“In Cambridge, there’s a difference between perception and reality,” [student Gregorio Leon] said. “There’s this perception of being an ultra-liberal utopia, which can often lead to a lack of questioning about who we really are. That complacency is very dangerous, and good to challenge.” is an accurate observation not limited to CRLS. 



Tell that to $37 billion endowed Harvard University, local, state and US governments which abuse taxpayers and voters. 



One Cambridge gentleman was described as a retired drug dealer for 35 years by the FBI as part of covering up serious criminal government abuses, while others described the same gentleman as homeless and crazy. Police and politicians joined in bullying a vulnerable person. This works in many areas.

Powerful People Are As Easily Corrupted As Weak Men and Women

Another element described by Roger Morris in his book, Partners in Power, is the preferred candidate. He says leaders, e.g., governors, police chiefs, CEOs whatever, are preferred to be weak, with relaxed rectitude. They are easier to manipulate. Especially if they are unaware of their human tendencies to abuse power. Do both paradigms apply to the current White House?

Quite ironically, journalists turned compliance professionals, and advisers turned sycophants follow politicians’ own rule: taking care of own business only; they will never risk their 30 pieces of silver

That worldview, and the Christian faith behind it, is being whittled away by the media, our popular culture, and a newly emboldened “activist atheist” movement. The pace of that whittling has accelerated over the last decade.

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are worth between $10 and $50 million, according to their financial disclosure forms – but taxpayers will still pony up nearly $1 million this year to fund their post-White House lifestyle.
Like the three other living former presidents, Jimmy Carter and the two George Bushes, Clinton receives a $201,000 annual pension. But that just scratches the surface of the government benefits he shares with his wife Hillary.
The total for 2014 also includes $157,000 for staff salaries and benefits, $414,000 for office space and $9,000 for phone bills.
In all, The Washington Post first reported, taxpayers are providing Clinton with $944,000 in post-presidential pay and benefits.
That tab was $1.28 million in 2002, the year after he left office, according to a Congressional Research Service report cited by the Post and the Washington Free Beacon.

Psychotic Politicians Cannot See Themselves

It is not just Hillary and Chelsea Clinton who believe that they are poor while enjoying riches beyond imagination of most Americans. I think many politicians have a psychotic self view. And it is not just about money and finances. They cannot imagine themselves as anything but well intentioned, altruistic, and benevolent in their actions. It explains why they make so many irrational comments. They actually believe what they say. Then there are others who just say the words knowing ordinary people want their leaders to be altruistic. These are the most venal pols, as exhibited by Obama, Holder and Johnson.

Back in 2012, inequality crusader Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who lives in a $5 million house and whose stock portfolio totals around $8 million, boasted about her wish that no member of Congress own stocks.
And finally, anti-capitalist movie-maker Michael Moore was asked by yours truly via Twitter in 2011 why he produces movies trashing the same economic system that made him a very rich man. Let’s just say after four minutes of trying, Moore really never cogently explained that conflict of interest.

An awkward silence ensues. Nobody in the crowd responds, or even makes eye contact with him, doing their best to ignore his existence.
