All it takes is one psychiatrist or a psychologist employed by police or a crime family to say, "The subject is dangerous and will be violent in the future." Shocking video footage shows a 30-year-old man trying to kidnap a teenager by dragging her across the floor of a Dollar General store in Florida while her mother desperately tried to stop him.
Craig Bonello was seen shopping in the store when he suddenly grabbed the 13-year-old girl, who was shopping with her mother in Hernando just before noon on Tuesday.
Bonello, who was stopped outside the store by an off duty sheriff's deputy, will be charged with kidnapping and child abuse.
Bonello appeared to be pushing a shopping cart loaded with goods when he circled around an aisle and suddenly grabbed the teenager, whose name is being withheld.
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office credited the girl's heroic mother, who followed Bonello and desperately tried to snatch her daughter in a 'tug of war', NBC reported.
According to WFAA, the mother eventually lay on top of the teen to prevent Bonello from dragging her out the store.
'In my 10 years on the road I have never seen anything like this. He truly intended to abduct this child right in front of everyone in the store,' Sergeant Craig Callahan said in a statement.
'It actually was violent enough to tear the girl's shirt up pretty badly that she was wearing,' Callahan added.
'We're very fortunate that the mother had the motherly instinct and did what she did. She may have saved her daughter's life.'
The manager yelled as Bonello tried to flee, and off-duty deputy Jonathan Behnen happened to be walking into the store after spending the morning in court.
Behnen blocked the 30-year-old's car as he tried to drive off and eventually arrested him.
No one was injured, and an investigation is ongoing.
Bonello's uncle suggested the man was suffering from mental illness, saying: 'It's just sad that this has happened, because this is not the kid that grew up with my kids.
'He needs to talk to some psychiatrists and find out what the issue is,' Tony Bonello said.
Bonello, who has several misdemeanors on his record, was most recently arrested for trespassing at a Walmart in February.

A migrant abducted a four-year-old boy at an Austrian swimming pool just so he could molest his mother when she came to look for him in the latest terrifying sex attack.
The man, who barely spoke German had attempted to chat to the 37-year-old woman who was at the pool in the town of Klagenfurt with her young son.
When she rejected his advances, the asylum seeker went into the children's play pool, where her son was and grabbed the boy.
He then ran off with him into a grotto behind a fake waterfall within the swimming complex.
The boy's panicked mother then ran after him and found the pair hiding in the coroner.
But when the mother arrived, the man put the child aside and instead grabbed her and groped her inside her swimming costume.

He said the man is described as dark-skinned, six foot one inches tall, powerfully built with short curly hair, brown eyes and a moustache.
Meanwhile Austrian police also confirmed today that a seven-year-old girl was threatened by an asylum seeker from Afghanistan.
The man had approached the girl in the indoor swimming pool in the Penzing area of the Austrian capital Vienna, and had been spotted by outraged guests pointing at his crotch and indicating what he wanted her to do.
Austrian police spokesman Roman Hahslinger confirmed that the man had been arrested before the had been any physical contact.
He had been spotted by outraged swimmers who raised the alarm and the man has been released on bail while the investigation continues.
The incident comes just days after a swimming pool in Germany said it was being forced to segregate men and women after two sex attacks by migrants took place.

Miami Couple Charged With Kidnapping Rape Of A Woman

The pair met the victim on January 16 at Miami Beach, and the victim willingly spent the night with the couple at their house, WFLA reported.
The following day, Rosado told the victim that she and Forbes 'meet people and commit robberies', an arrest affidavit said.
When the victim tried to leave the home, she was aggressively told not to, the arrest affidavit said.
She was then bound by the legs and arms and prevented from leaving the house for five days, police said.
'[Forbes]' actions, combined with the knowledge hat they commonly commit robberies, placed the victim in fear to leave the residence,' police told PEOPLE.
At one point during the victim's captivity, Forbes tried to have sex with her, and later told Rosado that he had sex with the woman, which prompted an argument between the couple, according to the affidavit.
The couple then ended up attacking the woman, bruising her right eye after striking her multiple times with a cloth belt.

'[Forbes and Rosado] then carried the victim upstairs, placed a sock in her mouth and covered her head with a black sheet,' the report said. [They] placed the victim in a bedroom where she remained throughout the night.'
On another occasion, the woman was forced to perform oral sex on Forbes and then he raped her, the police report said, according to NBC Miami.
The woman was released by the couple after five days, when they took her to a train station on January 22.
She then promptly called the police and Forbes and Rosado were later arrested.

Quincy, Massachusetts Gentleman Arrested, Charged With Online Impersonating Women, Soliciting Rape and Home Invasions

ARRAIGNED: Thomas M. Sheehan pleaded not guilty yesterday in Haverhill District Court to charges including soliciting rape and soliciting kidnapping.

Investigators say a former limo driver is suspected of posting the names, photographs and addresses of “numerous” unsuspecting women on an adult website, and, posing as them, inviting men to break into their homes and rape and torture them.
Thomas M. Sheehan, 45, of Quincy, pleaded not guilty yesterday in Haverhill District Court to charges of soliciting rape, soliciting kidnapping and soliciting assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with one of the cases. Thomas Ralph, Attorney General Maura Healey’s chief of cybercrime prosecutions, said Sheehan not only put up pictures of a Groveland woman on the adult website, but her two juvenile daughters, as well.

Patten set bail at $15,000 cash and ordered that if Sheehan posts it, he be on GPS monitoring and 24-hour lockdown at home. He is also forbidden from using computers or the Internet, or from having any contact with children.
Sheehan’s attorney, Michael J. Baldassarre, protested. “I would purport to the court that it was role-play fantasy only,” he said, “not meant to be acted upon.”

An Indian man has been accused of kidnapping and raping a female colleague for five days to force her to convert to Islam.
Engineer Syen Emad Hasan, 30, proposed to the 27-year-old woman but she rejected him and said her family would not allow 'an inter-religious marriage', police said.
He harassed her until she cut short a work trip to Dubai. When she returned home to confront Hasan, he abducted her, locked her up at his house and took away her phone.
Hasan and the woman, who has not been named, worked together at a Dell computer repairs shop in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
When she left the company and moved to Dubai in August, he 'continued to torture her on social media', police said.
'The woman told us she was forced to talk to Hasan as he showed her photos and videos of them together in Hyderabad, and threatened to send them to her father, said Inspector Ravinder.
He added: 'He [Hasan] also demanded that she send inappropriate photos of her.'
When she returned home to Hyderabad to confront him, he snatched her away to his flat in the al-Hasanath colony, Indian Express reported.
'He took three days’ leave and brutalised and sexually assaulted her,' said an officer of Hyderabad's 'She Team', a police unit tasked with investigating sexual assault.
They added: 'He threatened to continue doing so until she agreed to marry him after converting to Islam. He even threatened to set her on fire and strangle her.

After four days of captivity, the woman managed to get onto Facebook when Hasan was out and messaged her friend.
Her friend contacted her brother in the south western city of Karnataka, who made the 280 mile journey to Hyderabad and alerted the police.

Missing Ohio Teen Rescued, Found Safe

The Ohio teenager who went missing 23 days ago after going outside her house to take her dog for a walk has been found more than 500 miles away.
Alexis 'Lexi' Boroviak, 15, was rescued by authorities on Tuesday afternoon at a home in Marthasville, Missouri, a nine-hour car drive away from her home in Brooklyn, Ohio.
Police have now revealed she was being held against her will and they have arrested 41-year-old Chris Schroeder, who is facing both federal and state charges.

Schroeder and Lexi met on the social media app Kik and the teenager said she was unhappy at home.
Schroeder then drove the nine hours back to his home with Lexi

He told her she was to clean for him and needed to lose weight and change her physical appearance.

Authorities found two video cameras recording the bed in the room Lexi was staying in,

Lexi went to walk her family's dog around 7:30pm on Sunday November 8 and just ten minutes later her stepsister walked inside to say the dog was wandering around in front of the house and Lexi was nowhere to be found.
Thousands came together to try and help locate the teenager, including actor Nicholas Cage and the three women who spent a decade held captive in a Cleveland house of horrors.
Cleveland.com reported that just days after Lexi disappeared Michelle Knight, Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry lent their support for the search at a flashlight rally.
It was the first time the three women had been together in over a year.
Also present was Lexi's mother Linda Chalfant and stepfather Britton Ramsey who said that if the young girl simply ran away she could return home at any time.
Chalfant gave an interview to reporter Scott Taylor on Wednesday saying that when she got the news that Lexi was safe it was the happiest day of her life.
She also thanked all the volunteers who helped in the search for her daughter.

A former babysitter accused of kidnapping a two-year-old girl in the middle of the night and assaulting her could barely stand as she made her first court appearance on Monday.
Abigail Hanna, 21 from Topsfield, Massachusetts, was arrested in a hospital on Friday after Lyndon Albers, a child she had previously babysat, was discovered naked on the side of a road, three hours after she was reported missing and eight miles from her home.
The two-year-old toddler had cigarette burns on her body and her head shaved to reveal a bruise the size of a softball.
The private-school educated Hanna balanced with the help of guards as she was escorted into the courtroom on Monday.
Her legal team entered a plea of not guilty before a judge held her without bail.
A doctor told the court she was experiencing psychotic symptoms and not fit to stand trial while her lawyers said she had a history of suicide attempts and hallucinations.

John Grisham''s newest book (Doubleday 2015) Rogue Lawyer about Sebastian Rudd's cases and  clients. Very exciting read. Along the way he makes observations about the legal system which he uses to justify his stepping over the lines to counter the extra legal activities of the police and prosecutors. He no longer maintains a real office in a building. Instead his office is an armor plated vehicle with a desk. He is accompanied by his body guard Partner. That's his name, Partner. As an investor in a UFC Fighter he defends him when the fighter is prosecuted for homicide. The police chief kidnaps his son. It is a wild ride and his mobile office gets destroyed during the book.



His observation about prosecutors is "Virtually all prosecutors have the same genetic flaw; they cannot admit the obvious once it's on the table. They cling to their theories. They know they are right because they've been convinced of it for months, even years. 'I believe in my case' is one of their favorite lines, and they'll repeat it mindlessly as the real killer walks forward with blood on his hands and says, 'I did it.'"

Quoting the one honest cop in the department, Spurio [honest policeman] says, "These guys are outta control, Rudd [the rogue lawyer]. You gotta stop them."
He responds, "No way, Nate. I can't stop them. Maybe I can embarrass them from time to time, cost the city some money, but what they're doing here is happening everywhere. We live in a police state and everybody supports the cops."

The prosecutor in one case "is not a bad guy and does not want to be where he is now sitting. His problem is simple and obvious--an eager-beaver cop got wounded in a botched raid, and the law, in black and white, says the guy who shot him is guilty. It's a bad law written by clueless people, and now [prosecutor] Finney is compelled to enforce it. He cannot simply drop the charges. The police union is breathing down his neck.

Max Mancini, chief prosecutor is "crafty in the courtroom and boasts of a 99 percent conviction rate, same as every other prosecutor in America. Because he's the boss, he gets to manipulate the numbers, so he has real proof that his 99 percent is legitimate.



Describing the herd mentality, the police have the killer. To relieve the enormous pressure on them, and to begin the process of poisoning public opinion, and to establish the presumption of guilt, they are manipulating the press, as always. A leak here and there and cameras show up to capture the face that everyone has been desperate to see. The "journalists" chase their tails, and [suspect] Arch Swanger is as good as convicted.
Why bother with a trial?

If the cops can't convict with evidence, they use the media to convict with suspicion.
Regarding experts he says, the truth can be expensive, especially when it comes from expert witnesses. Our system is chock-full of "experts" who do little in the way of teaching, researching, or writing. Instead, they roam the country as hired guns testifying for fat fees. Pick an issue, a set of facts, a mysterious cause, and unexplained result, anything really, you can find a truckload of PhDs willing to testify with all sorts of wild theories. They advertise. They solicit. They chase cases. They hang around conventions where lawyers gather to drink and compare notes. They brag about "their verdicts."
Their losses are rarely mentioned.



They are occasionally discredited by nasty cross-examinations, in open court, but they stay in business because they are so often effective. In a criminal trial, an expert has to convince only one juror to hang things up and cause a mistrial. Hang it again on the retrial, and the State will usually throw in the towel.

He's a retired psychiatrist who never liked to teach or listen to patients. Legal insanity has always fascinated him--the crime of passion, the irresistible impulse, the moment when the mind is so filled with emotion and hate that it commands the body to act violently and in a way never contemplated. He prefers to do all the talking. It's his way of convincing me how brilliant he is. I listen to his bull**** as I try to analyze how a jury will react to him. He's likable, intense, smart, and a good conversationalist.
He spends two hours evaluating [the defendant, client], and surprise, surprise, he is now certain the kid blacked out, went crazy, and does not remember pummeling the referee.



On criminals who threaten him, "They are the traffickers, some extremely nasty guys. A gang, a ring, a cartel, a disciplined band of criminals, most with ties to eastern Europe, but some local guys as well. They abuse the girls, keep them terrified and confused and hooked on heroin. Most people in this country don't believe there's sex trafficking in their cities, but it's there. It's everywhere. They, the traffickers, prey on runaways, homeless kids, girls from bad families looking for escape. It's a sick business, [. . .] really sick.

A 58-year-old man has been arrested after police say he attached jumper cables to the ears of a 15-year-old boy to get information about a robbery.
Robert McDowell is accused of approaching the teen - who is autistic - and 'putting what the victim said was a handgun in the middle of his back during in Wichita, Kansas
Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza says the suspect took the teen to a garage, tied him to a trailer hitch, then attached jumper cables to his ears and shocked him repeatedly while asking him who had stolen his wallet.

Police say the man's wallet had been stolen and he believed the teen knew who was responsible.
The suspect eventually released the boy, who ran home and told his father what happened. He was taken to a hospital.
The man faces charges of aggravated battery and kidnapping.

CT Woman, Black Lives Matter Supporter, Arrested For Kidnapping, Sexual Assault

Police have arrested and charged a woman in the attempted abduction of a teenage girl who bailed out of the suspect's moving car to escape in Connecticut.
Towanna Randall, 38, of New Haven, Connecticut was arrested Saturday at 7.30pm, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.

The teenage girl escaped from the car, pictured, shortly after she was lured into the vehicle.

Randall was charged with sexual assault, unlawful restraint and reckless endangerment.
On October 5, a 17-year-old girl was walking to school on Boston Avenue when a driver pulled up in a charcoal grey Toyota Corolla and offered her a ride, police said.



Towanna Randall's bond was set at $100,000 and she is expected to appear in court on October 13.

Randall has an extensive criminal record that includes robbery, larceny, and selling hallucinogenic drugs, police say.
In an effort to help track down the suspect, police released surveillance footage of the incident, which showed the rear bumper on the car missing.

Arrest in Second Grader Girl, 8, Missing in Oklahoma For 18 Years

An Oklahoma man has been arrested in connection to the cold-case disappearance of his eight-year-old neighbor who was abducted from her bedroom in 1997.
Investigators used DNA to link Anthony Palma, 56, to the murder of Kirsten Hatfield, who was reported missing from her Midwest City home on May 14, 1997

It is likely that Palma has been motivated to stay in the same home to conceal evidence of the crime and/or the location of Kirsten's body.'
Palma was reportedly arrested at him home, according to KFOR.
Shortly after Kirsten's disappearance, her mother, Shannon Hazen, told police she had tucked the blonde second-grader in on the evening of May 13, 1997. When she went to check on her in the morning, the eight-year-old was nowhere to be found, reported The Oklahoman.
However, blood was discovered on Kirsten's windowsill and her underwear was found in her backyard. Investigators recovered DNA from those items but did not get a match when running the information through DNA databases.

Palma, who has worked as a groundskeeper for many years, was questioned about the case in 1997 and again this past June.
Police said on both occasions, he said he was home the night Kirsten went missing.
But investigators said Palma's June interview was inconsistent with what he told detectives 18 years prior, reported the station KOCO.
Records show the 56-year-old served more than a year in prison in 1985 for an assault. He is currently being held without bond.

Denise Huskins fronted a press conference on Monday following the arrest of a former Marine and Harvard University professor who allegedly kidnapped her and tied up her boyfriend in a bizarre plot that was labeled a hoax by police.
The FBI were able to arrest Matthew Muller, 38, of Orangeville, California, by using a pair of swim goggles found in the suspect's car that had long blonde hair attached to them.
Huskins - who was taken from her home in Vallejo on March 23 after a group of individuals entered the house and tied up her boyfriend - said through her lawyer that she was pleased that the 'psychopath' who allegedly kidnapped her was now in custody.
Furthermore, the arrest seems to have vindicated Huskins and boyfriend Aaron Quinn, who police openly suspected of hoaxing the entire abduction due to the strange details of the case.
'Today is a fabulous day for Denise Huskins,' attorney Douglas Rappaport said, NBC reported. [. . .]
Huskins was set free just one day after she was taken in the town she grew up in, leading many to speculate that the entire incident had been staged much like the popular novel and film Gone Girl.
Huskins said she was sexually assaulted twice during the kidnap, according to federal documents.
Muller was originally arrested on June 8
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the FBI arrested Muller at his South Lake Tahoe home in relation to a home invasion robbery in the area, and as they investigated the case began to notice similarities between that incident and the kidnapping of Huskins.
On June 29 he was still in custody and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest in connection to the kidnapping.

Muller is being held at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
It was also revealed that Muller attended Harvard Law and worked at Kerosky, Purves & Bogue law firm in San Francisco.[. . .]
He lost his license to practice in 2014, and as of next week will be disbarred according to the State Bar of California.
Muller failed to file proper documents in the case of one of his clients, and after that did not return the money he was paid according to the State Bar.
NBC is reporting Muller is also a former Marine who is bipolar and suffers from what police call 'Gulf War Illness.'
In addition, Muller worked as a professor at Harvard from 2006 until 2009, and according to an interview in The Harvard Law Record was married at one point.
It is not known if Muller is still married.

He was stationed in japan during his service, and upon returning home attended community college before enrolling at Pomona where he graduated summa cum laude before going off to Harvard Law School.
The FBI made the connection after discovering a pair of goggles in the truck of Muller's Mustang that matched those Huskins had said were used in her kidnapping.
Upon closer inspection, authorities found a long piece of blond hair stuck to some duct tape on the goggles, just like Huskins' hair.
Investigators also found a 'super soaker type of water pistol that had been spray-painted black and had a flashlight and laser pointer taped to it'.
It is not known if any other individuals have been arrested at this time, though Huskins claimed she was kidnapped by at least two men.

Elias Abdurahman, 61, and Sara Kebede Tadesse, 50, are set to be arraigned Tuesday on charges of torture, imprisonment, assault and abuse, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. The couple allegedly used a cane to beat the woman.
The Lancaster couple was arrested Sept. 22 and accused of tormenting and locking up the 54-year-old woman for the past year.
The woman was frail, emaciated and covered in fresh and old wounds when deputies found her Sept. 22 inside the shed in the backyard of a home in the 45000 block of East 2nd Street, the district attorney’s office said. Deputies went to the home after reports of screaming.

Prosecutors allege the couple tortured the woman for the purpose of revenge, extortion, persuasion and for a sadistic purpose, according to the Los Angeles County Superior Court criminal complaint.
A neighbor told KABC-TV that the woman was covered in bruises, but she refused offers of help, saying she was involved in a car accident.

Juan Manuel Gomez Fernandez and Juan Manuel Gomez Monteverde were kidnapped in Tampico, a city in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, and were found dead a few weeks later with critical head wounds, Central European News reported.

An Atlanta couple have told of the terrifying moment four men pretending to have had car troubles burst into their home and robbed them at gunpoint, shooting the father-of-two in front of his children.
Mike and Whitney Lash had just returned to their house with their two young children on August 16 when the men knocked on their door.
Mr Lash answered the door, and the men said they had just moved down the street but had a flat tire and wanted to borrow a jack, but Mrs Lash felt something was amiss from the start.
'I had a feeling that it was an excuse and we were about to be robbed. Right about that moment I saw them pull the gun on Mike,' she told ABC News.
As Mr Lash saw the gun, he tried to slam the door shut, but two other men suddenly appeared.
Mr Lash was shot three times in the his right leg as he attempted to keep the men out of his house.
The four men then forced their way in.


Arrest: Brandon Jerome Smith, 18, was arrested on Thursday in relation to the armed robbery. Police are still searching for the three others believed to be involved .

Mr Lash believed the gang were going to kill him and started praying.
'Lord, this is, I guess, the moment I will meet you today … if it is not your will, I am ready to stay,' he recalled.
Mrs Lash grabbed the couple's six-month-old daughter, Lucy, and the phone and ran into the yard calling 911.
Their other child, two-year-old Everson, was upstairs sleeping.
'I heard footsteps of someone running and two more shots that were aimed at me and my daughter,' Mrs Lash told ABC.
The intruder then caught up to her and the child and brought them back into the house.

The four men detained the family and proceeded to steal items from the house.
'It just went like a silent movie,' Mr Lash recalled.
'They started walking in and I remember them coming in and out multiple times, just bringing stuff from our house.'

The gang eventually left with the loot.
Mrs Lash and the children were not harmed, and Mr Lash was rushed to hospital to remove the bullets from his leg.
The couple were able to work with police to provide sketches of their alleged assailants.
The sketches lead to the arrest of Brandon Jerome Smith, 18, on Thursday.

A Tennessee bank executive and his family were held hostage at gunpoint and he was forced to rob the bank where he works, according to reports.
Tanner Harris, first vice president of SmartBank, was held alongside his family inside their home in Knoxville.
Two masked men - armed with handguns and a rifle - blindfolded and handcuffed Mr Harris and his wife Abbey, The Knoxville News Sentinel reported.
They then forced the couple and their five-month-old son into the family car and drove them to the bank where Mr Harris works.

"It also prevents them from being on camera."
The suspects are were both white males. One was around 6ft 1in tall, while the other was 5ft 9ins with a stocky build.

American hostage Kayla Mueller was repeatedly forced to have sex with Abu Bakr Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State group, U.S. intelligence officials told her family in June.
"They told us that he married her, and we all understand what that means," Carl Mueller, Kayla's father, told The Associated Press on Friday, which would have been his daughter's 27th birthday. Her death was reported in February.
Her mother, Marsha Mueller, added, "Kayla did not marry this man. He took her to his room and he abused her and she came back crying."
The news is but the latest in a litany of horrors perpetrated by the Islamic State group, which has beheaded, burned and crucified male captives while passing around women as sex slaves.
Mueller was held for a time by Islamic State financier Abu Sayyaf and his wife, known as Umm Sayyaf. Al-Baghdadi took Mueller as a "wife," repeatedly raping her when he visited, according to a Yazidi teenager who was held with Mueller and escaped in October 2014.
The 14-year-old made her way to Iraqi Kurdistan, where she talked to U.S. commandos in November 2014. Intelligence agencies corroborated her account and American officials passed it on to her parents in June.

Mueller was held with three other women, all Yazidis, the Muellers were told. All were sexually abused. When al-Baghdadi visited, he would take Mueller to his room, the witness told American officials. She would tell her fellow captives — sometimes tearfully — what had happened.
"Kayla tried to protect these young girls," her mother said. "She was like a mother figure to them."
When the teenaged Yazidi girl escaped with her sister, she asked Mueller to accompany her, the parents were told, but Kayla refused, worrying that her obvious Western appearance would lead to their capture.
By the time the Yadizi escapee reported the situation to Delta Force commandos in Iraq, Kayla had been moved, her parents were told.

Mueller, from Prescott, Arizona, was taken hostage with her boyfriend, Omar Alkhani, in August 2013 after leaving a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Aleppo, Syria, where he had been hired to fix the Internet service for the hospital.

An Everett mom suspected of posing as a cop and pepper-spraying a baby sitter while taking two of her kids yesterday from their father’s Abington apartment had developed an elaborate plan, police said, apparently watching the father leave for work before springing into action.
“It appears as if the mother was lying in wait,” said Abington police Deputy Chief Christopher Cutter.
But it all unraveled hours later in Yarmouth as police tracked Bruna P. Gomes, 33, to a motel and her lawyer called police telling them not to question the mother as they went to arrest her.

Abington police said that just before 9 a.m. yesterday, Gomes waited five to 10 minutes after Coelho left for work before knocking on the door of his Walnut Street apartment, police said.
Banging on the door of the basement apartment, Gomes announced loudly she was from the Abington police, cops said. The baby sitter told police he cracked the door a few inches and was hit by a burning cloud of pepper spray.
Gomes gathered up the kids, police said, and the baby sitter — temporarily blinded by the pepper spray — said he heard one kid call out, “Mom, what are you doing?”

Kansas Gentleman Arrested For Rape and Kidnapping of Girlfriend, Held Captive For 4 Months

Suspect: Anthony Allen, 34, is facing charges of kidnapping and rape for allegedly holding his girlfriend captive for four months inside his apartment in Lenexa, Kansas.

A Kansas woman has been saved from the clutches of a boyfriend who held her captive in their apartment for four months after the victim managed to slip a desperate note in with her rent check.
The victim, who has not been identified, was being held against her will inside her home at the Lenexa Pointe Apartments in Lenexa, she told police.
The apartment managed found a note asking for help in an envelope next to the woman's check, which was left in the rent-drop box as per usual.
The manager then called police, who formed a plan to get the woman out with the help of a maintenance worker on Sunday.

The worker, Michael Reyes, was told to knock on the door and tell a cover story about a plumbing problem.
'You know, I was nervous because I didn't know if the guy had a gun or a knife, but I went over there and knocked on the door, and I said, 'Maintenance,' and got her outside, and said the downstairs below is leaking,' Reyes told KSHB.
The suspect, Anthony Allen, 34, was sitting on the couch in the apartment at the time.
Once the victim got outside, she quietly motioned to Reyes
'She was like, ''I hope this is what I think it is'', you know what I mean?' Reyes told the network.
'When I said 'Go downstairs' and she just went, like that.
'She was quick, she didn't even hesitate.
'We got downstairs and that's when she finally, like, looked so relieved, but at the same time, was shaking really bad and like, started crying.'

New York Gentleman, 20, Assisted By His Mother, Kidnaps, Beats Mother of His Child

The 20-year-old mom, who has not been named, was allegedly tortured by the child’s father, identified as Malachi Blaylock, 20, and Blaylock’s mother, identified as Yolanda Gilreath, 51, for five days straight after she stopped by their Rockville Centre home for a visit, according to police.
After being surprised at the door of the house by Blaylock, who had been staying at his mom’s apartment on Old Mill Court, the child was snatched from the woman’s arms and she was ordered into a bedroom.
The young man then shoved the unidentified victim to the ground and told her she couldn’t leave — yelling at her and punching her in the face and body at the same time, authorities said.
Over the course of the next five days, starting at some point last week, Blaylock beat the woman, stabbed her in the hand with a pair of scissors and threatened her with a gun.
She attempted to flee on numerous occasions, but to no avail. After each failed attempt, Blaylock would simply run her down and restrain her again, police said.
On Wednesday, Gilreath and her son moved the woman and her child to a house in Hempstead, where they continued to hold her against her will. After Blaylock left the apartment around 10 p.m. Friday, the victim was able to call her mother — who rushed over to the home to pick her up and take her to the hospital.

The pair faces charges of first-degree kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.
In addition, Blaylock was charged with strangulation, assault, menacing and criminal mischief.
