THE good Samaritans who took onto their farm over 100 refugees displaced by this year’s xenophobic violence, now claim they have been threatened with murder by the same people they had set out to help.
Besides property being destroyed, the ­family who took in the immigrants have also been accused of not helping them to be ­relocated back home or to another country, driving a chasm between them.

Because they don’t have free wi-fi, a gang of African migrants in their tiny host town in Italy rioted, blocking streets, demonstrating and turning over garbage bins.
The refugees, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, have been in a villa in the Italian town of Ceranova, courtesy of the country’s taxpayers. Under Italian rules, they can not work, so they lounge about, spending their free time using Skype to call their families back home, Breitbart is reporting.
But it’s impossible to Skype without wi-fi, so they’re demanding faster service.

A South African appeals court on Thursday convicted Oscar Pistorius of murder, overturning a lower court’s conviction of the double-amputee Olympian on the lesser charge of manslaughter for shooting girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp to death in 2013.
Justice Lorimer Eric Leach of the Supreme Court of Appeal delivered the ruling by the five-judge appeals court in Bloemfontein and directed the trial court, the North Gauteng High Court, to impose sentence.

Leach said regardless of who might have been behind the door, Pistorius should have known someone could be killed if he fired.
“The identity of his victim is irrelevant to his guilt,” the judge said.
Under the concept of “dolus eventualis” in South African law, a person can be convicted of murder if they foresaw the possibility of someone dying through their actions and went ahead anyway.
Reeva Steenkamp’s mother, June, sat quietly in the courtroom during the announcement, which was carried on TV. Pistorius was not there.

Judge Thokozile Masipa said she felt the double-amputee Olympian acted negligently when he fatally shot Steenkamp through a toilet door in his home in the predawn hours of Valentine’s Day last year. The man accused of brutally killing American marketing executive Gabriela Kabrins at a luxury resort in South Africa is the troubled 'black sheep' of a billionaire family, Daily Mail Online can reveal.
Guatemalan playboy Diego Dougherty, 41, was charged with murder after his girlfriend Gaby's body was found along with a large quantity of cocaine in their hotel room in the affluent Cape Town beachside suburb of Camps Bay last Wednesday.
He is now being treated in a prison hospital for 'emotional reasons' following at least two fainting spells since his arrest.
Police say 39-year-old LA-based Kabrins was severely beaten and suffered an horrific sexual assault before being strangled to death at the five-star Camps Bay Retreat Boutique Hotel.[. . .]
Daily Mail Online can now reveal that prime suspect Dougherty is a member of the Dougherty Novella clan - one of the most powerful families in Central America, whose cement business is estimated to be worth billions of dollars.

Family sources tell Daily Mail Online that murder suspect Dougherty is the 'black sheep' of the super-rich clan - a drug-addicted playboy who has never worked and who is regularly bailed out of trouble by his family.
Investigators in South Africa believe Kabrins's death resulted from a drug-fueled sex session gone wrong.
Dougherty was arrested after he was spotted wandering on a nearby beach following the discovery of Gaby's body.
It is believed Kabrins, who was of Mexican descent and spoke fluent Spanish, originally met him in the US when they were younger and they recently reconnected through social media.
A friend said she was in love with Dougherty and regularly visited him for long periods in Guatemala.
The pair first met at Pepperdine University in Malibu and Dougherty spent a number of years in the US - where the Dougherty Novella family owns homes in New York, Miami and Los Angeles.

But the family source revealed: 'Diego had a very privileged upbringing and became a spoiled brat. He has never had a job and lived the life of a playboy, full of vices and eccentricities.
'In Guatemala he has got himself into a lot of minor trouble but he always got out of it thanks to the family influence.
'His school friends say that when he drinks he turns into a savage. In recent years he has become a heavy user of crack and cocaine.'
Although police say they believe he was taking part in a drug deal, as 1lb. of cocaine was found in his room, sources in Guatemala insist that cannot be the case.
'He is a user, not a dealer. He doesn't need the money,' said one.

To get a feel for Noah's brand of humor, one could simply watch his debut on the fake news show in December of 2014, when he jokingly declared that present-day America had worse race relations than Apartheid South Africa. After introducing Noah as the show's newest contributor at the time, Stewart noted: "And I know that you flew in, I guess, yesterday from South Africa." Noah replied: "Yeah, I just flew in and boy are my arms tired....No, no, seriously, I've been holding my arms like this since I got here." He made the completely discredited "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" gesture with his hands and added: "I never thought I'd be more afraid of police in America than in South Africa. In a number of incidents, the police officer used his authority to force the victims to submit to his demands.
In one incident, a woman was raped several times while in custody and in another, a woman was raped in court.
Nine out of the 26 listed rape cases occurred in either police station cells or official police vehicles.
The report says in a typical case, a police officer would stop a young woman in a public place, before taking her away to be raped in the back of a police vehicle and then setting her free.
It found a 'significant evidence of a trend' where police officers detain women in order to rape them.
A 2011 version of the report had similar results, including a serious problem with sexual violence by police officers in a country which has one of the highest recorded rates of rape in the world.
