Misguided Clueless Opinions On American Values

those that fit into the tyrant category are shaking the tree of liberty with a decision that includes crediting back payments for time worked illegally in the U.S.
In other words, as part of Obama’s ‘fundamental transformation,’ America has transitioned from a nation who once threatened to fine employers for hiring illegals into a nation crediting illegals with back Social Security payments for work done illegally.
And if rewarding illegals isn’t outrageous enough, with the help of a Congress complicit in furthering the abuse of power, via a $1.1 trillion omnibus budget deal the president plans to further frustrate the efforts of blue-collar Americans desperate to find a job by awarding work visas to 3 million illegal employees.

Barack Obama subjects our nation to a litany of course-corrective sermons, where he who knows nothing about “American values” lectures endlessly about “American values.” Clearly, this ongoing effort is not to cultivate freedom, but rather to deconstruct the American view of the world in hopes of helping the stubborn to see America ‘not as it is, but as Obama and his ilk believe it should be.’

With that in mind, maybe it’s time for the electorate to be reminded that a budget has just been passed that metes out social justice in the form of funding for baby chop-shops, shores up ObamaCare, validates climate change chicanery, and places the wants and needs of illegal immigrants above the challenges facing stressed-out Americans.
Not only that, but those we’ve entrusted with safeguarding this nation think so little of the citizenry that they’ve also sanctioned spending $1.6 billion to resettle ISIS-infiltrated refugees in our neighborhoods, which might mean that Americans could be facing a form of tyranny far worse than the Islamic state.

what needs to take place in America requires more than acknowledging Congress’s betrayal of the public trust or speaking out against the president’s calculated effort to curtail our First and Second Amendment rights.



This isn’t about recognizing the absurdity of being asked to believe that our mortal enemies will become our friends if we treat them as if we’re walking on shards of glass. Nor is it a matter of rejecting Obama’s appeal to embrace the falsehoods that independence requires servitude, weakness is synonymous with peace, lies are factual, and that tolerating a government-arranged mass looting is how generosity is expressed.
Instead, it’s about the American people finally wresting from the clutches of oppression that which was purchased for us with the blood of patriots who recognized tyranny and then refreshed the tree of liberty accordingly.

And when they do it, they congratulate themselves about how they have stood up against “fascism” and “intolerance,” when the intolerant fascists are they themselves. Intellectually, young Americans are the most docile conformists, no matter how vocally and self-righteously they declare themselves free.

The culture is ugly. The music is ugly, violent, and misogynistic. Every crime drama and suspense series is rife with the most unimaginable gore. Game of Thrones, Law and Order (Sex Crimes), American Horror Story – they’re all devoid of humanity and morality. Devoid of goodness. It’s a cultural rout. It’s not that the line between good and evil has been blurred – it’s nonexistent. We are living in a cultural free-for-all, or more accurately, a free fall.
Pain, blame, victimhood are the ideals.

What better icon for such a culture of terror than a pile of dung with a smiley face? It’s not just on phones; it’s on jewelry and shoes at Bloomingdales and Bergdorf Goodman. A ring featuring this image goes for $500, shoes for $340. It’s beloved.
A culture that would love such a thing is incapable of true humanity and love. Hollywood is incapable of writing or producing a Casablanca.

Students Support Making Jonathan Gruber Secretary of Defense

By now, most of us know how Obamacare Architect Jonathan Gruber feels about the American voter. He thinks that a lot of them are pretty stupid. At least, the ones who bought into the sales pitch that he created in order to convince the American people Obamacare was a terrific idea.
But, was he right? Are American voters really as dim-witted as Gruber thinks they are?
“I’ve heard him talk, either on YouTube or something of that nature, so I know how inspiring he is.”
In order to test that theory, I traveled to a college campus to see if I could get students to sign a petition that would ask President Obama to withdraw his current nominee for the position of Secretary of Defense and replace him with……..Jonathan Gruber!

The Quran contains many other verses that call for Muslim violence against nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule.
Contrast the words of the Quran with the statements of limp-wristed Western leaders such as this by President Barack Obama: "We have reaffirmed that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace." While reacting to ISIL's slaughter of British citizen David Haines, Prime Minister David Cameron said, "Islam is a religion of peace." Then there was the U.S. secretary of state's explanation: "The real face of Islam is a peaceful religion based on the dignity of all human beings." But John Kerry and other Western politicians calling Islam a religion of peace doesn't make it so.

In an oral presentation assignment where students were asked to research the effect of Obamacare on millennials, the student presenter was asked how he could explain that Obama lied more than 20 times about Americans keeping their doctors and their health insurance plans. In response, the young man said that "it was just an oversight" on the part of the president!
So while businesses keep looking for critical thinking in their employees, instructors are faced with students who lack the ability to question, to research, to connect dots, and, frankly, to think.

But today’s millennials have the consolation of having the president they wanted.

Being Green

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.

The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days."

The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations."

She was right -- our generation didn't have the 'green thing' in its day.

Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled.

But we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.

Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we reused for numerous things, most memorable besides household garbage bags, was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our schoolbooks. This was to ensure that public property, (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings.

Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags.

But too bad we didn't do the "green thing" back then. We walked up stairs, because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.

But she was right. We didn't have the "green thing" in our day.
Back then, we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throwaway kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts -- wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that young lady is right; we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.

Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana . In the kitchen, we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.

But she's right; we didn't have the "green thing" back then.

We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.

But we didn't have the "green thing" back then.

Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service in the family's $45,000 SUV or van, which cost what a whole house did before the "green thing." We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.

But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the "green thing" back then?

Who need lessons in conservation from a smart young persons who can't make change without the cash register telling them how much?

Misguided Misinformed Politicians and Population

On the global scene, America has imploded: Its leaders have no grasp of its national interests, never mind any sense of how to achieve them. The assumption that we are in the early stages of “the post-American world” is now shared by everyone from Gen. Sisi to Vladimir Putin. Gen. Privacy is dying in all technologically advanced nations, and it may simply be a glum fact of contemporary existence that the right to live an unmonitored life is now obsolete unless one wishes to relocate to upcountry villages in Somalia or Waziristan. Nevertheless, even by the standards of other Western nations, America’s loss of privacy is deeply disturbing. Its bureaucracy is bigger and better-funded, and its response to revelations of its abuse of power is to make it still bigger and better-funded and more bureaucratic.

Maybe they could just have NSA customer-service representatives announcing that your call may be monitored for quality control purposes at the start of every telephone conversation. Of course, most customer-service representatives are based in India (telephone code 91) but there’s a sporting chance the NSA would confuse it with Kansas (code 913), which could do wonders for the employment rate.

But, like Obama says, it’s merely a theoretical “prospect” of abuse. You’d have to be paranoid to think it could actually happen…

Obama Supports Occupiers of the Streets: A Solution at Last

Obama shows how weak and incompetent he is. As President he demonstrates he has no idea what to do to lead the country out of the economic mess. He blamed Bush, as if that was a solution. Who will direct their energy and passion? So far the group of clueless students marched on Verizon, another diversion from the real culprits. They cannot see their own universities as the creators of Obama and the mess we are in. Experts created this. People like, Tax Cheater Geithner, Obama's Treasury Secretary. Greedy Lawrence Summers, former Harvard President and Professor of Economics. Most of all the politicians who take money from Wall Street fat cats are off limits to these misguided young people. Obama is one of the largest if not the largest recipient of money from Wall Street. How dumb can so many people be? H.L. Mencken again shows his brilliance: "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." After so many years of dumbing down the schools this is the resulting product of American Union education. Maybe we need to limit political candidates to be only union members? Ya think?
