White House Spending Other People's Money Society, Gives About $20,000 of Taxpayer Money to Each Asylum Seeker and Refugee

[From article]
Federal taxpayers are on the hook for nearly $20,000 just to settle each refugee and asylum seeker, who are then immediately eligible for cash welfare, food stamps, housing and medical aid, according to anew report on the "refugee industry."
The report provided federal budget figures showing that the government spends $19,884 on each refugee the U.S. takes in.
[. . .]

The report from the Negative Population Growth Inc. said that the U.S. is currently accepting about 95,000 refugees and asylees. That is in addition to the over 500,000 legal and illegal immigrants coming to the U.S.
It focused on the industry created to accept the $1.8 billion in federal support to help refugees settle and sign up for further cash awards from Uncle Sam. The refugee agencies get a small portion, or about $1,875 per refugee they help. The rest goes to the United Nations, which helps to determine eligible refugees, and state agencies.
The State Department spends about $1.28 billion, and Health and Human Services another $609 million.

From the report:
Two federal agencies sustain the refugee industry:
The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), in the State Department, supports a major share of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' budget. In FY2014 this support came to $1.28 billion, making the U.S. by far the largest donor to the UNHCR. Some of this money is supposedly used to expand the capacity of countries outside the U.S. to absorb refugees – potentially reducing the share of refugees coming to the U.S. Despite this, more refugees come to the U.S. than to the rest of the world combined: 67% of UNHCR-referred refugees settled in the U.S. in 2014.
[. . .]
Once settled, the refugees are eligible for further federal support and most take it, said the report.
— 47 percent of refugee households received cash assistance.
— 74 percent of refugees were on food stamps.
— 56 percent are on Medicaid.— 22 percent receiving housing assistance.

National Survival Requires Restricting Migrants To Genuine Victims of Persecution

[From article]
Everyone recognizes the need for humanitarian assistance to a reasonable degree for those trying to escape from the horrors of the brutality of the war in Syria and the barbarous Islamist terrorism.
While recognizing the moral problem involved, the countries of Europe are confronted with the pragmatic problem of responding in the context of 4.6 million Middle East refugees seeking asylum and 13.5 million people needing assistance inside Syria.
[. . .]
There are three factors involved. The first is the unwelcome straightforward issue of the number of would-be migrants, genuine refugees, from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somali, and Eritrea, who can realistically be accepted by European countries and, to a lesser extent, by the United States. A second is whether those migrants, mostly Muslim, can be satisfactorily integrated into Western democratic societies. Already in 2015 more than 1 million people came to Europe by sea, and another 34,000 by land. A third problem is the fear that some of them may be Islamists or jihadists prepared to cause harm, rather than genuine refugees.
[. . .]
the President of Finland Sauli Niinisto said that migration into European by people, almost all Muslims, was a serious threat to Western values, culture, and identity. It is now clear that a considerable number of those seeking asylum are not genuine refugees fleeing war.
[. . .]

The West should try to some extent to help those refugees who are in distress or who are being persecuted but not those people who are not really in need.
[. . .]
after peace talks in Geneva on Syria had failed and been suspended, the London Conference agreed to raise more than $10 billion,
[. . .]
thirty governors have declared their states would not accept any of the 10,000 Syrians that President Barack Obama had suggested could enter the country, while some of the presidential candidates have suggested admitting only Christian Syrians.
The debate is even more heated among the European countries,
[. . .]
One is that it is simply not feasible for European societies now encountering economic difficulties, to manage to incorporate a large influx of foreigners that would be a burden on resources. The other is the reasonable expectation that the nature of their society would be changed for the worse.
[. . .]
Germany, which has taken disproportionate numbers, was to take 17,000, and France 12,000, but the UK opted out of this quota proposal.
[. . .]
Instead it built walls around the entrance of the Channel Tunnel to prevent migrants camped in Calais from entering it to get to Britain.
One fear has been that refugee camps in European countries may become breeding grounds for jihadists. That has come true [. . .] in Austria [where] young people have apparently become radicalized because of immigration difficulties and their unwillingness to become integrated into Austrian society.
Austria, with a population of 9 million, received 90,000 asylum claims, but many of the claims were by economic, not political, migrants. The Austrian government deported 12,500, and argued that the European Union should stop giving aid to those Middle East countries that refuse to take back nationals whose asylum claims were rejected.
All the European countries recognize that the influx of migrants has caused difficulties in their social, economic, and political systems.
[. . .]

Politically, many of the countries have witnessed the rise of far right and nationalist political parties who call for limits on immigration, especially by those of Muslim culture and religion, who they argue are difficult to integrate into the existing system or even worse may be hostile to it as has been shown by the Islamist violence in Malmo, Sweden.
[. . .]
The [parties] have changed the landscape in European politics.
[. . .]
two factors are relevant. It is not racist to suggest that for practical reasons reasonable limits be put on those attempting to immigrate.
[. . .]
the native population of Europe is aging and declining.
[. . .]
The question is not one of discrimination, but of real differences: educational levels, cultural behavior, religious, and political views.
The Finnish president Niinisto on February 3, 2016 asked the question, “We have to ask ourselves whether we aim to protect European values and people …or inflexibly stick to the letter of our international obligation with no regard for the consequences.” If Western democracies are to survive the answer is obvious.

Moroccan Children Seek Asylum in Sweden. Reject Housing For Train Station and Crime, Attacking Women

Issues: More than 500 Moroccan children have applied for asylum in Sweden without a parent or guardian since 2012, and one in five have since run away from housing and authorities (stock image)

Is Morocco targeting its children, who need protection from the Moroccan government?

[From article]
Swedish police warns that Stockholm's main train station has become unsafe after being ‘taken over’ by dozens of Moroccan street children.
The all-male migrant teen gangs are spreading terror in the centre of the Swedish capital, stealing, groping girls and assaulting security guards, according to Stockholm police.
Members of the gangs, some as young as nine, roam central Stockholm day and night, refusing help provided by the Swedish authorities.
[. . .]
Sweden has seen a dramatic increase in the number of Moroccan under-18s who apply for asylum without a parent or guardian in the past four years, with many later running away from the housing provided to live on the streets in the capital.
Stockholm police estimate that at least 200 Moroccan street children move in the area around the main train station in the centre of the capital, sleeping rough, and living off criminal activity.
[. . .]
'These guys are a huge problem for us. They steal stuff everywhere and assault security guards at the central station,' one police officer told SVT.
'They grope girls between their legs, and slap them in the face when they protest. All police officers are aware of this.
'I would never let my children go to the central station. No officer would.'

Austrian Teen Raped By Afghan Migrant

The alleged attacker is also believed to have been carrying forged money and marijuana.

[From article]
The 18-year-old is believed to have been sharing a drink with the 21-year-old asylum seeker in he early hours of the morning in Prater Park – a popular destination in Vienna, Austria.
But the friendly exchange between the two strangers then allegedly took a dark turn.
Park security staff, who heard the teenager’s screams for help, rushed to her aid, investigators said.
In a police report, the victim said: “We got talking and decided to buy some alcohol to drink at the Prater park. "We then sat down on the main avenue through the park on a bench."
The man then became violent, attacking the woman from behind, and raped her on the park bench, according to Breitbart.
The alleged attacker is being held before trial. He is also reported to have been carrying forged money and marijuana at the time of the incident.
It comes as a surge of violent and sexual crime at the hands of migrants in Central Europe has caused concern amongst the international community.
German media was accused of covering up the wave of brutal alleged sexual assaults on women by a marauding gang of up to 1,000 migrant men in Cologne, Hamburg and Stuttgart on New Years Eve.
A recent opinion poll revealed that following the slew of alleged attacks almost half of Germans fear refugees.
Meanwhile alleged violent rapes and sex crimes at the hands of migrant assailants were also reported in Zurich and Paris on the same night.

White House Has Remarkable Immigration Policy

[From article]
[White House] directive that the U.S. admit 10,000 Syrian refugees as a humanitarian measure has many hallmarks of his governing style: it lacks a proper legal basis; it will harm rather than help its purported beneficiaries; it will undermine important American interests; and it is designed to signal virtue rather than accomplish anything.
As to the legal basis of the directive, U.S. immigration law is specific. To enter the U.S. as a refugee, one must have a “well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.” The program is not a free-floating humanitarian enterprise.
[. . .]
Whatever one thinks of overall U.S. immigration policy, throwing open the doors to the dispossessed to this extent and in preference to all others desirous of coming here is not going to happen, and should not.
[. . .]

As Prof. Michael McConnell observes, applying this “persecution test” would lead us to favor “Christians who are being singled out for religious persecution…. So also Yazidis, Mandaeans, and a few other smaller groups.” At present, only two percent of the Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. are Christian.
McConnell also says that there are “credible reports” that Christians in the refugee camps are terrorized and driven out, which is why they are not in the pool from which the UN draws the candidates for admission to the U.S.. So it should be noted that, under the immigration statute, no person who participated in “the persecution of any person on the basis of race, religion, nationality…social group or political opinion” is eligible for refugee status.
[. . .]
the incentives for anyone to put much faith in U.S. promises is small. If we want help in the future, we must be able to promise individuals that they will be protected.
[. . .]
The situation in the nations closest to Syria -- Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon -- is appalling, as almost 10 million displaced Syrians are maintained in camps, where they will remain indefinitely.
[. . .]
Resettling a refugee in the U.S. costs about $13,000 annually,
[. . .]
Studies found that 30 percent of displaced Syrians oppose efforts to degrade ISIL, a number consistent with the views of other Middle East populations. So almost a third of the refugees let it will be ISIS sympathizers, assuming that no one would be foolish enough to disqualify him/herself by admitting this during the vetting process.

Opposing Migrants From Middle East Makes Sense

[From article]
The United States is the most generous nation in the world, and we have taken many refugees from foreign lands. Europe has not offered to take refugees from Central America, so why are some politicians here insisting that we take many thousands of refugees from the Middle East?
While refugee crises are tragic, crimes committed by transplanted peoples against unwarned, unprotected victims in our own country are even more tragic. Politicians demanding that American neighborhoods accept thousands of refugees, without proper screening or any indication by the migrants that they genuinely want to assimilate into our culture, should be rejected.
Americans are horrified by images of tens of thousands of people, mostly young unattached Muslim men from the Middle East and Africa, crossing unguarded borders into Europe. The news media often describe these people sympathetically as refugees from the civil war in Syria, but many could be migrants seeking a more comfortable life in a rich society with a cradle-to-grave welfare state.
The scene is eerily reminiscent of the tens of thousands of people from Central America who crossed into the United States last summer. Often described sympathetically as unaccompanied minors fleeing gang violence, most of those Central American arrivals were able-bodied, tough young men who left their families in search of better economic opportunities.
Wealthy European nations did not offer to help out by accepting thousands of migrants from Central America. We did not expect that of them, and they should not expect it of us now.
The Muslim migrants follow a route through Turkey, Macedonia and Serbia into Hungary, the European country closest to the Middle East, and from Hungary they can travel throughout 26 European nations. That route may soon close when Hungary completes the razor-wire fence it is building along its entire 108-mile border with Serbia.
[. . .]

The idea of creating nations without borders, allowing the free movement of people inside a common perimeter, was pushed by President George W. Bush when he met with Mexico's president and Canada's prime minister in Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005. Soon after that first summit of "the three amigos," the Council on Foreign Relations published "Toward a North American Community," which called for a "seamless market" with "a more open border for the movement of goods and people."
[. . .]
Stark financial problems also stand against welcoming so many strangers into our country. More than 90 percent of recent refugees from the Middle East are on welfare, according to official statistics published by the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
Our welfare system is already strained by the Central American migrants who entered our country illegally and never went home. There are a potential six billion people in the world who would like to partake in the American welfare system if given the opportunity, but we cannot afford to foot the bill for everyone in the world who does not have a job.

Holland Questions Accepting Middle East Refugees

Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders attends a joint news conference at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, June 16, 2015.
REUTERS/YVES HERMAN

[From article]
Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders called the wave of refugees pushing into Europe an "Islamic invasion", during a parliamentary debate on Thursday that exposed deep divisions over how the Netherlands should respond to the crisis.
[. . .]
Wilders, who is outside the government but whose party is the most popular in opinion polls, called the wave of refugees arriving on the EU's Mediterranean shores and traveling north "an Islamic invasion".
"Masses of young men in their twenties with beards singing Allahu Akbar across Europe. It's an invasion that threatens our prosperity, our security, our culture and identity," he said.
[. . .]
The idea that such conditions could be created for millions of refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey was dismissed by Alexander Pechtold, a member of centrist opposition party Democrats 66, as "an illusion".
Rutte's fragile coalition government nearly split in April over asylum policy. The government plans to toughen its stance by cutting off food and shelter after a few weeks for those whose claims for refugee status are turned down.
Roughly 54 percent of Dutch voters are opposed to letting into the country more than the roughly 2,000 refugees previously agreed, a poll showed last week. Under the latest proposals that figure is seen rising to more than 9,000.

Resettlement, Asylum Claims Admit Criminals And Terrorists Assisting Destruction of US

[From article]
Hatched by the U.N. and the American Left, the resettlement agenda is dedicated to erasing our culture, traditions and laws, and creating a compliant, welfare-dependent multicultural society with no understanding of America’s constitutional framework and no interest in assimilation.
[. . .]
refugee resettlement costs are currently running at well over $10 billion per year.
But this is not the worst of it. The vast array of organizations feeding on government grants for the refugee program are aggressively promoting a campaign to soften up American communities to help “welcome” refugees and immigrants. Welcoming America, a nationwide network of 18 state operations with 52 partner cities in over 30 states, seeks fertile ground to “seed” refugees and immigrants in “welcoming” communities, while weeding out those “pockets of resistance” that object to being saddled with the myriad problems refugees bring.
[. . .]
Their migrations are not for the purpose of assimilating peacefully in a new host nation, adopting as their own its traditions and legal systems. Rather, Mohammed’s followers, in keeping with the example established by their prophet, are driven first to colonize and then to transform non-Muslim target societies – whether through violent means or via stealthy, pre-violent ones favored by the Muslim Brotherhood when it is not powerful enough to use violence decisively.
[. . .]
As its 1991 strategic plan entitled “The Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal of the Group in North America” declares, the Brothers’ mission in America is to wage “civilization jihad” so as to “destroy the Western civilization from within.” By aiming very explicitly at changing the demographics, legal systems and governments of such infidel states in an incremental process, the civilization jihadists advance their ultimate objective – global submission to Shariah and the reestablishment of a caliphate to rule according to it.

Naturalized Citizen, Granted Asylum From Oppression, Convicted of 30 Felonies, Bombing of Boston Marathon, Four Homicides, Expresses His Gratitude

Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in his jail cell.

[From article]
An unrepentant Dzhokhar Tsarnaev defiantly flipped the bird at a jailhouse surveillance camera in what prosecutors called a “message” to America just three months after he and his brother launched a deadly terror attack at the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Jurors who will decide whether the convicted terrorist will be put to death or rot in prison saw the disgusting video clip on Wednesday – and prosecutors said it clearly showed the self-proclaimed jihadi had zero remorse for the April 15, 2013 bombing that killed three and wounded more than 260 others.
“He’s simply callous and indifferent to human life. It’s his character that makes the death penalty appropriate and just,” prosecutor Madine Pellegrini told the jury.
Jurors saw a still image of the shocking photo on Tuesday, and the never-before-seen video was made public a day later, along with another clip showing him primping and fussing with his hair just hours before his first appearance in federal court on July 10, 2013.

Italians Angered By Invasion of Illegal Immigrants From Africa and Middle East

[From article]
Italians are in growing revolt against the number of migrants arriving on their shores, with more than 10,000 people rescued from the Mediterranean in the past week alone.
The huge influx of asylum seekers from the Middle East and Africa is putting an intolerable strain on a country that has been in recession for the past five years.
Conservative politicians called this week for boatloads of refugees to be sent back to Libya, while the system of migrant reception centres is on the verge of collapse.
The government in Rome has asked regional authorities to provide 6,500 new beds for migrants who are arriving on a daily basis in Sicily and the tiny island of Lampedusa.
But many regions responded grudgingly - some with downright hostility - saying they had no space to offer.
Val d’Aosta, a small, mountainous region on the French border, offered to take just one refugee.
There was also a frosty reception from the wealthy northern region of Lombardy.
[. . .]

“The situation is becoming unsustainable,” Mario Mattioli, the owner of the tug boat, told La Repubblica on Thursday. “Taking part in rescues is no longer unusual – it has become routine.
“Like other merchant ships we are being called on to help out on a daily basis, but our crews are not trained to deal with these operations. We can’t provide medical care or thermal blankets or emergency food.”
There are also security issues for the crews of merchant ships – this week traffickers fired shots into the air from Kalashnikovs in order to force an Italian vessel and an Icelandic coast guard ship to relinquish a wooden boat which had been used to transport migrants from the Libyan coast.

EU Suggests Establishing Asylum Camps In Origin Countries

[From article]
European Union foreign ministers will on Monday consider helping set up camps in the Middle East and Africa where people can request asylum on site without having to risk their lives crossing the Mediterranean to reach Europe, officials said.
At least 3,500 people, many of them fleeing poverty and fighting, died trying to make the journey in 2014, according to the United Nations. Data suggest the number trying to reach the most common destination, Italy, is rising sharply.
The Italian coast guard said on Friday it had coordinated the rescue of 153 migrants who were being taken to Sicily aboard a Danish merchant ship after their rafts ran into trouble around 30 miles from the coast of Libya.
[. . .]
"This would deprive human traffickers of an important share of their market."
[. . .]
Tunisia, Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon are indicated in the letter as the first countries that the EU assistance should focus on.

Sikhs Leaving Afghanistan For UK Due To Intense Abuse By Taliban

The migrants were found in this shipping container which had come from Belgium to the UK
[From article]
Very little had been heard about Afghan Sikhs until 35 were found at Tilbury docks nearly three weeks ago. Those who were found alive in the shipping container are now claiming asylum so they can join relatives and friends already in Southall. The temple has been helping them with donations of food and clothing.
[. . .] Cremations, a fundamental part of their belief, are frowned on. The practice is forbidden under Islamic law and the main cremation ground in Kabul was moved miles out of the city. And there is pressure to convert to Islam.
Mr Singh said: "There are hassles and beatings and sometimes they want money. At fasting time, when we are cooking, they come, spill the food and there are beatings as well. They ask 'why do you not fast? Why do you not become Muslims?'"
The Taliban forced the Sikhs to wear yellow armbands and the Sikhs say they were pushed out of top jobs and their children were discriminated against in schools.

France Agrees To Provide Asylum To Christians Under Attack By Muslims in Iraq; White House Silent

U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA)

[From article]
The French government says it is willing to grant asylum to Iraqi Christians in the face of a jihadist onslaught against them.
“We are assisting displaced persons who are fleeing the Islamic State’s threats and seeking refuge in Kurdistan,” Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said in a joint statement this week. “Should they so wish, we are prepared to offer them asylum on our soil.”
In Washington, meanwhile, a leading religious freedom advocate on Capitol Hill slammed both President Obama and Congress Tuesday for their “silence” about the plight of Iraq’s Christians, which he said amounted to “genocide.”
“The silence in this town – in Washington – is deafening,” Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) said on the House floor. “Does Washington even care?”

Obama's Aunt Remains Illegally in US

"President Barack Obama’s Aunt Zeituni admits she illegally overstayed her visa. Instead of obeying the law, she went to a judge in 2003 with a bogus request for asylum. She was turned down. She ignored the deportation order and instead filed an appeal. She was told again: It’s illegal for you to stay.

She’s still here.
Aunt Zeituni donated $260 to her nephew’s campaign for president - which is also against the law because she’s not a U.S. citizen. How against the law is it? Remember when the president launched his unprecedented attack against the Supreme Court during his State of the Union? His complaint was that foreigners might donate money to influence U.S. elections."
