One of the guns used by terrorists to shoot up Paris on November 13 of last year originated in Phoenix,, AZ and was sold illegally as part of the Fast and Furious gun walking operation.
And ATF agents did their best to cover up that information.



Judicial Watch:
A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.
The investigative follow up of the Paris weapon consisted of tracking a paper trail using a 4473 form, which documents a gun’s ownership history by, among other things, using serial numbers. The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations—for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic—but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch.



It’s not clear if the agency, which is responsible for cracking down on the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, did this because the individual was involved in the Fast and Furious gun-running scheme. An ATF spokesman, Corey Ray, at the agency’s Washington D.C. headquarters told Judicial Watch that “no firearms used in the Paris attacks have been traced” by the agency. When asked about the ROI report linking the weapon used in Paris to Phoenix, Ray said “I’m not familiar with the report you’re referencing.” Judicial Watch also tried contacting the Phoenix ATF office, but multiple calls were not returned.



The only language these people understand is the language of lawsuits. You have to pry information from them using the federal courts, who have been more than cooperative in getting government to open up and disclose their wrongdoing. In this case, leaks from within the law enforcement community aided Judicial Watch in their investigation. If the documents still exist that confirm this info, they were likely destroyed long ago with other Fast and Furious docs.
I'm sure the French government would be very interested in following up on this investigation. But if the denial by ATF is any indication, the stonewall will continue and French intelligence will be denied access to any helpful information.

A police captain’s son accused of plotting an attack on a college campus to support the Islamic State group was indicted Thursday on terrorism charges.
A federal grand jury indicted Alexander Ciccolo on one count each of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization and attempting to use weapons of mass destruction. Those charges were added to a pending indictment charging Ciccolo with being a convicted person in possession of firearms and stabbing a nurse with a pen during a jail intake process.
Ciccolo was arrested last July in a plot to detonate homemade bombs similar to the pressure cooker bombs used in the deadly 2013 Boston Marathon attack. Twin bombs placed near the marathon finish line killed three people and injured more than 260 others.
Ciccolo’s lawyer, David Hoose, declined to comment on the new charges Thursday.
Boston police Capt. Robert Ciccolo alerted the FBI after his son, who’s 23, said he wanted to join the Islamic State group. Alexander Ciccolo was arrested after he received four guns he ordered from a person cooperating with authorities.
During a detention hearing after his arrest last year, prosecutors said he received four guns from a person cooperating with members of the Western Massachusetts Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Prosecutors say Ciccolo had spoken with the cooperating witness in recorded conversations about his plans to commit acts of terrorism inspired by the Islamic State, including setting off improvised pressure cookers filled with black powder, nails, ball bearings and glass in places where large crowds gather, such as college cafeterias. They also said Ciccolo was seen buying a pressure cooker similar to those used in the marathon bombings the day before his arrest.

Gunmen dressed in dark suits have carried out a terror attack in Tel Aviv leaving at least four people dead.
Around six other people were wounded in the shocking shooting incident, which took place at the Max Brenner restaurant in the centre of the Israeli city.
One person, believed to be a four-year-old girl, was in critical condition, with Israeli police describing the shooting as an apparent attack aimed against Israelis.
Officials have confirmed that two gunmen were involved, with one attacker was captured while the other was reportedly wounded.
'The terrorists who carried out the attack... are cousins from the Hebron district,' police 

spokeswoman Luba Samri said in a statement.
Photographs from the scene have reportedly revealed the gunmen may have used homemade machine guns, known as a Carl Gustav gun.
Israeli police are understood to be looking for a third suspect, who is believed to have fled the scene.
Police said the wounded included those sitting at a coffee shop in the complex. The assailants' weapons had been retrieved by officers, they said.
The incident occurred in an area of trendy cafes and restaurants very close to the central military headquarters and Defence Ministry compound.
The attack was the first following in lull after almost daily street attacks by Palestinians against Israelis which began in October and lasted several months.
Spokeswoman Luba Samri said shooting was reported in two locations close to the popular open-air Sharona market.
Another spokeswoman, Meirav Lapidot, said initial reports showed there were 'at least two terrorists'. She said both were 'neutralised', which can mean either killed or detained.

The city however said in a statement it was increasing security at schools and municipal buildings.
Violence since October has killed at least 207 Palestinians, 28 Israelis, two Americans, an Eritrean and a Sudanese.
Most of the Palestinians killed were carrying out knife, gun or car-ramming attacks, according to Israeli authorities.
Others were killed in clashes or by Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip.

Responsibility for that tweet might lie with AFP, whose breaking report, which Yahoo News linked to, used similar language. But while AFP has since updated its reporting to note that the shooting occurred at "a Tel Aviv bar and restaurant complex," Yahoo News seems to be sticking with the "Defense Ministry" spin. A subsequent tweet by the Yahoo account again described the attack as being "near Israel's defense ministry."

This time, though, Yahoo News did not link to an article that mentioned the defense ministry. Instead, it referred to an AP article correctly describing an attack "near a popular open-air market." Why, then, does Yahoo News continue suggest to its Twitter followers that the terrorists were targeting anything other than Israeli civilians?
It can always get worse, though. Russia Today initially claimed it the gunmen were Jewish:

Four people were killed and several others wounded in a coordinated terrorist assault on Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market Wednesday evening, in one of the deadliest attacks in the city since Palestinian violence erupted last October.
Tel Aviv Police head Asst.-Ch. Moshe Edri called the shooting a “serious terrorist attack,” saying that two terrorists came to the market and opened fire randomly at civilians. Eyewitnesses said that the terrorists were disguised as religious Jews and wore kippot.
Edri said the police did not have warnings of a terrorist attack at the site. He said police have increased deployments in the city but that school would be open on Thursday and people can keep their normal routine, though he also implored the public to exercise caution and to report suspicious persons.

Israel Pays Tribute To Fallen Soldiers And Terror Victims

The siren sounded at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, calling Israelis to stand in silence and remember. This Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism, Yom HaZikaron, is a time when Jewish citizens mourn for their loved ones across the land.
One poignant ceremony took place at the open plaza in front of the Jewish Agency. Executive Chairman Natan Sharansky lit a torch for the 23,447 soldiers and more than 2,500 Israeli citizens who have lost their lives to war and terror.
One of those who spoke at the solemn ceremony was 16 year old Leah Nahari, part of a Yemenite family living in Israel. Leah lost her father, Moshe, who was murdered in a 2008 anti-Semitic attack in Yemen. Leah was only nine years old at the time. She shared her heart about what it was like to lose her father at such a young age.
“My eight siblings and I were born and raised in the Jewish tradition in the city of Raydah in Yemen. My father was dedicated to his family and his community and taught us to treat others with kindness and to love the Torah. One bright day, he went out to shop for Shabbat and never returned. A stranger accosted my father and demanded that he convert to Islam and abandon his Jewish faith. My father refused.”
At that point the man pulled out a gun and shot Leah’s father several times. After her father was murdered, Leah’s family received threats from the gunman’s family. Hatred of Jews increased in Yemen.



“Our family as I knew it no longer existed. Our lives were shattered and full of fear.”
In 2009, Leah and three of her siblings fled to Israel with the assistance of the Jewish Agency. In 2012, Leah’s mother and other siblings immigrated to Israel to build a new life in the Jewish homeland. Leah is happy as her brother is getting married soon and the family has managed to adapt well to Israeli society, despite the loss of Moshe.
More than 200 Jews around the world have lost their lives to anti-Semitic attacks since Israel’s establishment in 1948. Laying a wreath in memory of the victims, Sharansky declared, “The war on our right to be a free people in our land has no borders. We have been attacked in France, in Copenhagen, and in Argentina.

Sharansky spoke about how the Jewish Agency continues to assist Jews who want to start a new life in Israel. The last remnant of 19 Jews from Raydah immigrated to Israel this year, along with 30,000 other Jews from around the world.
This Remembrance Day in Israel is a necessary “time out” for Israeli society, where respect for those who have given their lives is part of the memories that most families share. In a small country like this one, every person knows someone who died in either a war or a terrorist attack. Yet, Israelis are some of the happiest and most content citizens in the world.
As the sun sets over the land, Jewish citizens prepare to dance in the streets and enjoy fireworks in celebration of Israel’s 68th birthday. While it is not easy, Israeli Jews manage to go from sadness to joy, remembering the words in Psalm 30:11: “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.”

How safe, though, had we really kept Americans? For all the effort and expense, the number of jihadists neutralized was negligible compared to the overall threat. The attacks kept coming, as one might expect when one side detonates bombs and the other responds with subpoenas. As the years passed, the tally of casualties far outstripped that of convicted terrorists. When 9/11 finally happened, killing nearly 3,000 of our fellow Americans, al-Qaeda credited none other than the Blind Sheikh with issuing the fatwa — the sharia edict — that authorized the attack. We had imprisoned him, but we had not stopped him.

American counterterrorism, even seven years after 9/11 (and fully 15 years after the jihadists declared war by bombing the World Trade Center), had bored its head ever deeper in the sand. It consciously avoided the central truths driving the terrorist threat against the United States. The most significant of these is that violent jihadism is the inexorable result of the vibrance in Islam of sharia supremacism — a scripturally-rooted summons to Muslims to strive for conquest over infidels until Allah’s law (sharia) is established everywhere on earth.

The conquest for which it strives, moreover, is not necessarily to be achieved by violence. Sharia supremacism is, nevertheless, a mainstream interpretation of Islam. Inevitably, it leads some believers to carry out jihadist violence, and an even greater number of believers to support the jihadists’ objectives, if not their methods.

Since 1993, the bipartisan American ruling class, throughout administrations of both parties, has refused to acknowledge, much less grapple with, this central truth of the threat we face. It has insisted, against fact and reason, that Islam is a monolithic “religion of peace,” and therefore that there can be no causal connection between Islamic doctrine and terrorism committed by Muslims. It has fraudulently maintained that jihadist violence is not jihadist at all [. . .] Terrorist attacks must be airbrushed into “violent extremism,” shorn of any ideological component — as if the killing were wanton, not purposeful. The fact that the attacks are so ubiquitously committed by Muslims (who explicitly cite scriptural chapter and verse to justify themselves), is to be ignored — as if all religions and ideologies were equally prone to inspire mass-murder attacks if believed too fervently.

For decades, the House of Saud has played a double game with the West: 1) feigning moderation while promoting and internally enforcing this repressive fundamentalism, which brutally discriminates against women, non-Muslims, and Muslim minorities; 2) posturing as a staunch counterterrorism ally while exporting their ideology

In Sarasota, Fla., Abdulazziz al-Hijji, a well-connected Saudi oil executive, abandoned his home with his wife, Arnoud, and their small children in August 2001, just weeks before the attacks. They fled to Saudi Arabia. The departure was obviously abrupt: The family left behind three cars, furniture, jewelry, food, etc.

A 2002 report pried from the FBI indicates that a member of the al-Hijji family attended Huffman Aviation, the same Venice, Fla., flight school as the 9/11 hijacker-pilots who attacked the Twin Towers, Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi. (A third hijacker, Ziad Jarrah, who piloted the plane that heroic passengers forced to crash in Pennsylvania, trained at a flight school a short distance away.) According to published reports, Escondito Circle security records indicate that cars connected to the hijackers were seen at the al-Hijji home.

Upon entering the United States, [Saudi hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Midhar] frequented the King Fahd mosque in Los Angeles, whose sharia supremacist imam, Fahad al-Thumairi, just happened to be an accredited diplomat at the nearby Saudi consulate.

Bayoumi is a native Saudi who worked for years in the Kingdom’s defense ministry before moving to the U.S. in 1994. As I’ve outlined here, Awlaki was thus placed under arrest when he arrived at JFK International Airport in New York on October 10, 2002, on a flight from Riyadh. Remarkably, the Justice Department intervened to direct that he be un-arrested and allowed to enter freely . . . in the company of the Saudi government representative who was conveniently on hand to assist him. For years, our government implausibly claimed that the arrest warrant had been vacated because the case was weak. Subsequently, FBI and Justice Department officials fessed up to Congress that the government knew Awlaki was returning to the United States ahead of time, and that the warrant for his arrest had not been vacated when he arrived — the decision was mysteriously made to allow him to go free, in the custody of his Saudi handler.

In 1972, in cooperation with the Saudi government, the Muslim Brotherhood established the World Assembly of Muslim Youth in Riyadh. WAMY’s stated purpose was to “arm the Muslim youth with full confidence in the supremacy of the Islamic system over other systems.” It grew into the world’s largest Muslim youth organization, operating in over 60 countries. As I outlined in The Grand Jihad, WAMY is intolerant of non-Muslims, supportive of violent jihad, and boldly anti-Semitic. It has been banned in Pakistan, where it shared office space with the Benevolence International Fund, an al-Qaeda charitable front founded by Osama bin Laden’s brother-in-law, Mohammed Jamal Khalifa. WAMY has also been accused by the governments of India and the Philippines of abetting terrorism.

On the night before the 9/11 attacks, those two hijackers, joined by a third, Midhar, checked into the Marriott Residence Inn near Dulles Airport. That same day, Saleh Hussayen, a Saudi government official then touring the U.S. offices of WAMY and other Saudi concerns, left a different hotel in which he was staying and, for reasons that have never been explained, checked into the very same Residence Inn. Coincidence? Well, after the three hijackers attacked the Pentagon, the FBI tried to interview Hussayen. But, as an FBI agent later testified, Hussayen “feigned a seizure, prompting the agents to take him to a hospital, where the attending physicians found nothing wrong with him.” Though the agent wanted Hussayen to be barred from fleeing the U.S. until she could conduct the interview, higher-ups rebuffed her recommendation. Hussayen was allowed to return to Saudi Arabia.

Abdullah Awad bin Laden and his brother Omar, who shared a Falls Church home, were among several prominent Saudis — including several other bin Laden family members — whom our government permitted to be whisked out of the United States in the hectic days immediately following 9/11. At the time they scurried out, before anything resembling a competent investigation of potential terror ties could have been carried out, the skies were still closed to American travelers.

Washington’s bipartisan insistence that the Saudi regime is a vital counterterrorism ally of the United States is a delusional byproduct of its willful blindness to sharia supremacism — the ideological driver of violent jihadism and the oil-rich kingdom’s most consequential export. On April 18 Abd al-Hamid Abu Spour, a 19 year old Palestinian Arab, destroyed two public transportation buses in Jerusalem. There were numerous injuries, two of whom remain hospitalized, one with severe burns. This was the first bus attack during the 7+ month long intifada being waged against Israelis, which has resulted in at least 34 deaths to date.
The one person killed in the attack was the perpetrator himself. All Palestinian factions welcomed the attack. In the eyes of many Muslims, dying while committing a terror attack means Abu Spour is a “shahid,” or martyr for Allah.

On Monday, a week after the attack, a gathering took place at the UNRWA refugee camp in Aida, near Bethlehem. The location has a huge monument of a lock and key, symbolizing the defiant goal that the Palestinian Arabs will one day root out the Jews and take over the land they believe belongs to them.
The “festivities of the martyrs” event took place under the aegis of UNRWA (United Nations Relief Works Agency). To think the official body representing the world’s community of nations is celebrating terrorism is bad enough. However, that is not the worst of it. The number 1 financial donor to UNRWA is the US, by far. The EU and UK are #2 and #3 in financial support. Their combined total represents over 50% of UNRWA’s donor support.

One might think a public event honoring terrorism sponsored by a branch of the United Nations would be widely covered by the media. Yet, when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict most of the world’s media seems to come under a spell of double standard. The abnormal becomes normal, the unacceptable turns into acceptable, and the victim is often seen as the bully.
There was virtually no media coverage of this publically supported terrorist-honoring event.

Regarding media coverage, Bedein sent out a press release to over 600 journalists throughout Israel, informing them of the UNRWA event honoring the terrorist. Incredibly he received a reply from only one. This yawn by the media is yet another disturbing reminder of the double standard Israel receives from most of the world.

The US provides the Palestinian Authority over $400 million annually. Concern about the Palestinian educational system is growing in Congress.
US taxpayers have an opportunity to send a strong message opposing their tax money being used to honor terrorists who target innocent citizens of America’s strongest ally in the Middle East. They can contact the members of the Middle East Subcommittee in the House of Representatives, as well as the Near East Subcommittee in the Senate.
There is no moral equivalence between terror and justice. It’s high time the UN stop making an exception when it comes to Israel.

If you think Obama’s actions in Cuba showed some sort of disinterest in terrorism, or disrespect for the victims, you might be right. It is an inconvenient subject for Obama. It forces him to again have to try to differentiate terrorists and minimize their numbers from all others who might be in the camp of the unmentionable and much larger group -- radical Islamists, and almost alone describe the bad guys as ISIL rather than ISIS.
For Obama,there are good victims of terrorism, and bad victims of terrorism. Annika Hernroth-Rothstein writes:
If the Brussels bombers had been Palestinian, committing their murders in Israel, there ‎would probably have been a statement issued from the White House; something about ‎‎"both sides needing to show restraint" before adding that "all terrorism is horrendous." ‎(snip)
The victims of Islamic terror are not given any of the president's time because they do not fit his ‎overall plan. The same is true for the jailed freedom fighters in Cuba or the Iranian poets who have been ‎condemned to death. These are not good victims because they were not killed or jailed at ‎the hands of Israel or America. They were not persecuted by the West, so Obama cannot ‎afford to let them matter. ‎
By choosing to be an ideologue rather than a leader, Obama is dividing the ‎world into good and bad victims, the deserving and undeserving, and the ramifications of this choice will resonate long after someone else takes over at the White House. The soon-to-be eight ‎years under his watch have not only seen a lackluster response to the rise of Islamic terror ‎and the fall of American leadership but ironically also a world less liberal and less free than ‎when he was sworn into office.

Not mentioned in this lengthy piece is context. The United States has an open society which tolerates all religions. In the 45 Muslim dominant countries Jews, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists are harassed, killed and not tolerated. Muslims should be grateful for the tolerance shown to them which they do not show to others. A large majority of Muslims openly promote Sharia law in the United States and the world. They demand minority status in the United Stated but are a enormous religion which grows faster than others. In the Muslim dominant countries they do not extend minority rights to others religions. Many Muslims in the United States support terrorism as a means to establish Sharia law. These facts are seldom included in media reports. It is a rational basis for the fears of American Christians and Jews when a religious personality promotes terrorist organizations. Muslim state sponsored schools taught children for generations to hate Jews, Americans and Israel. They promote the destruction of Israel. These facts need to be discussed to place the concerns about Islam in perspective.

The morning of Thursday, March 24, Hussam Madi got a call from Wichita police.
They said between 20 and 50 protesters would be outside the Islamic Society of Wichita mosque, off K-96 near Woodlawn, that Friday night.
It was the beginning of a collision course between freedom of expression, freedom of religion, community sensitivities and fear of violence. And some might say the right to bear arms, including assault rifles, in a public place.
A week later, the collision is still reverberating.
A protest at the Wichita mosque is unusual. It has happened maybe three times in 20 years, said Madi, a U.S. citizen, Wichita businessman, 49-year-old father of “very, very active (Wichita State University) Shocker students” and spokesman for the local Islamic Society.
Police told Madi that their understanding was that the protest would be peaceful, Madi recalled this past week. Whatever happens, police told him, “We’ll be visible.”
The people planning to protest were upset that the Islamic Society was bringing in Monzer Taleb as a speaker. They viewed Taleb as having been a supporter of terrorism.

The mosque also didn’t want a protest to disturb services at a Lutheran church across the street.
It was a coincidence that Taleb’s talk was scheduled on a Christian holy day, Good Friday, Madi said.
Taleb had spoken at least four times earlier at the mosque without protest, as late as December 2014, Madi said.
Another key factor for the mosque: U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Wichita, issued a lengthy statement that Thursday calling on the Islamic Society to cancel Taleb’s appearance on “Holy Friday” and saying that if the society didn’t, “They will be responsible for the damage among religious faiths that is sure to follow.”

The sheriff also noted that he had a concern about the choice of Taleb as a speaker and the timing of his planned appearance.
“I don’t agree with what this guy stands for,” Easter said. “But he has a right to have his First Amendment rights (voiced).”
Easter said he views Taleb as “someone who had ties to a terrorist organization. I was very surprised that they would bring that kind of person in to speak to their congregation,” especially during a Christian holiday.

On the day before Taleb was to speak, Pompeo issued a statement asking the Islamic Society to cancel the address.
The congressman said that while the Islamic Society had a First Amendment right, it “does not permit the Islamic Society of Wichita to escape responsibility for the horrible judgment of doing so – especially by doing so on this important Christian day.”
Pompeo, who describes himself as an evangelical Christian, added that on “one of the most holy days on the Christian calendar, and only days after radical Islamic extremists murdered dozens of innocents of many faiths in Brussels, Belgium, they chose to bring a Hamas-connected sheik to their community center here in Wichita.”
Pompeo, a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said Hamas is a “designated terrorist organization that has the destruction of Israel as its core tenet and terror and murder as its core operating principle.”
“I can find no mention of the Brussels murders on ISW’s website, facebook page or twitter account,” Pompeo said, referring to the Islamic Society of Wichita. “This is unconscionable. ISW and its leaders should use this to condemn this attack instead of celebrating Sheik Talib.”

Pompeo reiterated on Friday that although he understands the Islamic Society’s right to bring in any speaker it wants, “This is a Hamas-linked cleric.”
Taleb has confirmed that by his own words, Pompeo said.
“There’s no guessing on this one. I do know about Hamas activities in the United States from my work on the committee.”

Pompeo on Friday denied that he is scapegoating Taleb.
“I have been very clear to steer away from any person who has (argued) that all Muslims are persons that we have to fear,” he said. “I have been criticized for that, too.”
But now, thousands of people have been killed and millions more displaced by “radical Islamic terrorists,” Pompeo said. “And that now has reached into our country, and we need … every faith doing everything they can to push back on this violence and terror.”
Salem, the spokeswoman for Taleb, argued that it’s “completely untrue” that Taleb supports terrorism. He has been accused of calling for the destruction of Israel. But there is a key distinction, she said: He has advocated for the freedom of the Palestinian people, and in doing so, he has opposed oppression of Palestinians.

US Taxpayers Fund Terrorism By Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood Through US Dept. of Health Human Services

The Obama administration recently gave a $270,000 grant to an Islamic charity that has been banned by Israel and the United Arab Emirates because of alleged financial ties to the terrorist group Hamas and to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provided the funds last month to the U.K.-based Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) for its work in Kenya, according to the federal spending database USASpending.gov.
The funds are earmarked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s global health security partner engagement initiative.

The program is aimed at fighting infectious diseases and promoting “global health security as an international priority,” according to the CDC website.
But IRW has been at the center of other security concerns.
In 2014, Israel and United Arab Emirates banned IRW, which is headquartered in Birmingham, England, from operating within its borders alleging that the group supports and funds Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s military arm in Palestine.

Israeli defense minister Moshe Yaalon alleged in July 2014 that IRW’s chapters in the West Bank and Gaza Strip were being run by members of Hamas.
“The IRW is one of the sources of Hamas’s funding and a means for raising funds from various countries in the world,” Israeli defense minister Moshe Yaalon said in a July 2014 statement. “We do not intend to allow it to function and abet terrorist activity against Israel.”

The IRW provides support and assistance to Hamas’s infrastructure,” the statement continued, alleging that IRW’s operations are “controlled and staffed by Hamas operatives.”
“The intensive activities of these associations are designed to further Hamas’s ideology among the Palestinian population.”
In Nov. 2014, United Arab Emirates added IRW to its list of designated terrorist organizations. HSBC, the London-based bank, also severed its relationship with IRW, citing the alleged terror ties.
But Ryan Mauro, who tracks terror-linked group as a national security analyst for the Clarion Project, says that IRW’s links to Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood should, at the very least, disqualify it from receiving any federal funding.
“IRW’s Muslim Brotherhood ties should rule it out of the running for government grants. This is simply common sense,” Mauro told The Daily Caller.
The CDC grant isn’t the first federal grant IRW has received this year. As the Washington Free Beacon reported in December, U.S. Agency for International Development gave IRW a $100,000 stipend, also for work in Kenya.
Mauro also noted that more than 50 members of Congress support new legislation labeling the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group. One supporter of the measure if Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Video emerged Thursday of a hijab-wearing woman tearing up an Israeli flag at a makeshift memorial for victims of the Brussels terror attacks.
French RTL television captured the disturbing images of the incident at the central Brussels landmark Place de la Bourse, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The woman is seen lifting a Palestinian flag and then ripping an Israeli flag to shreds.
She then hides the pieces under other flags and walks off.

In another video posted on Facebook, a man is seen removing a Palestinian flag from a pole and then using it to cover an Israeli flag on the ground at a memorial site.
Among those decrying the video was one who posted: “This is disgusting. I was going to ask why no one stops them, foolish question. There is no stopping these attacks now. We will see more and more of them.”

This is the shocking moment a woman removes an Israeli flag from a Brussels memorial and rips it up, before hiding the pieces away underneath another flag.
A French-language station captured the footage at the shrine set up at Brussels' Place de la Bourse.
During the clip, which is just over one minute long, a woman wearing a hijab, a brown coat and a scarf picks up a Palestinian flag from the candle-lit vigil and takes it over to an Israeli flag.
She bends down to pick up the blue and white Israeli flag and begins ripping it up, before placing the pieces beneath another flag, which looks as though it could be the symbol of Georgia.
The woman then walks off out of shot, with not one of the many onlookers approaching her to question her over her shocking actions.
It is unclear whether she has placed the Palestinian flag in the Israeli flag's place, however you can see that she is no longer carrying it when she walks away.
The French-language station does not refer to the women's actions and instead the discussion that can be heard is about the official memorial marches and ceremonies in Paris.
This shocking video is not the only time an Israeli flag has been tampered with at the memorial.
Another clip shows a man, wearing beige trousers, a black hooded jacket and gloves, walking into the middle of the candle-lit memorial.
He picks up a Palestinian flag and places it over the Israeli flag so it can no longer be seen. Once again, there are many onlookers but although some people can be heard saying 'no, no, no', nobody takes action.

Belgian officials ignored warnings last June that one of the brothers suspected of blowing himself up in Tuesday’s deadly Brussels attacks was a terrorist, Turkey's president said Wednesday.
Ibrahim El-Bakraoui, a petty criminal born and raised in Brussels and suspected of being the bomber who blew himself up at Zaventem Airport, killing at least 11, was nabbed crossing into Turkey from Syria nine months ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said. Turkish officials said they told their counterparts in Brussels of his likely involvement with ISIS, which has claimed credit for Tuesday’s attacks.
A Turkish official said Dutch authorities allowed Bakraoui to go free because Belgian authorities could not establish any ties to terrorism.

Bakraoui was reportedly deported back to Europe, choosing to go to The Netherlands before making his way back to Brussels. Police who raided his apartment Tuesday found a note left by the Islamic fanatic in which he said he wrote of his desperation.
"I don't know what to do. I'm looked for everywhere and I might even find myself in a jail cell," read a portion of the letter, recited by Belgian federal prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw at a Wednesday news conference.

Al-Arian did not agree to admit to any charges associated with terrorism, Bedier said. He stayed true to his convictions - he stayed true he wasn't going to plead to those issues," Bedier said. • As CAIR Tampa director, Ahmed Bedier spoke on behalf of Youssef Megahed one of two University of South Florida students who were arrested for allegedly carrying pipe bombs near the Goose Creek, S.C a naval base and Megahed was arrested later for deportation. The Tampa Tribune reported in part on September 1, 2007 "We have faith in the American judicial system," said Ahmed Bedier, executive director of the Tampa chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations. "So far we've only heard and read about vague language describing an explosive device, but no actual evidence. Until that's displayed it's going to be unclear what's going on."
• As CAIR Tampa director, Ahmed Bedier’s lobbying efforts resulted in the Hillsborough County School Board removing Yom Kippur and Good Friday from the school calendar even after nearly sixty percent of the students (supported by parents) protested by staying home from school on subsequent Good Fridays. The school district reversed their policy after more than half of the student body showed up for school on Good Friday.
Ahmed Bedier made reckless and erroneous statements and disparaged numerous people and institutions who have legitimate concerns about the Islamist political and cultural agenda in America. It was irresponsible to allow his pro-Islamist propaganda to be presented to students.
It is truly disappointing that the St. Petersburg Catholic High School allowed Ahmed Bedier with his Islamist background and agenda to proclaim the bogus evils of Islamophobia to impressionable students.

Tips For Civilians To Protect Community From Terrorism

If you see or notice any of the below or additional suspicious activities, please contact the local authorities immediately. Remember, you can do so anonymously.  Here are a few more national security tips on what to look for, as well as a few important reminders: Unusual clothing in a particular setting. If you live in a warm state such as Florida or Arizona and see someone dressed in an overcoat or unusual clothing for the season and the place, they may be hiding or packing explosives or a suicide belt. Report anyone appearing unusual to the authorities immediately. Backpacks, bags, and luggage left unattended. Be aware if a person strategically places and leaves a bag. Unusual activity in or around your neighborhood. (You know best!) The signs you heard about in the news in connection with the San Bernardino attack is the perfect example. Take note of a person taking pictures or recording of a building’s side doors, loading dock, cameras and back alley. This includes any sporting event, concert, stadium or arena. Always trust your instincts We cannot emphasize this point enough. Better safe than sorry. If you strongly feel uncomfortable about a situation or a person, please do not hesitate to call the authorities and bring it to their attention. This is critical. You can send information to authorities anonymously.  If you do see suspicious behavior, do not confront the individuals involved. Take note of the details and remember “Salute”: S – Size (Jot down the number of people, gender, ages, and physical descriptions) A – Activity (Describe exactly what they are doing) L – Location (Provide exact location) U – Uniform (Describe what they are wearing, including shoes) T – Time (Provide date, time, and duration of activity) E – Equipment (Describe vehicle, make, color etc., license plate, camera, guns, etc) Suspicious activity is often recalled after an event. We must train ourselves to be on the lookout for things that are out of the ordinary and arouse suspicions. Staying alert is NOT about becoming paranoid. Staying alert is being aware of one’s surroundings. Be alert to indications of possible trouble. Several people have been killed and many more injured after a suspected terrorist attack at Brussels airport this morning.
Two loud explosions reportedly shook the building sending terrified passengers fleeing for their lives shortly after 8am local time.
Shots were fired and words in Arabic shouted before the blasts were heard near the American Airlines check-in desk in the departure hall, a Belgian news agency reported.
The airport is said to be on "lock down" with all flights cancelled and rail traffic towards the Belgian airport suspended

An explosion has reportedly been heard at a Metro station in Brussels.
It comes after two blasts at the airport in the Belgian capital shortly after 8am local time this morning.
A picture has been shared on Twitter that appears to show smoke emerging from a station in the city.
The station is close to the EU institutions.

Airline Employee Cited For Bravery During Hijacking

Bhanot was the senior flight purser on Pan Am Flight 73 flying from Mumbai to the United States when it was hijacked by armed men on September 5, 1986 at the Karachi airport in Pakistan. There were 361 passengers and 19 crew members. Because of her quick thinking, Bhanot alerted the cockpit crew who escaped from an overhead hatch in the cockpit so that the aircraft could not be forcibly flown. The three-member American pilot, co-pilot, and flight engineer were following protocol procedures.
The Palestinian hijackers were part of the terrorist Abu Nidal Organization that was backed by Libya. Conflicting reports indicate that the terrorists "were planning to use the hijacked plane to pick up Palestinian prisoners in both Cyprus and Israel. However, in 2006, surviving hostage Michael Thexton published a book in which he claimed he had heard the hijackers intended to crash the plane into a target in Israel (in the manner of 9/11).

Born in Chandigarh, India, Bhanot received her schooling at Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School, Chandigarh. She attended St. Xavier's College in Mumbai and it was here that she began a career in modeling. She decided to apply for a flight attendant job with Pan Am and once selected, she went to Miami for training. As a flight purser, Bhanot oversaw the flight attendants, and ensured the comfort and safety of the passengers. If there is a disturbance, the purser acts as the intermediary between the cockpit and remaining cabin crew members. The purser is ultimately second in command to the pilots and is usually the only one allowed to make on board announcements. Thus, since the pilots were no longer aboard the plane, Bhanot as the most senior cabin crew member remaining aboard, took charge. After a tense 17 hours, the hijackers opened fire and set off explosives
During the ensuing panic, "...the terrorists shot and killed an American citizen, heaved his body out of the plane's door onto the tarmac, and threatened to kill another passenger every ten minutes if their demands were not met. As the aircraft's power failed and the lights went out, the hijackers recited a martyrdom prayer, opened fire on the passengers with automatic weapons at point blank range, and threw hand grenades into the tightly packed group. In addition to the 20 passengers and crew who were killed, many more were severely maimed, blinded, or disfigured by bullets, grenades, and shrapnel."
In the subsequent chaos, Bhanot opened one of the doors, flung open an emergency chute and assisted passengers from the plane. In addition, she had secretly hidden instructions inside pages of a magazine for a passenger who was next to an emergency exit so he could open the exit. Though she could have escaped first, she let the passengers escape and was shielding three children from a hail of bullets when she was shot and killed.
One of the children, whose life she saved, is a now a captain for a major airline and has stated that Bhanot has been his inspiration and he owes every day of his life to her.

After her death, her parents established the Neerja Bhanot award which "is an award of recognition conferred up to once a year by the the Neerja Bhanot Pan Am Trust in India to a woman of that country subjected to social injustice, who faces the situation with grit and determination and extends help to other women in similar distress."
The names of the unsung heroes need to be etched into our subconscious while the names of the evil ones need to be blotted out. But more importantly, we must vow not to accede to the demands of the malevolent or else we diminish the memory of the brave.

West Point Graduate Killed, Many Israelis Attacked In Israel By Palestinian Terrorists. White House Has No Comment

Taylor Force (pictured), a student at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist on a knife rampage in Tel Aviv before he was shot dead by police.

The American student who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist on a knife rampage in Israel was a veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Taylor Allen Force, 28, of Lubbock, Texas, was attacked along a boardwalk near a beach in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv that is popular with tourists.
Force, an MBA student at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, died during a school-sponsored trip to learn about startup companies overseas.
Force graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served in the Army from 2009 to 2014, according to his LinkedIn page.

He had been based at Fort Hood, Texas, as a platoon leader and fire support officer, among other duties.
At West Point, Force was a member of the ski team and received a bachelor's degree in engineering and industrial management.
Force went to high school at New Mexico Military Institute and was an Eagle Scout, according to the LinkedIn page.

The attacker, identified as Bashar Masalha, 22, from the West Bank settlement of Qalqilyah, was shot dead by police.
A dozen Isrealis, civilians and police officers were wounded in a series of knife and gun attacks that authorities in Tel Aviv said were carried out by Palestinians.

Along with Masalha, three other Palestinian assailants were shot and killed in the day's rash of violence - the latest in a wave of near-daily Palestinian assaults on Israeli civilians and security forces that erupted in September last year.
Police say Masalha stabbed several people close to the marina in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, before running towards the Manta Ray restaurant on the seaside promenade, stabbing more victims.
Masalha then fled towards the center of Tel Aviv, stabbing motorists as he ran, police said.
'A terrorist, an illegal resident who came from somewhere in the Palestinian territories, came here to Jaffa and embarked on a run ... along the boardwalk. On his way he indiscriminately stabbed people,' Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai told Army Radio.
One of the people who was seriously injured during the attacks is a pregnant woman while another is a Russian tourist, the Jerusalem Post, citing Israel's Channel 2.
Shocking video of part of the attack, uploaded to YouTube, shows a man believed to be Masalha running along a darkened street into oncoming traffic.
As cars slow down, he can be seen running up to several of the vehicles and apparently stabbing the occupants before carrying on up the road.
Yosef, a witness who spoke to Ynet, said: 'The terrorist, young with a sweatshirt, came from the direction of the Jaffa port.
'At the promenade's plaza he jumped on a couple of tourists. A woman was stabbed several times, tried to get away and collapsed. He continued stabbing a man and another younger guy in the leg.
'I was in my car. I ran out, grabbed a metal bar and hit him on the back. He tried to stab me and then fled.'

According to social media, Masalha is a graduate from Damascus University in Syria who is in a relationship with an unknown partner.
Posts on his Facebook page reveal that he has recently returned from the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh told Ynet: 'There was a wave of three attacks [in Jaffa, Petah Tikva and Jerusalem on Tuesday] that had no connection between them. All the incidents are over.
'Our goal is to return the situation to routine as quickly as possible. We will seek to understand if there is anything new we need to take into account... and we will update the public.'
According to the Israeli National News, the attacker came from the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, but did not give a source for this information.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem two Israeli police officers and a civilian were injured when gunmen opened fire.
They were the latest acts of bloodshed in more than five months of near-daily Palestinian violence that shows no sign of abating.

A short while before that, a Palestinian stabbed an Israeli in the neck at a store in the central city of Petah Tikvah.
The Times of Israel reports that a 35-year-old man was attacked inside a wine shop and was stabbed several times in the upper body.
At one point, he is said to have pulled the attacker's knife out of his own neck before turning it on the man, killing him.
Images from the scene show a blood-covered knife about four to six inches in length. Miraculously the victim was only moderately wounded.
Earlier in the day, a Palestinian woman who tried to stab Israeli security forces was shot and killed by officers, also in Jerusalem's Old City, Israeli police said.
It was the latest in a wave of Palestinian attacks that have killed 28 Israelis, mostly in shootings, stabbings and assaults with cars. At least 174 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire during that time. Most of them were attackers and the rest were killed in clashes, Israel says.
