US Rep. Uses Personal Attacks Responding To Witness Testimony

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the recent transgender bathroom mandate, Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) found herself unable to rationally deal with a witness, a law school professor, who had submitted a 21-page written statement to be entered as testimony. As Jennifer Krabbany of the College Fix reports, what set off Lofgren’s meltdown was this:
We are teaching young people a terrible lesson. If I believe that I am a Russian princess, that doesn’t make me a Russian princess, even if my friends and acquaintances are willing to indulge my fantasy. Nor am I a Great Horned Owl just because—as I have been told—I happen to share some personality traits with those feathered creatures. I should add that very few actual transgender individuals are confused in this way. They understand perfectly that their sex and their gender do not align. Some choose surgery to make their bodies better align with their gender. Most choose not to.
Rather than deal with the logic of this statement, Lofgren retreated into the I-am-offended posture, and then when challenged, started calling names:

When the professor quipped: “Does that mean you think I am a Russian princess?” [Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-CA] could only respond “I have no idea.”
…Of course Lofgren knows the answer to San Diego law school professor Gail Heriot’s deliberately absurdist query, but it’s one that she dare not express under her ideology’s Stalinist culture of fear, lest she commit doubleplus ungood gender thoughtcrime.

White House Socialist Propaganda Behind Attacks on Trump

Recently, when disrupters showed up at a Trump rally in Chicago, the first thing that came to mind was that America’s most notorious community organizer could be the wizard behind the curtain orchestrating what was being sold as an organic occurrence.
In Saul Alinsky’s 1971 book Rules for Radicals, the late author could have been describing Obama’s last seven years in office when he wrote that an efficacious organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.”
The father of community organizing taught that once people are “whipped up to a fighting pitch,” the agitated could be directed to participate in rowdy demonstrations. By employing those techniques on the international level, Alinsky’s star pupil, Barack Obama, has successfully managed to whip up global chaos.

Granted, thus far, Obama has not acknowledged Weather Underground bomber buddy Bill Ayers protesting Trump in Chicago. In addition, the president has been low key about Black Lives Matter Chicago leader Aislinn Pulley visiting the White House for Black History month a few weeks before #BLM shut Trump down in Chicago.
Obama has even managed to remain mum about his associations with Soros-financed MoveOn.org, Chicago’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and the Communist Party USA, all of whom have also caused disruptions at recent Trump rallies.

like-minded Bernie supporters who have promised that if Donald J. Trump wins the Republican nomination, mass civil disobedience is scheduled to take place that will make Chicago’s 1968 “Battle of Michigan Avenue” seem like a block party.

Remember when the New Black Panthers intimidated white voters with billy clubs at a Philadelphia polling place during the 2008 election? Then, remember how the Tea Party was targeted and harassed by the IRS prior to the 2012 election?

Obama turned a luncheon into an opportunity to fuel street-level strife. By doing what comes naturally, Alinsky’s charge purposely contributed to the “vicious atmosphere” he claims to reject.

when not busy stirring up international turmoil, breeds domestic animosity by depicting white Americans as religious fanatic gunslingers looking to express “antipathy toward people who aren’t like them.”
In keeping with that line of thinking, Barack Obama habitually panders to African Americans, Latinos, young voters, and women. By doing so, this president confirms that the principal objective of everything he says and does is directly related to organizing communities to take action on behalf of the left’s interests.

Apart from the personal satisfaction this subversive enjoys from the extensive damage he’s already done to America, if ever there were a reason to drag into the middle of the Oval Office the infamous chalkboard young Barry used when marshaling the Chicago multitudes, fear that “Hope and Change” will be toppled by someone like Trump would be that reason.
Unconvinced? Let’s remember that prior to the failed Arab Spring it was Obama that helped to organize the Arab street.
So, as the “largest civil disobedience action of the century” looms on the American street, there is little doubt that deep in the bowels of the White House Barack Obama is organizing Democrats to usher in the Democracy Spring.

Recent History of Democratic Party Supreme Court Appointment Hate Campaigns

However, if the Democrats stick to principles they would honor their own Senate Resolution 334 which urges no SCOTUS recess appointments. The likelihood of that occurrence is about on par with Bill Clinton honoring his marriage vows.
With decades of practice, the Democrats have mastered the art using the judiciary for agenda advancement and they play to win, no holds barred. Republicans still believe their Senatorial opponents are gentlemen who play by Robert’s Rules of Order. They do so without supporting evidence.
Past hearings have been fraught with difficulties, false charges, racist allegations, hypocrisy and despicable politics. As the battle looms it is worth recalling the advice of Sun Tzu: “If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril.”
In order to move forward successfully, a refresher on the past is in order:
Robert Bork (1987) Kevin Gutzman, then an intern for Congressman Dick Armey, described the hearing as having “all the makings of a circus.” Gutzman also described the men aligned against Judge Bork as being: “the Democratic majority on the Judiciary Committee, includ(ed) a chairman (Sen. Joe Biden) in the midst of a scandal over his having delivered a speech plagiarized from a British politician, one member (Patrick Leahy) who had been tossed off the Intelligence Committee by its Democratic chairman for leaking documents, another senator (Robert Byrd) who had been a Ku Klux Klansman, and Kennedy, infamous for being tossed out of Harvard for cheating”
Indeed the men who sat in judgement of Robert Bork had issues of their own, but as we know Democrats are as forgiving of themselves as they are unforgiving of the opposition.
Senator Kennedy fired a slanderous broadside against Bork:
“Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the Government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens.”
The well prepared speech had been on hold as the Democrats had been lying in wait for Bork’s expected nomination. The Republicans were stunned, and Bork, was ‘Borked’ and ultimately rejected 42-58. Judge Bork became the fourth Republican nominee rejected in the past 100 years. A Democratic president has not had a nominee rejected since 1894 when Wheeler Hazard Peckham was voted down by the Senate.
Clarence Thomas (1991) As ugly and as hard fought as the Bork hearing was, things got worse. Thomas, nominated to replace civil rights icon Thurgood Marshal, was seen as being too conservative and thus not ‘black enough’ for such an honor. In reality, Thomas was a person worthy of emulation: born dirt poor, a direct descendent of slaves, he fought discrimination while young including desegregating the high school he attended. Hard work, as well as dedication to his studies, allowed him to rise above lesser individuals who lacked his will, character, and intellect. None of that mattered to Democrats or their backers in the NAACP; Clarence Thomas was seen as a Tom, pure and simple, thus the knives came out to stab him in the back.
Having learned from the decimation Bork, Thomas treaded lightly with circumventive responses to loaded questions. The Baltimore Sun in its piece; “The Real Clarence Thomas?”described the testimony:
“Too often… he chose to retreat into such safe responses as, "I have to wait to read the briefs and hear the oral arguments." Too often he obfuscated when asked about prior writings.

As the hearing progressed the Democrats saw that they were losing this battle. Committee Chairmen Joe Biden’s questioning had failed to reveal a chink in the defensive armor of Thomas. The Democrats were reduced to bringing in a ringer; an unknown women named Anita Hill. Her testimony elicited the intended, feigned outrage, fueled by coordinated efforts. However, Thomas, now justifiably outraged, struck back:
“This is a circus. It’s a national disgrace. And from my standpoint as a black American, as far as I’m concerned, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate, rather than hung from a tree.”
Thomas fought back and was confirmed by the narrowest of margins.
Miguel Estrada (2003) George Bush’s nominee to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, was widely regarded as a prospect for a future appointment to the Supreme Court. If Clarence Thomas was not black enough for the left, Estrada was not brown enough. There are few things the left hates more than a person of color becoming, strong, well educated, successful, and Republican. People who rise above and desert them must be destroyed, least others get the same ideas that achievement is possible without the governmental largess of the Democrats. Best to nip this Estrada fellow in the bud as soon as possible.
The day before the committee vote the New York Times editorialized:
“Mr. Estrada, now a lawyer in Washington, also had an opportunity to elaborate on his views, and assuage senators' concerns, at his confirmation hearing, but he failed to do so. When asked his opinion about important legal questions, he dodged.”
Let’s be clear regarding the hearings of Bork versus that of Estrada: Bork was rejected, because he was honest in his wholly defendable legal views, while Estrada was rejected for evasiveness and lack of clarity regarding his views.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Keep the above point in mind also as pertains to the future testimony of President Obama’s nominee: Sotomayor.
Regarding the ‘wise Latina’s’ testimony the NY Times stated:
“She strove to be as circumspect about her views as possible, while the Senate Judiciary Committee members played their preset roles as defenders and interrogators.”

Sotomayor was confirmed, as well as Elena Kagan, who when combined with Ginsberg form a solid, unabashed trio of extreme left ideologues. All three were accepted by Senate Republicans with a minimum level of resistance.
Obama will take the rare opportunity to nominate someone as a replacement for Scalia. Democrats will fight hard for the candidate. However, the rules need to be applied fairly and equally to both sides, but they never are. The real problem is the Republicans have yet to come to that realization.

THE good Samaritans who took onto their farm over 100 refugees displaced by this year’s xenophobic violence, now claim they have been threatened with murder by the same people they had set out to help.
Besides property being destroyed, the ­family who took in the immigrants have also been accused of not helping them to be ­relocated back home or to another country, driving a chasm between them.

Kind of reminds me of this:
Because they don’t have free wi-fi, a gang of African migrants in their tiny host town in Italy rioted, blocking streets, demonstrating and turning over garbage bins.
The refugees, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, have been in a villa in the Italian town of Ceranova, courtesy of the country’s taxpayers. Under Italian rules, they can not work, so they lounge about, spending their free time using Skype to call their families back home, Breitbart is reporting.
But it’s impossible to Skype without wi-fi, so they’re demanding faster service.

Limiting Muslim Migrants Draws Only Personal Attacks, Suggesting There Are No Rational Arguments Opposing The Idea

Once again, the Republican Party establishment -- presidential candidates, major office holders, large contributors, and paid consultants -- was caught flat-footed and out of touch. Who knew, after fifteen years of unabated Islamist terrorism all over the world, that large segments of the American public might question the prudence of continued substantial immigration from the Muslim world?
The political establishment’s condemnation of Trump’s proposal was instantaneous and predictably consisted of single phrase epithets, ad hominem and empty invective: “…prejudiced and divisive…” (Clinton), “… xenophobia and racist (Sanders), “…fascist…” (O’Malley), “… unhinged…” (Bush), “…offensive and outlandish…” (Rubio), “…outrageous divisiveness…” (Kasich), and the list could go on. Noticeably absent from the initial torrent of Republican vitriol was any substantive discussion of Trump’s actual proposal.

Trump’s proposal deserves serious and thorough public debate.
Islam is inarguably unique among the world’s major religions in continuing to produce a steady stream of ideologically motivated mass killers. Islamist acts of violence continue to produce slaughter among its own contending factions and among the adherents of every other major religion (and of no religion), and that violence, far from abating, seems to be increasing in lethality and reach. No sooner is one murderous Jihadist group apparently defeated (e.g., The Taliban, Al Qaeda) than others spring up (e.g., ISIS, Boko Haram). No other religious or ideological group is afflicted with anything remotely comparable to the cult of violence today emanating from Islam on every continent.

Saudi Arabia -- continue to fund the Salafist version of Islam all over the world, including in Europe and America, a theology whose Quranic fundamentalism and intolerance leads directly to Jihadi violence.

That Islam is beyond dispute the preeminent source of ideologically motivated terror in today’s world is beyond dispute.
[. . .]
Polls of Muslims in Western and majority Muslim countries consistently reveal numerically significant support for Islamic terrorism. The percentage of Muslim support for terrorism may be “low” among Western Muslim communities (as is the consistent headline by the Pew Research Center, many of whose reports are cited below); but, given the size of those communities (e.g., at least 5 million in France, about 2.5 million in America), those percentages translate into significant absolute numbers of Muslim sympathizers for terrorism within all Muslim communities.

In 2010 and 2011 the Pew Research Center [. . .] polled American Muslims and found that approximately 13% thought that under at least some circumstances acts of terrorism against civilians are justified. Assuming a U.S. Muslim population of approximately 2.5 million, that figure would translate into somewhat more than 300,000 American Muslims who, under some circumstances, support murderous attacks against civilians.

Pew reports that in 2010 up to 35% of French Muslims, 25% of Spanish Muslims and 24% of British Muslims expressed some level of support for suicide attacks against civilians under some circumstances.

In 2005 the British government leaked a report that concluded, [. . .] approximately 16,000 British Muslims were “willing or eager” to embrace violence in the effort to bring an end to “decadent and immoral” Western society.”

By Pew’s 2013 survey, at least 10,000,000 Turks to one degree or another support terrorism against civilians.
[. . .]
At least two other considerations not dealt with here bear on the wisdom of continued Muslim immigration: First, the degree to which actual terrorists, as opposed to mere sympathizers, are secreting themselves within the minimally vetted masses now moving from the Middle East to the West; and second, the intensity of the desire of large percentages of Muslims already living in the West, and even larger percentages of those who wish to come, to live under Sharia law, a system of Islamic law indisputably at variance with Western values of religious freedom, equality of the sexes, and freedom of expression. Both subjects would require separate articles, and both considerations would provide further support for Trump’s proposal.

Trump’s proposal deserves a thorough and intellectually honest public debate.

Those presidential candidates, Republican or Democrat, who dismiss that proposal with the usual invective drawn from the Left’s phrase book are signaling their lack of either the analytical ability or the courage to lead the West in its current struggle with militant Islam.
Once again, in his brash indifference to the rules imposed by America’s self-appointed betters, Trump has raised an important issue. Once again, whatever one thinks of him, the US electorate owes him a thank you note.

Personal Attacks On Trump Do Not Explain Why Ban On Muslim Immigration Is Unwarranted



And still no rational discussion by Democrats and Republicans who join in personal attacks on Trump. If what he says is so outrageous why not speak rationally citing laws, and or goals with which his ideas conflict? Trump has the gonads to raise the issue in public discourse. Others hide behind propaganda. Cambridge, MA City Council did the same when one of its members was accused of founding a Massachusetts chapter of an organization which the FBI designates as terror related. No one in the City Council wanted to discuss the issue. Cambridge City Councilors are always unable to discuss controversy without personal attacks, shutting down rational discussion.

Sunday morning on CNN's Fareed Zakaria, we witnessed the host and his guest panel slamming Donald Trump for Trump's alleged xenophobic anti-Muslim views, followed by a grand tear-jerker from a lovely Muslim woman trying to emigrate to the U.S. who is not being allowed to enter. She was portrayed as a victim of Donald Trump, who is not president and ordered no one to block a single Muslim's entry.



Not a single panelist Zakaria invited was American.
The prospective immigrant Fareed interviewed believed that she had a right under the U.S. Constitution, law, or some ambiguous universalist morality to enter America and live here because, she said, "I wanted a better life." Her reasoning means that about 5 billion human beings on this planet, all of whom want a better life, should be allowed to emigrate to Dearborn, Michigan.

The prevailing media "story" that Trump proposed a religious test to stall the Islamic invasion is a fabrication.
There is an invasion ongoing right now. That is no spin.
[. . .]



We all recognize there are desperate people needing a place to settle. We all feel for the utter misery and hell that is war, and we understand that many of these migrants are good and peaceful people. We also know, but apparently refuse to acknowledge, the spin that blocks out the fact that there is a vast empty, unoccupied land in the Middle East, ready but not willing, to take in their own.

They continue not to report on, nor to rescue, Christians from the same areas of the Mideast who are being persecuted, tortured, and murdered by associates, friends, and families of the same Muslims migrating to Europe and to the Americas.
What we do get from Obama's religious test are dead Christians. And, shortly, more dead Americans.

White House Out Of Ideas, Calls Dissenters, Crazies




The president was elected as the great black hope. He brought his degrees from Columbia University and from Harvard Law School. No one seems to know him from Columbia. One alumni who says he was a classmate of Obama works in Las Vegas. He reports that Obama was a militant Muslim when he was at Columbia. At Harvard he was president of the Law Review without writing or publishing any legal treatise. He brought promises of lowering the oceans. He was going to heal the racial divide and bring hope and change to the nation. What he brought was division. Lies. Rhetoric. Speeches with nothing behind them. Pure hot air. He began calling anyone who disagreed with him racists. Then he added they were bitter clingers to religion and guns. He added they were haters. Now into his penultimate year in office he is calling people who disagree with him the crazies. That is an improvement? He is slandering persons with disabilities as well as making clear his belief that crazy people are not to be believed, and that no one should pay any attention to them. He shows more and more of his bigotry as the more he speaks with his support teleprompter.

Just back from his annual summer vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, President Barack Obama has returned to disparaging his political adversaries and anyone who happens to disagree with him on policy.



According to a report in Politico, the president has taken to describing opponents of the hugely controversial Iran deal as “crazies.” The so-called “crazies” now include a majority of members of the House and Senate, a large chunk of the American electorate according to opinion polls, and the government of Israel, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
It is significant that several leading figures in the president’s own party have declared their opposition to the Iran deal, including Charles Schumer, the senior senator for New York, and Eliot Engel, the ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Relations Committee from New York.

If his Republican opponents will not take down Donald Trump, Fox News will not only show them how it is done. Fox News will do the job for them.
That is the message that came out loud and clear from last Thursday’s debate in Cleveland, which was viewed by the largest cable audience ever to watch a political event — 24 million Americans.

What was wrong here was that it was not his Republican rivals raising these issues or taking on Trump. It was the Fox News “moderators” of what was supposed to be a candidates’ debate. They came into the arena to do to Trump what his GOP rivals have been too timid or reluctant to do.
Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly came with their oppo research done and attack questions prepared — to sack Trump in the end zone and send him to the locker room on a stretcher.

Yet, what is now clear is that the Republican establishment wants Trump out of this race, and, frustrated at his continuing strong support, is less and less willing to wait for him to implode.

McCain sparked Trump’s temper last week when the senator said the businessman’s inflammatory remarks about Mexican immigrants had brought out the “crazies.” McCain said Tuesday he would no longer respond to Trump’s comments.
Graham, a McCain friend and one of the 16 notable Republicans running for the presidential nomination, betrayed the growing exasperation and anger of many in the party when he appeared earlier on “CBS This Morning.”
“Don’t be a jackass,” Graham said. “Run for president. But don’t be the world’s biggest jackass.”
He said Trump had “crossed the line with the American people” and predicted this would be “the beginning of the end with Donald Trump.”

Still, many of Trump’s backers in early-voting states argue the response to his comments about McCain has been overblown.
“I think it’s going to improve his viability, to be honest with you,” said Lou Gargiulo, one of Trump’s county chairmen in New Hampshire. “The more Mr. Trump is being beaten on by people, obviously the better his polling numbers are.”

In all of Western Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand combined, there have been eight reported births to girls aged 10 or younger. Seven of the eight involved Third World immigrants.

According to North Carolinians for Immigration Reform and Enforcement, illegal immigrants commit hundreds of sex crimes against children in that state every month — 350 in the month of April 2014, 299 in May, and more than 400 sex crimes against children in August and September.
More than 90 percent of the perpetrators are Hispanic. I didn’t know there were that many Hispanics in North Carolina!

Republicans Act More Like Democrats Every Day




Santorum makes personal attacks and speaks in generalities instead of answering Trump's criticism. People are sick of propaganda, what ordinary voters dislike and want to end. What Trump says is true. Curious that candidates appeal to wealthy brothers, instead of voters and taxpayers. Isn't that the problem in the White House and Congress, an elite making policy contrary to what voters want? If politicians focused on building a wall to keep out unscreened immigrants they would show concern for citizens instead of themselves.

NBC indicates it does not support the U.S. Constitution. The purpose of the First Amendment, i.e., the concept of free speech is to protect speech you hate. NBC interprets the idea as protecting speech they love and censoring speech they do not like. Bad enough for an individual, but this is one of six major broadcast corporations which used to keep Americans and others informed. Now they mislead and confuse. Shameful.

Glad to see that U.S. Rep. Capuano uses personal attacks to help inform voters in his district. Just what is needed in a one party state. Keeping voters and taxpayers dumbed down helps incumbents keep their jobs.

It is perplexing that journalists who ridicule billionaires, speak for everyone else. How do they know what others think? Atkins says "Few would argue that Trump is anything but a fringe candidate. It pains me to even waste good newspaper ink writing about him." Really? How does she know what Trump thinks? Instead of answering claims about criminals entering the United States committing crimes Americans won't commit, journalists and politicians join in personal attacks. Immigration is only one issue which these two powerful groups refuse to discuss facts and policy so that voters and taxpayers can make responsible decisions to keep themselves safe. Using polling numbers this early is lame at best. In 2013 the NYC mayoral election was won by about 20 percent of eligible voters. The issue is a dumbed down population which is a product of misguided journalists who use personal attacks (like this one) and cute talk instead of factual arguments to keep voters informed.

Still, it seems Trump honestly thinks he speaks for a large swath of Americans yearning for a candidate who speaks truth to power and who won’t let political correctness stand in the way. Who he actually speaks to is a tiny segment of the populace who mistakes bigoted drivel for frankness and egotism for authority. Remember, he was the king of the anti-Obama birther movement. Everything about him, including his professed business acumen and even his hairstyle, is artificially inflated for effect.

“They were people who didn’t like each other who crossed paths,” said police Capt. Alfredo Andres at a meeting with neighborhood residents and police. “They, for lack of better terms, had a vendetta against each other.”
Kenneth Lamour, 18, was shot dead Feb. 11 at 10:33 a.m. while shoveling snow with a work crew through the nonprofit group Roca, which helped troubled youths and former inmates.
Josiah Zachery, 18, was arrested near the scene after firing at a cop and running, police said. He has been arraigned on murder charges for the shooting. Police said they recovered a handgun they say he tossed as he ran, before they found him with a shovel pretending to be working. Yesterday, Donte Henley, 24, from South Boston, was also arrested and charged with murder.
“We had a bloody homicide a stone’s throw away from our houses,” said a resident who asked not to be named, one of a handful of people who attended the meeting. “I’m looking for a little more assurance than it won’t happen again.”

Cops are looking for the stocky crackpot who assaulted at least four people in Manhattan early Wednesday — including three victims who were slashed with a boxcutter.
The bushwhacking binge began at around 1:20 a.m. when the assailant got on a northbound No. 4 train at the Broadway-Lafayette station, punched a man and grazed him in the face with a boxcutter, according to police.
The thug and victim got off a stop later at the Union Square station, where the crazed man slapped a 20-year-old woman in the face, cops said.
The madman’s angry spree continued above ground, when he walked to a store in Union Square and asked a homeless man for a couple of dollars. The man refused and was slashed with a boxcutter.

Big-city police departments and union leaders around the country are warning the rank and file to wear bulletproof vests and avoid making inflammatory posts on social media in the days after a man ambushed two officers and shot them to death inside their patrol car.

After the officers’ killings, a union-generated message at the 35,000-officer NYPD warned officers that they should respond to every radio call with two cars — “no matter what the opinion of the patrol supervisor” — and not make arrests “unless absolutely necessary.” The president of the detectives union told members in a letter to work in threes when out on the street, wear bulletproof vests and keep aware of their surroundings.
Another directive warned officers in Newark, New Jersey, not to patrol alone and to avoid people looking for confrontations. At the same time, a memo from an NYPD chief asked officers to limit their comments “via all venues, including social media, to expressions of sorrow and condolence.”
