Privileged Harvard Law School Students End Civil Rights Action, Resume Pursuit of Corporate Positions

How many of these dedicated, altruistic, morally superior civil rights activists will reject those high paying corporate associate positions, when they leave Belinda Hall and the racist, oppressive, sexist, homophobic and Islamophobic law school community behind?

After posting the above comment on the Harvard Crimson site, one of the many thoughtful young people who harass me warned, "You better stop doing that. They want to kill you." Really? A group of privileged black students at Harvard Law School whine non stop about white oppression. They demand punishing white people who did them no harm, and demand special privileges, more money and more power as payment for harms they did not suffer. They want to kill a citizen for exercising a constitutionally guaranteed right, i.e. criticizing  misguided young lawyers. Does this indicate how flawed the current higher education system is? Do they really believe that all white people are wealthy and powerful? Do they really believe that all black people are poor and weak? Do they really believe they are the only group chosen to express their demands for better living? Do they believe they are granted special privileges to silence any differing opinions, by disrupting law abiding professors at their own law school who want to speak? Like the Republican Party, they probably do not understand why Donald Trump is so popular and will be the next President.

Trump More Like Citizen Kane, Than Lonesome Rhodes

[From article]
Marc Fisher’s Washington Post comparison of Donald Trump to 1957s A Face in the Crowd fictional movie character Larry “Lonesome” Rhodes, an anti-hero played brilliantly by Andy Griffith, is a superficial one at best.
[. . .]
Because Lonesome Rhodes wasn't the genuine article, comparing Trump to him reveals The Washington Post's essay is in actuality a propagandist smear piece. In truth, Lonesome Rhodes is much more like modern day Democrats: snake-oil salesmen who depend on the ignorance [. . .] of MSM-fed low information voters.
[. . .]
Is Mr. Trump presidential material? Only time will tell, but it is overtly cynical to compare The Donald to Lonesome Rhodes. An apt comparison is actually cinematic classic Citizen Kane, a man whose vast wealth fueled an even bigger ego, an obsessive need for public adoration and, like Trump, a birthright entitlement to high elective office.

Racism Works For Homosexuals, College Administrators, Whoever Seeks Money and Power

[From article]
Yale is not a hotbed of racism. Neither is Dartmouth. Neither is Columbia. Neither is Princeton. No reasonable person of color on any of these campuses really believes that he suffers interminable racial discrimination sanctioned by such institutions. The best inducement to cathartic rage the Ivy Leaguers can find is strips of black electric tape on some old portraits (unclear whether it's a hoax)
[. . .]
there is not a climate of bigotry poisoning the air at the University of Missouri. That's where a gay black student council president and a hunger striker with a multi-millionaire father teamed up to get a few people fired and a whole country obsessed with their campus until Paris fell apart on international TV. The high point of the Mizzou Affair was of course a swastika traced in ostensible human excrement, which for some reason the press failed to recognize as likely anti-Jewish, not anti-black.
[. . .]
It is usually not students, but rather provocateurs off campus or nestled in the administration who are behind the sit-ins, snap-fests, marches, and mass confessionals. The easiest way to prove this is by looking at the lists of demands. There is invariably a lot of bizarre attention paid to the misdeeds of some administrative position and calls for a reorganization of the bureaucratic leadership. "Fire the vice provost and promote the associate director." Students don't write stuff like that.
[. . .]

the legal boilerplate is fitted toward catchphrases to push all the right buttons at the Office of Civil Rights: "hostile learning environment," "inclusivity," "free of intimidation," "safe spaces," "micro-aggressions," and "cultural competency." [. . .] These are not words that sophomores and juniors in college, even at Princeton, come up with, organically. Somewhere behind the scenes, diversity consultants, lawyers, and organizers are spoon-feeding the terminology to them and hoping they don't screw up in front of a bullhorn somewhere.
And of course, somewhere in the demands, the gays and the transgenders magically appear.
[. . .]
To exploit the dreams of black people is older than the cotton gin. [. . .] But it is fully within the pattern of common behavior for protest hustlers to insult the very people they claim to champion.
[. . .]
making sure that women with penises can shower next to women with vaginas, expanding the gay and lesbian pride center, and hiring more overpaid busybodies to investigate bias incidents and keep secret files on alleged bigots – none of this will change the angst and suffering of poor black communities across America.
So why is it all happening?
So [college administrators] partner up with politicians, organizers, grant administrators, rabble-rousers, and garden-variety scum to draw up plans for lots of street distractions. Rile up the commoners. Make it about some racial issue that will get everybody furious and won't go anywhere or change anything. Fake a hate crime if you have to.

Somalian Muslims Gaining Influence in Minnesota

[From article]
Andrew Lugar, U.S. Attorney for Minnesota, speaking at an FBI news conference stated: "To be clear. We have a terror-recruiting problem in Minnesota…Parents and loved ones should know that there is not one master recruiter organizing in the Somali community locally…the person radicalizing your son, your brother, your friend, may not be a stranger. It may be their best friend right here in town.”
[. . .]
Meanwhile, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges jumped into the fray on the one year anniversary of the outreach pilot program: "Minneapolis' Somali community is a tremendous asset to our city.” (Mayor Hodges is a full blown dhimmi as you can see in the photo below, wearing a hijab to a meeting with members of the Somali community.)

Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges, In Muslim Garb

[. . .]
Per National Review, investigations connected 21 Minneapolis Somalis-turned-jihadists with local mosques -- mosques that claimed to have a “zero tolerance policy toward extremism.” (I guess it all depends what your definition of “extremism” is. Not to mention the taqiyya factor.)
The National Review article continued: “The problem likely resides in Somali culture, particularly as it has found expression in America. Somali cashiers at Minneapolis Targets have refused to check out pork products. Somali cab drivers at the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport have refused to transport passengers with dogs or with alcohol. And these are not ‘radicals.’…most American Somalis prefer, when it comes to the U.S. of A., to have one foot in and one out….”

Northeast Loses Political Power Due To Population Loss

[From article]
While the states from Pennsylvania to Maine had 141 House members in 1950, they are down to 85 today, a drop of some 40 percent.
California and Texas combined have more House representatives..
“This result is one of the most dramatic demographic shifts in American history. This migration is shifting the power center of America right before our very eyes. The movement isn’t random or even about weather or resources. Economic freedom is the magnet and states ignore this force at their own peril,” said the report.

Israel's Real Crime

[From article]
Israel's crime against them is very rare, so rare it doesn't even have a name, so I will invent one: I'll call it paradigmocide, destroying the intellectual basis for cherished beliefs that are empirically wrong. One well-known incident of this crime was some four hundred years ago when Galileo committed it against the Catholic Church by producing evidence for a heliocentric solar system.
Kill a man's child, rape his wife, drown his dog; many men can forgive these offenses. Present him with evidence that his most deeply-held beliefs are wrong, and that he cannot forgive.
[. . .]
Since the Left seeks power and believes it is entitled to that power because of its superior intellect, knowledge, wisdom, and morality -- think of them as the mirror image of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz
[. . .]
religious groups chose to see Israel's very existence as a sin, rather than consider that their theology might be wrong.
[. . .]
The problem starts in academia, where social scientists seek to ingratiate themselves with the Left because the Left presents itself as more intelligent and well-informed, which is how academics regard themselves,
[. . .]
And they know they're wrong, even if they won't admit it. If they thought they were right, they would make the case using reasoned arguments and supportable facts.
[. . .]
A key consideration is that if you reject the idea that self-appointed elites are entitled to rule, the only basis for legitimate power remaining is consent of the governed, a principle so central to the American creed that it appears in the Declaration of Independence. This may be why those segments of the American people who believe in this ideal, and similarly-minded people around the world, invariably support Israel. Israel is a symbol of the principle that the consent of the governed is the only legitimate basis for holding power and is thus anathema to members of elites who see themselves entitled to rule without accountability.

EMP Worst Disaster Nightmare

[From article]
A report from Lloyds emerging risk group has reviewed the evidence. They find that a Carrington-level geomagnetic storm is almost inevitable. There predict there will be one about every 150 years.
This poses a threat to regions dependent on electricity. Such storms could cause outages lasting from two weeks to two years. The main problem is the availability of spare transformers.
When hurricane Sandy hit New York in 2012, the main reason power could not be restored on lower Manhattan – despite the obvious wealth of the place – was that ordering replacement transformers takes months.
Sandy's worst effects were in a single location. In the case of a big storm, replacements would be needed in hundreds of locations at the same time. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2721925/Blackouts-electrical-failure-travel-chaos-Electromagnetic-pulses-cost-trillions-affect-millions-scientist-warns.html

Blackouts, electrical failure and travel chaos: Electromagnetic pulses could cost trillions and affect millions, scientist warns
Claim by Oxford University's Dr Anders Sandberg in The Conversation
Solar storms and nuclear weapons can create electromagnetic pulses
Geomagnetic storms, for instance, can cause power outages lasting years
They destroy satellites, disrupt GPS and make parts of infrastructure fail
Just as worrying is use of electromagnetic pulses created by weapons
This is a real threat, discovered the hard way in 1962, when a Pacific nuclear test caused electrical damage 870 miles (1,400km) away in Hawaii

Cambridge City Council Wants More Decision-making Power Over Development

Concerned Cambridge Citizens

One missing element of this discussion is a struggle for power. The Cambridge City Council is mostly a cosmetic organization. They have the statutory power under the Plan E system of local government to hire a city manager and to approve curb cuts. But they seem to want some other decison-making power in order to improve their self esteem. The Planning Board says this plan would only inject more politics into the approval process. The Planning Board does little planning. It is more of an approval board.

[From article]
"The political theater is no place to have a thoughtful, careful discussion about whether something is within the boundaries of the law," said Planning Board member Steven Winter.

Liberals Ignore Human Nature Worship of Power

[From article]
Liberals do not think about the real meat of political philosophy, which is not to design a perfect political system with perfect justice, but to deal with the real problem: rulers and their appetite for power. Liberals worry instead about how to flush out the racists, sexists, and homophobes that are lurking in the woods waiting their chance to turn back the clock on glorious progressive achievements. Their concern is that the ruling class of liberals doesn't have enough power to do good.
[. . .]
Liberals are convinced that they represent a noble cause of the evolved and the educated called by History to right the wrongs of the wretched and the marginalized of the Earth.
[. . .]
That's why I don't think that our all-American liberals have really thought through their sophomoric ideas about striking a “balance between free speech in a democracy and protection against racial abuse in a multicultural society” and the use of the IRS to punish their enemies. One repression leads with iron logic to the next, and each injustice provokes its own head of rebellion. At some point, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), you and your fellow House Democrats may have to embarrass yourselves and walk back your partisan insouciance, and admit that your opponents were right about the IRS and True the Vote.

Aphorisms Rule

Some wonderful political quotes on this page, e.g.,

Will Durant "The political machine triumphs because it is a united minority acting against a divided majority." Does this apply to the successes of the African American Lobby and the Homosexual Lobby?

Obama's Harvard Mentor

Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree is more than just an expert on race and politics. He is the ultimate authority on all issues of race at Harvard University and in Cambridge MA. He is the decider. Not expressly stated is what appears to be his main paradigm. Black Americans deserve priority over White Americans for high level jobs, and admission to elite universities. That the Black Americans who get these privileges are members of the upper class does not matter. That those who suffer under such policies are poor and had nothing to do with racism or slavery does not matter. It is simply a power and money grab by Black Americans using racism as the club and the excuse. Anyone who thinks that Black Americans are any different than White Americans, being greedy, mendacious and power hungry, are terribly misguided. It is all about money and power just as it is for White upper class, ruling class members. Even Black politicians who blindly supported Obama are beginning to wake up from their comas.

Power and Lying

How does this apply to Obama and the rest of the politicians?
[From article]
“Having power buffered their system from the stress of telling a lie,”[. . .]
“We avoid lying because it costs you,” she says. “If a person's system isn’t punished by the act of telling a lie, everything we know about psychology suggests that it increases the likelihood of it happening again.”
