Elias Abdurahman, 61, and Sara Kebede Tadesse, 50, are set to be arraigned Tuesday on charges of torture, imprisonment, assault and abuse, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. The couple allegedly used a cane to beat the woman.
The Lancaster couple was arrested Sept. 22 and accused of tormenting and locking up the 54-year-old woman for the past year.
The woman was frail, emaciated and covered in fresh and old wounds when deputies found her Sept. 22 inside the shed in the backyard of a home in the 45000 block of East 2nd Street, the district attorney’s office said. Deputies went to the home after reports of screaming.

Prosecutors allege the couple tortured the woman for the purpose of revenge, extortion, persuasion and for a sadistic purpose, according to the Los Angeles County Superior Court criminal complaint.
A neighbor told KABC-TV that the woman was covered in bruises, but she refused offers of help, saying she was involved in a car accident.

It was not her expertise that company officials sought, she said. They hired her to help give the appearance of a well-supported medical unit, she said.

What is humorous is two politicians suggesting that the CIA report is false and misleading. Isn't that what politicians do all the time? But also what film is accurate as history? And more, what history is accurate? Politicians write propaganda books as well and promote propaganda films.

Years later, the film is still controversial — especially given the 6,000-page senate report detailing the CIA’s “enhanced interrogation techniques” during the War on Terror that took place during the Bush administration from 2001 to 2006. That report, which revealed many disturbing facts about the extensive use of torture on CIA detainees, also indicates that none of the information received through torture led the CIA to the capture of Osama bin Laden.
Last night, six months after the Senate committee released a truncated, 525-page excerpt of the complete report (much of which remains classified), PBS’Frontline devoted an hour to how the CIA managed to legally clear the EIT program, how many of its architects still defend the torture practices, and how the organization influenced the depiction of its practices in Zero Dark Thirty.

Zero Dark Thirty, on the other hand, was billed as non-fiction — an act of cinematic journalism. It’s a film that the Frontline report argues is representative of the CIA’s version of events, especially considering that the source material was a collection of CIA-provided documents. Senator Feinstein admits in the Frontline report that she walked out of the film after twenty minutes, calling it “so false.” Former senator Udall openly calls it propaganda, especially since he and other senators had access to CIA documents that provided alternate realities.

Michael Isikoff, co-author of Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War, criticizes Bigelow’s film in the Frontline report, saying, “Movies like Zero Dark Thirty have a huge impact. More people see them and more people get their impressions about what happened from a movie like that than they do from countless news stories or TV spots.” And that’s entirely true, and the crux of the debate surrounding the film. Its filmmakers may argue that Zero Dark Thirty is a piece of journalism, but that’s dubious considering their limited sources (and the basic fact that people do not go to a multiplex for solid journalism). It’s a piece of art, and art is subjective; Zero Dark Thirty, then, is as morally ambiguous as the torture it displays on screen.

The subject of this debate is not whether torture is bad, but rather if the torture committed by CIA operatives was worth the immorality that comes along with it. History proves it wasn’t justified, and Zero Dark Thirty gives the impression that it was. If Zero Dark Thirty, then, offers the CIA’s version of the facts to a large audience, the accounts of recent history are uncomfortably misleading — which only proves worrisome for future generations who deserve an unmuddled understanding of the truth.

I’ve seen jihad up-close, in an Iraqi province where jihadists raped women to shame them into becoming suicide bombers, where they put bombs in little boys’ backpacks then remotely detonated them at family gatherings, where they beheaded innocent civilians while cheering wildly like they were at a soccer match, and where they shot babies in the face to “send a message” to their parents. I’ve seen the despair in the eyes of the innocent victims of jihad, and — believe me — that despair is infinitely greater than the alleged “anguish” caused by a few cartoons.

Witnesses say the victim was found screaming in a car, unable to move from being beaten so badly, reports ABC7.

Waterboarding is not designed to kill anyone. None of the other enhanced interrogation techniques that liberals are screaming about are designed to cause lasting damage or death.
The reality is that the “torture” that liberals are getting upset about would be called torture only in the First World; in the rest of the world, it would be considered a mild first step.

Such late-term abortions are done in one of two ways:
1) Dilation and evacuation (D&E): Where the unborn child is literally hacked to pieces without anesthetic
2) Saline abortion: Where a saline solution is injected into the womb, and the unborn child is poisoned. Death can take as long as 24 hours, and the solution gives the unborn child burns over his or her entire body. No anesthetic is used.
3) Digoxin injection: Where a massive heart attack is induced in the unborn child via the misuse of the drug Digoxin.
4) Partial-birth abortion: While this is illegal, it’s not possible to be sure it’s not being used due to the lax enforcement of laws related to abortion in America. In this case, the baby is delivered, but when only the baby's head remains in the womb, a tool is used to mush up the unborn baby's brain. Then the skull is crushed.

If liberals really cared about torture and human suffering, they’d be all for banning abortions after 20 weeks, when science shows that the unborn suffer. After all, why would any woman have to wait that long to decide to kill her unborn daughter?
But liberals don’t just fail to support such a ban; they actively work to defeat it.

Basically, good people can disagree about whether or not enhanced interrogation techniques are really torture and whether or not they should be used in extreme cases, but good people really can’t contend that torturing an unborn child to death is an acceptable thing to do.

There is no discussion in this article of the classification of intentional sleep deprivation as used during warfare and is recognized as a form of torture. In an episode of the television series Law & Order, one detective was questioning a suspect. He kept at him for 18 hours then let him sleep but woke him up every ten minutes. In my current living situation, a lesbian graduate student in psychology at Harvard University Medical School conducts a brutal campaign of disturbing my sleep. She works with local police criminals, i.e.,  associates of organized crime who work for the police. Currently there are three crime families participating. Her goal is to destroy my mind and my spirit. After 40 years of such criminal abuse there is not much left to destroy. But that does not stop these sociopaths and sadists from continuing their criminal attacks. It is a third generation of criminals to conduct this campaign.

Lack of sleep can trigger mania in people who have manic depression. Other risks include impulsive behavior, depression, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts.

Mexican Family Of Woman Who Miscarried Mutilates Attending Doctor

The relatives of a woman who gave birth to a stillborn baby are believed to have mutilated the Mexican gynaecologist who delivered the child in a revenge attack.
The doctor, known as Dr M, was drugged, taken to her own home where two of her fingers were cut off before she was butchered by her attackers in an attempt to hack out her ovaries and womb.
The shocking incident began when the medic was snatched as she left the hospital where she worked in the city of Zamora, in the Mexican state of Michaocan de Ocampo.
The 30-year-old had just finished a night shift on a maternity ward and police believe the attack is linked to the death of a baby boy who died during birth complications three weeks earlier.
However, the mother of the baby and members of her family are currently missing.
Police spokesman Ulpio Fonseca said: 'She was forced to take muscle relaxant drugs which made it impossible for her to fight back.
'Then she was tortured and mutilated in her own home for several hours by people we believe are related to a former patient.
'She had severe injuries and nearly bled to death.

This story was presented on CBS News television show 48 Hours on Saturday April 27, 2013.  ABC News 20/20 broadcast their own investigation previously, about this "grotesque" (word used by prosecutor Gail Levine) series of crimes. 

Marcelo "Marc" Schiller was an emigrant from Argentina living in Miami, Florida. He was a successful  accountant, but became greedy and began a Medicaid fraud business. He fired one of his employees, who joined up with a criminal gang of muscle enthusiasts at a local gym. They decided to kidnap Schiller, steal his money and kill him. They tortured him for about 40 days and tried to kill him. They failed. He survived, but did not go to police fearing prosecution for his fraudulent business. The awful part of this story is that when he did go to the police they did not believe him. [It is a problem I've had for more than 30 years of criminal abuses by crime families and Communists. Louis Zamperini, the subject of Lauren Hillenbrand's book, Unbroken, had the same reaction from his own father. He was tortured daily for 3 years after being captured by the Japanese during World War II, because he was a celebrity. When he got home neither his father nor the VA psychiatrist believed what he had survived.] When Schiller was recovering in the hospital coming out of a coma from his injuries, he told the nurses  that he was kidnapped. They told him, "No. You were in a car accident driving drunk." That was set up by the killers to cover up their crime. He gave up trying to convince the nurses.

Must Not Torture Prisoners. Law Abiding Elders? OK To Torture.

There is Congressional interest in protecting prisoners in state and US custody. Dear Mayor,
Please refer to my various petitions to US senators past and presidents and vice presidents regarding my ongoing abuse, various events of food poisoning and torture in the city of Boston since my arrival three years back,involving Homeless shelters,hospitals and police and other departments like Boston public Library that function under the mayors office besides religious groups (institutions).
In fact I was seriously poisoned on the very day you were visiting the Long island shelter, it took me more than two months to be able to just walk.
Here are the detailed petitions that I have forwarded in the past four years since my arrival to US to study my Maters in film making.

In the year 2004, I came to US as a student to study MFA in film, apart an attempt on my life by a car accident in India in 2002 and my arrival to US in 2004, since then, I was called Osama Bin Laden, Muslim and a terrorist.
I was poisoned and medically tortured affecting my reproductive organs ( prostate), beaten up and abused in various states across the nation, most of which has been going in the city of Boston unabated, since the last Two and half years, involving Hospitals and Department of Home and Health services and various law and order establishments, religious establishments and countless number of homeless people in the streets and shelters, now in the streets as I am put away from the last of the places( the homeless shelters).
Beginning that day when I had gone to submit my TV project, on a day where there was curfew on the few streets that lead to TV station besides there being no incident of violence or unrest and riot till today 2009, when I had found out that I was sent to US ( legally as a student) on an rendition program, ( while my parents being compromised of the facts and also of my present conditions, with no communication what so ever, besides some of my relatives being made partners in many ways) I have no answers and no responsible human has yet come forth to clarify as to why I am being singled out for torture, while everything that had belonged to me has been taken away methodically over a period of 25 years until I am left on the streets.).
Many of my juniors and associates who had worked and studied either as class mates or students are now in US and working as professionals and some also as filmmakers.

Madam speaker,
I have been since my arrival to US/CA to study film making ( MFA) at Chapman University four and half years back , been beaten up consecutively for two days while the cops laughed and said I could take more when I asked for medical help as I was bleeding.

Since then I have been under surveillance on a 24/7 basis and been Poisoned often in more than than three times a week and been subjected to sleep deprivation on an ongoing bases since that last two years, once I had shifted to Boston.MA.

The saddest part is I still do not know why I have been picked up this treatment.
At every stage of these ongoing torture and abuse, I had written to Congress men and Speaker Nancy Pelosi and several other senators of both Democrats and republican parties, in addition to past and present US presidents.

Dear Honorable president,

Please forgive me for seeking your attention regarding my ongoing problems and refer to my many petitions in the past about the ongoing abuse and torture since my arrival from India to US in 2004.

So far I have only received more threats and abuse instead of any relief.
As I was administered a FLU vaccine Dec 2007at Pine street Inn in Boston, which I believe is a powerful ANTIGEN, which has been killing me day by day and so far I have not received any medical help.

In addition, I hope that you are well aware the fact surrounding my situation in this country.
Unfortunately given my education and experience in life I fail to understand what is being achieved by torturing someone like me or even by murdering by means of Drugs or otherwise.
As I am quite incapable of dealing with my day today life due to these debilitating conditions, besides being regularly food poisoned, I can barely walk and I wonder as to what is the objective of unleashing such Inhumanity.

Since when human civilization has reached to such abysmally low levels of human dignity and self respect that people like me are handpicked and singled out for abuse and torture.
On the other hand I fail to understand what exactly is being achieved by these actions and how that is likely to benefit US. Why not kill instead and do away with the likes of me if that is of any help.

I have no words to describe the agony and suffering in addition to humiliation that I have been receiving since my arrival.

How would that make any person in this nation happy and the lives of their children better?
Even hardcore criminals by any known standards are spared of such treatment and who with a sane mind would believe that US, a nation known for upholding human values is wittingly or unwittingly is torturing and taking it up on innocent lives.
I have no problem if US as a nation and its people were to benefit from my death and I would gladly offer it but why torture and abuse and what exactly being upheld here and what is being proved to anyone.

Unfortunately I have run out of any hope of humanity that I can expect in this country and I am resigned to whatever fate that is likely to meet me until I can hold on and I am sorry to state I have no hesitation to end this life under the present ongoing conditions, if that be the wish of this nation and its people.

when it is of no more use even pleading to Noble souls like you, that fairness and justice have become mere words no one in today’s world would want to care, as I can see for myself that I am running out of time of and any possibility of recovering normal health fading, I believe that it is time that I should excuse myself.

The fifth amendment prevents individuals from being deprived of life, liberty, or property without "due process of law." Due process extends to all persons and corporate entities. The Fourteenth Amendment explicitly binds the states with due process protections, through selective incorporation. Fifth Amendment due process protection has not always been granted to corporations, but was first applied to corporations in 1893 by the Supreme Court in Noble v. Union River Logging 147 U.S. 165.
