 20s in Queens.

In his most shocking revelation, Pegues — who is married with children, including a daughter in the NYPD — bragged that he was a close pal of David McClary, the coldblooded triggerman who fired five shots into the head of rookie Officer Edward Byrne as the cop sat in a patrol car guarding the home of a witness in 1988.
He had advice for aspiring criminals: “The biggest asset I learned from the streets is don’t trust nobody. Everybody’s a threat. I don’t trust my mother,’’ he said in the interview. “You can’t trust nobody.”

An advocacy group for the blind is suing the app-based ride-sharing service Uber, alleging the company discriminates against passengers with service dogs.
The federal civil rights suit filed Tuesday by the California chapter of the National Federation of the Blind cites instances in California and elsewhere when blind Uber customers summoned a car only to be refused a ride once the driver saw them with a service dog. In some cases, drivers allegedly abandoned blind travelers in extreme weather and charged cancellation fees after denying them rides, the complaint said.

On another occasion a passenger was trying to explain that his dog was not a pet but a service animal when the driver allegedly cursed at him and accelerated abruptly, nearly injuring the dog and striking the passenger’s friend, who is also blind, with an open car door.
The group said it’s aware of more than 30 times blind customers were denied rides in violation of the American with Disabilities Act and California state law.

According to Mark Pallansch, director of the Division of Viral Diseases at the CDC, similar cases to the ones in Colorado have been cropping up across the U.S. At least 10 states -- Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Georgia -- have reported suspected outbreaks of human enterovirus 68 and requested CDC support.
"Viruses don't tend to respect borders," ABC News Chief Health and Medical Editor Dr. Richard Besser said. "It is only 10 states now, but it's going to be across the country. So if your state doesn't have it now, watch for it, it's coming."

The executive director of the Islamic Society of Boston is denying media reports that a Stoughton man suspected of helping to run social media for ISIS worshipped at the society’s Cambridge mosque.
“To our knowledge Ahmad Abousamra never came to our mosque and has absolutely no connection,” Yusufi Vali, the executive director of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, told the Herald yesterday.

Some media outlets, including the New York Post and CNN, reported yesterday that Abousamra had worshipped at the same Cambridge mosque as other extremists, including accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev; Abdurahman Alamoudi — the mosque’s founder — who was sentenced for conspiring with Libya and plotting to assassinate a Saudi prince; Aafia Siddiqui, now in prison for planning a chemical weapons attack in New York; and Tarek Mehanna, who’s serving time for conspiring to shoot up a mall with automatic weapons.
In a statement, the Islamic Society called the Post report “a sensationalist article about our mosque full of many half-truths and inaccuracies” and claimed it was never contacted for comment. But it admitted others did attend.
“As far as we know, some of the people mentioned by the NYPost may have prayed at the Cambridge mosque at one time or another, just as they most likely shopped at grocery stores in Central Square, bought coffee from the nearby Dunkin’ Donuts and withdrew and deposited funds at local banks, activities they surely engaged in many more times than they prayed at the mosque,” the statement reads.
It also said the mosque doesn’t exclude anyone and doesn’t check IDs, and it “unequivocally condemns ISIS.”

No one in Cambridge was watching, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the young man killed in a shootout with Massachusetts police in nearby Watertown MA. No police, no FBI, no crime family associates, no Harvard University campus police or their building superintendents. The priorities for those organizations is to focus on a 70-year-old white male citizen who was used by the FBI to fight organized crime for 15 years. They did not pay him. That was after government psychiatrists drugged him for 80 consecutive days contrary to law. He was not under the care of any psychiatrist, or psychologist. There was no court order to permit such poisoning as per the state criminal statute. He never volunteered for any medical research project as a human subject. During subsequent years the FBI coordinated a relentless character assassination campaign, harassment and 24/7 surveillance, which continues today. None of the individuals mentioned in the below article were subjected too any intense criminal abuses of power, even with their links too terror groups. It explains why there is widespread dissatisfaction with politicians and journalists. It also raises questions about the lack of questions for local and state officials who waste taxpayer funds harassing harmless citizens.

Her major opponent appears to be ex-City Councilor Felix Arroyo Sr., who returned from his retirement in Venezuela when he heard the hack dog whistle informing him of a six-figure sinecure. On the council, Felix was known as “No-Show,” so he is obviously overqualified to be the next register. According to this updated U.S. law, colleges which receive U.S. taxpayer funds must "hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17 of such year for the students served by the educational institution." Will try to learn what institutions actually comply with this law. It is unknown if there are any penalties for non compliance. May be like the flag display laws which have no penalty for violations.

The female refugees were seeking medical aid and water from the African Union bases in the capital Mogadishu when they were attacked, members of Human Rights Watch told the BBC.
The troops "misused" their power over the women. One Muslim girl, 15, went to an AU base of Burundian soldiers to collect medicine for her sick mother when she was assaulted.

In 2013, she was released without bail in South Boston in connection with a three-year-old counterfeiting case. Prosecutors said she obstructed their investigation. They charged her with willfully lying to police in 2010.
She skipped bail in 2011. Upon turning herself in last year after the Boston bombing, she told the court she was indigent, pregnant and a single mother with one other child. The case was dismissed.
She has bounced between shelters and shabby apartments shared with sister Bella.
Bella, 25, is a high school dropout and also a single mother. She arrived in the U.S. with jihadi brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan and sister Ailina in 2003. The family received a plethora of immigration and welfare benefits.
In December 2012, she was arrested and charged with marijuana possession and distribution. Both of her brothers were also tied to illegal drug activity.

Mother Zubeidat, who radicalized eldest son Tamerlan in Islam, fled the country after being charged with shoplifting from a Lord and Taylor department store in Natick, Mass., in June 2011.
There is still an outstanding bench warrant for her arrest. She has continued to badmouth America from the comfort of her home in Russia, despite accepting years of tax-subsidized housing vouchers and other entitlements.

The incident Hoffman referred to occurred late Saturday afternoon in Lansingburgh where two officers responded to a domestic complaint involving a white woman and a black woman. The white woman fled, leaving police talking to the other woman, Hoffman said.
At that time, a crowd including Robertson, gathered and were yelling at, spitting on and recording the officers with cell phones, Hoffman said.

Details have begun to emerge about the man arrested for the murder of a great grandmother beheaded in her back garden.
He was named locally as Nicholas Salvadore, a 25-year-old would-be cage fighter who is believed to be a Muslim convert, who had been living a few doors from 82-year-old Palmira Silva.
Salvadore was under arrest and under armed guard in hospital today after the events in a street in north London yesterday. Detectives say they have ruled out terrorism as a motive.
Italian-born Mrs Silva, who owned a local café in Edmonton with her son Tony for more than 30 years, was found dead in the back garden of her home in Nightingale Road yesterday. Neighbours said a man dressed in black had decapitated cats with a foot-long machete-like blade and smashed the window of a car before running through rear gardens banging on doors and windows.

A man has been arrested in London after a woman was found beheaded in a garden near a home.
There is no suggestion at this time that the killing had any terrorist motive, Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin told Fox News.
London Metro Police said they were called to the scene Thursday to respond to “reports of a man armed with a knife.”
Authorities said upon arrival to the home, they discovered a woman collapsed in a garden area. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested a 25-year-old man near the scene of the incident on suspicion of murder. One officer was injured during the course of the arrest, police told Fox News.

Very little had been heard about Afghan Sikhs until 35 were found at Tilbury docks nearly three weeks ago. Those who were found alive in the shipping container are now claiming asylum so they can join relatives and friends already in Southall. The temple has been helping them with donations of food and clothing.

The 45 UN peacekeepers from Fiji who were abducted by Al Qaeda-linked Al-Nusra Front rebel forces on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights last Wednesday are to "stand trial" under sharia (Islamic law), according to a Britain-based monitoring group.
Rami Abdul Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights,said that the commander of Al-Nusra Front has declared that the 45 peacekeepers will be tried under "divine law," according to Asharq Al-Aswat as cited by Yedioth Aharonoth.
It was revealed on Monday that the rebels issued three demands for the release of the peacekeepers: to be taken off the UN terrorist list, delivery of humanitarian aid to parts of the Syrian capital Damascus, and compensation for three of its fighters it says were killed in a shootout with UN officers.
In response, the 15 members of the UN Security Council on Wednesday demanded the "immediate and unconditional release" of the Fijians, denouncing their abduction "in the strongest terms."

Cambridge Neighbors Lament Police Harassing Young Black Men

One of many articles about discrimination against black Americans. The police director of communications cites statistics. But he fails to mention that young black men commit most of the crime. That too is a statistic. Omitted is how police and the FBI target persons with disabilities. But seldom is there any recognition of that abuse of power. Unlike when police abuse black people where there is substantial media coverage, abuse of persons with disabilities seldom gets recognition by journalists who share the view of the need to abuse disabled persons. Police target young black men because of statistics. But persons with disabilities seldom commit crimes. There is no rational reason to harass disabled persons. 

One person laments being targeted in his poor neighborhood. But it is worse in wealthy neighborhoods when police see young black men there.

One recruitment method used by the Cubans is to appeal to American leftists’ ideology. “For instance, someone who is allied with communist or leftist ideology may assist the [Cuban intelligence service] because of his/her personal beliefs,” the FBI report, dated Sept. 2, said.
Others are offered lucrative business deals in Cuba in a future post-U.S. embargo environment, and are treated to extravagant, all-expense paid visits to the island.
Coercive tactics used by the Cubans include exploiting personal weaknesses and sexual entrapment, usually during visits to Cuba.

Additionally, Cuban intelligence seeks to plant disinformation or propaganda through its influence agents, and can task recruits to actively disseminate the data. Once recruited, many of the agents are directed to entering fields that will provide greater information access in the future, mainly within the U.S. government and intelligence community.
The Cubans do not limit recruitments to “clandestine agents,” the report said. Other people who do not have access to secrets are co-opted as spies because of their political position or political views that can be exploited for supporting Cuban goals, either as open supporters or unwitting dupes.

The targeting of American spies takes place at schools, colleges, universities, and research institutes. “Cuban intelligence services are known to actively target the U.S. academic world for the purposes of recruiting agents, in order to both obtain useful information and conduct influence activities,” the FBI said.
The academic world, because of its openness and need for networking, “offers a rich array of targets attractive to foreign intelligence services,” the report said, noting that U.S. government institutions draw on academia for personnel, both for entry level staffing and for consultation from established experts.

A 20-year-old woman was so distracted checking Facebook on her cell phone that she drove into the back of another vehicle on a North Dakota highway and killed an 89-year-old great-grandmother, prosecutors say.
Abby Sletten was charged with negligent homicide on Wednesday after the May 27 crash in which Phyllis Gordon, who had eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, was killed.
A search of Sletten’s cellphone by police ‘determined that [she] was viewing pictures on her Facebook application… at the time of the crash,’ the criminal complaint read.

Construction workers, management companies and contractors harass an entire Cambridge MA neighborhood for three years during the ongoing $500 million renovation of the Harvard University Art Museum. City officials acquiesce in this ongoing abuse because Harvard officials deceive politicians saying construction has ended. It is a part of construction projects in urban areas. The strong harasses the weak. It could be worse.

Saint Warren Wants To Be MA Attorney General

According to this love letter from a Cambridge politician, attorney, politician and union leader, Warren Tolman may be a saint. Cambridge City Councilor Benzan reveals that Tolman, "cares dearly about the community he served." Benzan adds, "Warren is the only candidate who won’t wait to take on the NRA and will use the powers of the Attorney General’s Office to mandate smart gun technology on all new guns sold in Massachusetts."

John Lott's book, More Guns, Less Crime, establishes the fact that a legally armed population reduces violent crime. Tolman wants to reduce availability of guns to citizens. How is that "caring dearly" for the community? In one of Tolman's TV ads he stands in front of a Planned Parenthood clinic and says "This is where two abortion providers were killed." And his role in the killings was what? 

Mr. Tolman has a long term presence in Massachusetts politics. He even met me at Cambridge's cable access TV station. He appeals to the majority coalition of interest groups in Massachusetts. Like other politicians he is described as "caring dearly" for the community. Are there any candidates who don't? He probably supports education too. Gasp!

In the second article below, long term Nuclear War and Peace Commissioner for the City of Cambridge writes that the city council should not speak out on public matters. She suggests they keep their opinions to city council meetings. Why does this principle not apply to endorsements of candidates by city councilors as in the first article? No one questions her wildly successful performance as Nuclear War Commissioner. No one dropped a nuclear weapon on Cambridge during her 25 year tenure.

A Canton druggist arrested yesterday at Logan Airport while trying to board a flight to Hong Kong with his family is just part of a large-scale criminal probe into a Massachusetts compounding pharmacy responsible for a deadly nationwide meningitis outbreak, according to prosecutors.
Glenn Adam Chin, 46, was ordered held in home confinement with an unsecured $50,000 bond by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jennifer Boal yesterday after a brief hearing in Boston.
Chin was in charge of a sterile clean room at the New England Compounding Center — the Framingham-based company that is being investigated after 64 people who used tainted steroids produced by the company died. Authorities said Chin didn’t sterilize or test equipment and willfully hid the unsafe practices.

Prosecutors said Chin and others are the focus of the investigation, and Chin is the first person to be charged in the inquiry.
