In a book set to be released on Tuesday, former Secret Service officer Gary J. Byrne details his time in the White House serving former president Bill Clinton and former first lady Hillary Clinton.
Byrne claims within the pages of the book that Bill Clinton had a 'jogging list' and would have Secret Service 'take the names of attractive women he saw while out exercising'.
In Byrne's new book, 'Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate', the former White House security makes no apologies for his criticisms of the Clintons.
In the 'jogging list', a detail exposed by Byrne, the former president Clinton would allegedly see women who were dressed in nightclub attire or exercise gear, who showed up at the southeast gate.
'The agents... would get the women's names, and run them to see who they were.
'If the women wouldn't cooperate, they would be ushered out of the jogging group.
'Agents... insinuated that this list was used by President Clinton to try to meet these women,' Byrne writes.
Byrne also accuses Bill Clinton of having as many as three mistresses at one time, which included former Vice President Walter Mondale's daughter, Eleanor.
Byrne claims in the book he once discovered the pair 'making out on the Map Room table'.
He writes the Clinton administration was fraught with immoral ethical standards.
'There were some drug issues. Some people would come in to work in the morning, and they were barely walking, they would drop stuff off at the office, and go to the restroom where they would come out minutes later happy as a clown,' he writes, alluding to the use of cocaine.

“What I saw in the 1990s sickened me,” he writes in the intro of the book, “Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses his Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate.”
The book claims she repeatedly screamed obscenities at her husband, Secret Service personnel and White House staffers — all of whom lived in terror of her next tirade.
Secret Service agents had discussions about the possibility that they would have to protect Bill from his wife’s physical attacks, Byrne writes, and the couple had one “violent encounter” the morning of a key presidential address to the nation.
Meanwhile, a paranoid Hillary Clinton tried to have the Secret Service banned from the White House and once tried to ditch her security detail, Byrne says.
“Hillary Clinton is now poised to become the Democratic nominee for president of the United States, but she simply lacks the integrity and temperament to serve in the office,” he writes.
“From the bottom of my soul I know this to be true. And with Hillary’s latest rise, I realize that her own leadership style — volcanic, impulsive, enabled by sycophants, and disdainful of the rules set for everyone else — hasn’t changed a bit.”
The book isn’t set for release until June 28, but pre-orders have sent it to No. 1 on Amazon’s best-seller list.

Byrne — who was subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury that investigated Bill Clinton’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky — claims in the book that he interrupted the president’s sexual shenanigans in the White House.
Byrne says he walked into a room where the president was “involved inappropriately with a woman” who was neither his wife nor Lewinsky.
And he says he once threw out a White House towel stained with a woman’s lipstick — and the president’s “bodily fluids.”
Byrne describes arriving for work one day in 1995 following a loud fight between the Clintons the night before.
The dust-up, he says, left a light blue vase “smashed to bits” and Bill sporting a “real, live, put-a-steak-on-it black eye.”
Byrne’s book amplifies earlier allegations of mistreatment of Secret Service personnel by Hillary Clinton — including in 2014’s “First Family Detail” by former Washington Post reporter Ronald Kessler and last year’s “The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House,” which also detailed a fight between Bill and Hillary over the Lewinsky affair.

British voters chose to “leave” the European Union on Thursday, defying the polls — and President Barack Obama, who had urged Britain to “remain” in the EU. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had also urged Britain to stay in the EU. Only Donald Trump had backed the campaign to leave.
Republican strategists had panned Trump’s decision to travel to the UK in the midst of campaign turmoil, and in the wake of his blistering attack on Hillary Clinton earlier this week.
Now, however, it looks like a risk that paid off handsomely, in the currency of foreign policy credibility.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Convicted Of Racketeering, After Son Was Sentenced To Five Years For Bank and Tax Fraud

Longtime Democratic representative Chaka Fattah was convicted Tuesday to charges stemming from his efforts to repay an illegal $1 million campaign loan.

A veteran Pennsylvania congressman was convicted Tuesday in a racketeering case that largely centered on various efforts to repay an illegal $1 million campaign loan related to his unsuccessful 2007 mayoral bid.
U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah was found guilty of all counts against him, including racketeering, fraud and money laundering. His lawyers had argued that the schemes were engineered without Fattah's knowledge by two political consultants who pleaded guilty in the case.
The 59-year-old Democrat had been in Congress since 1995 and served on the powerful House Appropriations Committee. But he lost the April primary and his bid for his 12th term. His current term ends Jan. 2.
Fattah had little reaction to the verdict, but he kept a smile on his face as he conferred with his lawyers afterward.
He will remain free on bail. A judge set sentencing for Oct. 4.
Fattah told reporters as he was leaving the courtroom: "Well, it's a tough day, but I do want to thank the jurors for their service." He said he will confer with his lawyers on the next step.
Prosecutors said Fattah routed federal grant money and nonprofit funds through his consultants to pay back the illegal loan.
His wife, Philadelphia TV news anchor Renee Chenault-Fattah, took a leave after her husband's indictment and then quit in February. She was cited in the case over the sham sale of her Porsche, which prosecutors said was a bribe. But she was never charged with any wronging, and she said the sale was legitimate.
In a related case, his son, Chaka "Chip" Fattah Jr., was convicted on charges of bank and tax fraud and sentenced in February to five years in prison. A jury found he took part in a scheme as a subcontractor to defraud the Philadelphia school district.
Justice Department lawyer Jonathan Kravis said in his closing argument that Chaka Fattah Sr. used federal grants and nonprofit funds to enrich his family and friends.
Defense lawyers acknowledged Fattah might have gotten himself in financial trouble after a costly mayoral bid, but they said any help from friends amounted to gifts, not bribes.
Many of them came from co-defendant Herbert Vederman, a wealthy friend who had dreams of scoring an ambassadorship. U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, a Democrat, testified that he never took the pitch from Fattah too seriously, even though Fattah once bent the president's ear about it. Democrat Ed Rendell, a former mayor and governor, was called to defend Vederman, his former deputy mayor. He said Vederman was qualified for the job and accused prosecutors of cynically misreading the help he lent Fattah.
Vederman helped support Fattah's South African nanny and paid $18,000 for a Porsche owned by Fattah's TV anchor wife.
"The nanny, the Porsche and the Poconos, they weren't part of a bribery scheme," Fattah lawyer Samuel Silver argued in closings. "Those were all overreaches by the prosecution."
The campaign loan was just one of several schemes prosecutors outlined during the trial. They say Fattah was aided in his endeavors by current and former staffers who ran his district office or the nonprofits; by Vederman, who now lives in Palm Beach, Florida; and by political consultants Greg Naylor and Thomas Lindenfeld, who pleaded guilty.
The other co-defendants are Bonnie Bowser, of Philadelphia, who ran his district office; Karen Nicholas, of Williamstown, New Jersey, who ran the education nonprofit Fattah started; and Robert Brand, of Philadelphia, a businessman married to a former Fattah staffer. The jury on Tuesday came back with a mixed verdict for them.

Interesting article yet lacking in specifics. Professor Sarna recognizes the role of politicians in creating a hateful atmosphere. Campaigning for president former U.S. Senator, First Lady, and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton called Republican candidate Donald Trump, crazy and dangerous. That is the pervasive attitude promoted by police, lawyers, courts, and politicians toward persons with disabilities. It is seldom recognized as hateful not even by journalists, who join in the hate campaign against disabled persons. Not distinguishing between lawful and unlawful discrimination in Massachusetts, the Attorney General indicates her less than thoughtful idea on the issue. Though she is quick to note any slight toward homosexuals and their powerful lobbyists. The AG seldom notices or expresses any concern about institutionalized bigotry toward persons with disabilities. Then there is the senior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts who was a professor of law at Harvard Law School. Being relentlessly humiliated for her identity by conservative journalists she was unable refrain from employing personal attacks against Donald Trump. Is she a role model indicating her approval of hatred toward persons with who she disagrees?

Reports of anti-Semitic incidents are soaring this year across New England, an increase fueled by vandalism, harassment, and other acts at schools and colleges, according to statistics released Wednesday by the Anti-Defamation League.
According to the ADL, there have already been 56 anti-Semitic acts in the region this year, nearly as many as for all of 2015, when 61 were reported.
The data alarmed Jewish clergy and academics, who said the incidents suggest a rising level of intolerance that may feed on the rhetoric from the contentious political season.
“Clearly, people are acting out on some long-held stereotypes and hatred toward Jews, and it’s designed to send a message of intimidation,” said Robert Trestan, director of the New England Regional Office of the ADL. “We’re increasingly living in an environment where incivility is becoming common and accepted practice.”

Brandeis professor Jonathan Sarna said he believes a combination of social media, anti-Israel sentiment, and rhetoric from politicians has led to a sense of public acceptance of some anti-Semitism.
“There is a sense today that this kind of hatred is more acceptable and that the public square has become coarser than it had been in the past, and indeed, one senses that even in presidential politics that there is often a relationship,” Sarna said.
“We look to a candidate as role models. When they employ very coarse speech, and people take notice, it’s not a surprise that other folks do the same thing.’’

Among the schools scheduled to take part are all four middle schools in Newton. At Newton’s F.A. Day Middle School, three anti-Semitic incidents were reported this academic year, including graffiti reading “Burn the Jews” scrawled in a boy’s bathroom.
The incidents prompted Newton officials to hold a public meeting, which in itself became a divisive event.
Newton Mayor Setti Warren said Wednesday that he was not surprised to hear about the uptick in anti-Semitic incidents.

Harvard Law School emeritus professor Alan Dershowitz said it was hard to measure the current state of anti-Semitism in statistics since many incidents go unreported.
He said he receives around 50 anti-Semitic e-mails, letters, and phone calls each year but does not report them to law enforcement.

State Department Releases Documents Signed By Hillary Clinton's Aides About Classified National Security Emails

Senior Hillary Clinton aide Jake Sullivan and former tech support staffer Brian Pagliano each signed agreements with the government pledging not to disclose classified information, according to government documents released Thursday by Republicans.
Both men signed the nondisclosure statements swearing to protect 'marked or unmarked classified information, including email communications,' according to documents released by the Republican National Committee.
The document each of them signed is called a form 312, which requires federal employees to swear, under potential criminal penalty, that they won't mishandle classified information.
Sullivan is a senior campaign advisor who served as Clinton's direct (sic) of policy planning at State, and who sent more than 200 emails that weren't marked classified at the time but were later found to be classified following an agency review.
That review occurred after revelations Clinton maintained her own home email server rather than conducting business on a State.gov account.
The matter is currently under investigation by the FBI.
Pagliano was an IT staffer for Clinton's 2008 campaign, and helped to set up her server at her home in Chappaqua, New York.

Pagliano invoked his 5th Amendment right not to testify in a lawsuit by Judicial Watch related to the email scandal.
"Mr. Pagliano will invoke his right under the Fifth Amendment and decline to testify at the deposition" scheduled for June 6, attorneys Mark MacDougall and Connor Mullin wrote in a court filing.
The documents state that the signers have received 'security indoctrination' about proper handling of classified information.
Spreading such information could cause 'damager or irreparable injury' to the U.S. government, according to the language included in the document.
Pagliano is also seeking to prohibit an 'audiovisual recording' of his deposition, citing constitutional arguments and the risk of 'absue.'
Clinton's longtime aide Cheryl Mills recently gave a deposition and was able to prevent release of a video recording, although a transcript was released.
The RNC got the documents through a FOIA request from the State Department. They released them hours before Clinton delivered a slashing foreign policy address in San Diego where she ripped Donald Trump as 'dangerously incoherent' and said he was unequipped to be near the nation's nuclear codes.
'These documents show that the conspiracy to conceal Hillary Clinton's emails from the public involved many top aides casting aside their sworn obligations to protect classified information in the interest of her political ambition,' said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
'Hillary Clinton endangered our national security and created a culture where top staffers went rogue, silenced career officials and hid a reckless email scheme that placed her political ambitions above all else,' he added. 'These records show that like Clinton, her closest aides did not meet their responsibilities to protect classified information regardless of whether it was marked.'
The document release was just the latest instance of the email scandal intruding on Clinton's campaign schedule. Throughout the past year, the State Department has released troves of internal documents from those Clinton handed over to the agency after she left her post in 2013.

Hillary Clinton's Husband Profits From World's Largest For Profit University Network

As accusations swirl around Donald Trump for the complaints filed against Trump University, few people know about how Bill Clinton was hired in 2010 to be Chancellor for the Laureate Network, the world’s largest for-profit university network.
Not just Bill Clinton but other Clinton friends from the past were hired to promote the university. Investors in the vast multinational university include Henry Kravis, George Soros, Steve Cohen and Paul Allen. One of the investors in Laureate University, SAC Capital Advisors LP, is a hedge fund that had to pay a $1.2 billion dollar settlement to the US Dept. of Justice to settle allegations of insider trading.
Bill Clinton has personally been paid to make appearances promoting Laureate University in countries such as Malaysia, Peru and Spain. By January 2014 Laureate University had 800,000 students worldwide and its annual revenue was $4 billion, far larger than the revenues of Trump University.



Laureate has taken over struggling colleges by using high-pressure marketing tactics such as “turbocharging enrollment” using students as telemarketers. Laureate University was investigated by the Rio State Legislature’s Investigative Commission on Private Universities in Brazil. Robson Leite, a Rio state legislator who led the probe concluded: “They have turned education into a commodity that focuses more on profit than knowledge”

Laureate has a habit of allowing students with low admissions test scores to enroll. One named Phillipe Linhares, age 24, stated that he was surprised when IBMR in Rio accepted him as a student. “I knew I had done horribly on the test,” he recalled, “But the salespeople called me three times saying I’d done great and asking when I would come down to enroll.”
Laureate International Universities, unlike Trump University, is still in existence and going strong. And while news media have attacked Trump for his association with Trump University, somehow the connection between Bill Clinton and Laureate University has been ignored. No stories exist online since 2014.
Recently a judge released sealed documents on Trump University, but no one knows where the documents are that show how much money Bill Clinton was paid for his promotion of Laureate, or what other financial connections there may be to the Clinton Foundation. And while the Trump University playbook has been a topic of controversy, no one seems interested in the high pressure sales tactics used by Laureate, the world’s largest for-profit university group. What voters may soon realize is that every time the media attack Donald Trump for something, it turns out that the Clintons were involved first, to a far greater extent. This also proves what Trump has been saying; that the media are very dishonest and focus only on him.

Several big-name Republican “consultants” and “strategists” are said to be on board. Understandably so, given the bucks involved.
With the kind of cash that sloshes around in a presidential campaign, there should be no shortage of super PAC parasites at the enlistment office.

If Romney believes that Trump is an unacceptable nominee and would be an intolerable president, and that Republicans have a moral obligation to prevent this, why does Romney not man up and take on the assignment himself?

His father shared Romney’s mindset: If the voters have made a mistake, you are not obligated to support it. Just days after Sen. Barry Goldwater locked up the Republican nomination in the California primary, Gov. George Romney was at the Cleveland governors conference plotting to stop him.
Richard Nixon arrived to encourage Romney to step out onto the tracks in front of the Goldwater express. Romney thought better of taking Nixon’s counsel. But he did join Gov. Nelson Rockefeller in denouncing his own party for coddling extremists, and refused to endorse Goldwater, as son Mitt is refusing to endorse Trump.
It was after that Cleveland Convention that Nixon ruefully told me, “Buchanan, whenever you hear of a group forming up to stop X, be sure to put your money on X.”

But whatever you say about the political savvy of George Romney, he was stubborn as a bull in his convictions, and he had the courage to go down to defeat fighting for them.

In a new survey of American military personnel, Donald Trump emerged as active-duty service members' preference to become the next U.S. president, topping Hillary Clinton by more than a 2-to-1 margin. However, in the latest Military Times election survey, more than one in five troops said they’d rather not vote in November if they have to choose between just those two candidates.
But given only those choices, 21 percent of the service members surveyed said they would abstain from voting.More than 54 percent of the 951 troops Military Times surveyed said they would vote for Trump, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, over Clinton, the Democratic front-runner. Only about 25 percent said they would vote for Clinton in that matchup.

Military personnel also demonstrated strong support for Trump in a Military Times reader survey conducted in March. Trump was the most popular candidate among the six presidential candidates remaining then, and the clear choice among Republican service members.

“The candidates left just don’t understand the military,” said Army Capt. Christian Pardo, who said he would not vote for any of the major party candidates left. “The military perspective on some of their policies are just so far out there.”

The sample is not a perfect representation of the military as a whole; it over-represents officers and noncommissioned officers, and under-represents junior enlisted personnel. However, it is representative of the more senior and career-oriented members of the force who run the military's day-to-day operations and carry out its policies.

The unholy trinity comprises the leaders of the Democratic Liars Club. Whether born or convicted, the president of the United States, his would-be successor and the mayor of New York are, to borrow a phrase, “people of the lie.”
This is not to accuse them of being merely imperfect humans. It is to say they are chronically dishonest and concoct such significant lies that they deserve zero public trust.
The latest clincher is the admission of a top White House aide that much about the Iranian nuclear deal was a fabrication sold to a lazy, gullible press corps. Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes boasts that most reporters were too dumb to know or care they were being misled.
“The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns,” Rhodes told The New York Times. “They literally know nothing.”
He said that much of what passed for independent analysis of Iran in the media was a regurgitation of White House talking points. “We created an echo chamber,” he gloated. “They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say.”
Rhodes thus joins the infamous Jonathan Gruber, the administration insider caught conceding that ObamaCare was designed to exploit the “stupidity of the American voter.” If people understood the plain meaning, Gruber said, the law would not have survived.
The twin admissions mean Obama’s self-described legacy accomplishments — the Iran deal and the Affordable Care Act — are fraudulent to the core. Even worse, Obama himself led the charge for both scams, insisting that anyone who opposed the Iran deal wanted war, and that under ObamaCare, “you can keep your doctor.”
The implications are enormous and resolve any doubts that Obama is a con man in a league of his own. Instead of getting the Nobel Peace Prize, he is worthy of the Joseph Goebbels Award for proving Goebbels’ claim that “if you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”
Unfortunately, both the Iran deal and ObamaCare will outlast Obama’s term and do lasting damage to America, and in the case of Iran, the whole world. They make Watergate look like amateur hour.

It is a reflection of Washington’s hollowed-out morals, and Obama’s personal corruption, that Clinton has not been charged in the e-mail scandal. Her failure to protect national-security secrets make her unfit for any office, yet millions of Americans are ready to entrust her with their well-being and safety.

The latest report has the feds investigating his 2013 campaign, which comes on top of probes focused on possible financial shenanigans in 2014, 2015 and this year. In short, much of his career is suspected of being one long crime wave.
Like his pals in the Democratic Liars Club, de Blasio fights truth with imaginary victimization. “How convenient that when we’re doing a lot of work to help everyday people, there’s all sorts of efforts being made to obscure that work,” he said of the probes.
That disinformation echoes Obama’s nasty tendency to accuse dissenters of ignorance and corruption or, when that fails, racism. Clinton, of course, retreats behind charges of sexism and, when that fails, claims to spot a vast right-wing conspiracy.

I am not making a case that Trump is the second coming of Reagan, yet they share the distinction of stoking the enthusiasm of the party’s rank-and-file despite powerful internal resistance. Reagan was regarded by top Republicans such as Nelson Rockefeller and Barry Goldwater as a dangerous simpleton.

Worse things are said about Trump, and defectors include the 2012 nominee, Mitt Romney, and some GOP senators. House Speaker Paul Ryan says he’s not ready to endorse Trump, and both former Presidents Bush may not support him.
The resistance seems genuine and can be respected on one condition: that the dissenters acknowledge they are playing with fire.

Interviewed by Chris Wallace of Fox News (transcript here, video embedded below), President Obama pulled down the blindfold on Lady Justice and signaled that there was no crime at all when Hillary Clinton set up an unsecured private server and left classified information vulnerable to hacking by the world’s intelligence services.  He also created a new category of classification: “top secret top secret” as opposed to mere “top secret,” which he averred to Chris Wallace might be information that could be gleaned from public sources. All in all, it was a remarkable performance, in which the president of the United States in effect told the Justice Department not to prosecute Hillary Clinton.  There was plenty of boilerplate contending that he was not doing so:

But the president of the United States is on record that this is piddling stuff. Loretta Lynch, head of the Justice Department, serves at his pleasure. In a blatant example of "whom are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?," he claims:
"I can guarantee ... I can guarantee that not because I give Attorney General [Loretta] Lynch a directive, that is institutionally how we have always operated," Obama said during an appearance on Fox News Sunday. "I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations. We have a strict line and always have maintained it. I guarantee it."
"I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department or the FBI, not just in this case but in any case --.period," he added. "Nobody gets treated differently when it comes to the Justice Department because nobody is above the law."
Nope. The fix is in. If the FBI makes a criminal referral, and Lynch declines to prosecute, we are headed for a crisis that will echo Watergate.
Side note: The left has a new tactic for minimizing misdeeds that are inconvenient for it to confront. Naming the issue once is now a way of trivializing it. Only when repeated is it real. Thus, we need to worry about only “top secret top secret” or, as Whoopi Goldberg put it, “rape rape.”

The problem, of course, isn't Hillary or Bernie or Ted or Trump – it's we. Our national culture has deteriorated, and we Americans have become shockingly horrible people: fat, selfish, bitter, weak, lazy, fake, and mean. No tribe of malcontents ever deserved someone like Donald J. Trump more than we do, to tell us each day what losers we are. It will be a new kind of ordeal. Maybe it will be good for us. Maybe it won't.
Ted, Bernie, and Hillary will be just as lousy as we expect them to be. Trump will be lousy in new and unexpected ways. We're all floating down the river in our handbaskets toward a dark, gloomy place, but the case can be made for picking the one handbasket that isn't like the others.

I have long thought one of the more specious claims supporters of Donald Trump use is that he alone has the stomach to challenge the Clintons on their unsavory practices. In fact, Clinton and Donald Trump may be more likely to follow the campaign equivalent of MAD if they are the nominees because each is equally vulnerable to the same charges. If Hillary has been an incompetent administrator, Trump has presided over several bankruptcies. If Hillary helped cheat innocent vacation home buyers in Whitewater, Trump lent his name and did promotions for both the scam called Trump University and ACN, Inc, a multilevel marketing firm that many consumer watchdogs see as a pyramid scheme designed to separate gullible new members from their money. If Hillary has sold political influence, Trump has bought political influence. If Hillary is a creature of the big government far left, so is Trump, at least until recently. If Hillary lies, Trump lies just as often and as risible.

It is common knowledge that Bill Clinton is a horn dog. It is also common knowledge that before the Clintons and Monica Lewinsky came along there was the tabloid triangle of The Donald, first wife Ivana and concubine Marla Maples. Supporters of both the Clintons and Trump will carp that this is all old news and nobody cares. But there is one new twist. About the only sexual perversion that still has the power to offend our completely jaded culture is the sexual abuse of minors. And both candidates could end up locked in a MAD embrace on this issue because the equally rapacious Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have both socialized with reclusive financier and political donor Jeffery Epstein, a collector of expensive houses, including what is said to be the largest private residence in Manhattan, a Palm Beach estate and compound on a Caribbean island. Jeffrey Epstein also collected Nobel Laureates and the occasional member of royal families from the Windsor to the Ibn Saud. He is also a convicted sex offender who is the subject of ongoing litigation from at least a dozen of his then-underage victims, some of whom claim they were regularly offered as entertainment to prestigious guests at Epstein's residences.

This plays into the likelihood that Trump and the Clintons both wish to avoid the issue of the sleaze factor in a general election campaign. For while there isn't stronger evidence against Clinton than there is against Trump, both men did seem to have more than a passing acquaintance with Epstein, plus there are Trump's own words that the girls around Epstein were "on the younger side."

One question that has loomed large since Epstein was exposed as a pervert is whether he may have audio and visual evidence that could implicate his high placed friends in his crimes. All the incidents seemed to have happened on properties Epstein owns and he is said to be a control freak who loves secret cameras.
The presidential elections of 1828 and 1800 are often considered the two dirtiest in American History. Each was a rematch of the top two rivals in the election four years earlier, with the 1800 contest having the added twist of a devious vice presidential candidate's attempt to use the poorly drafted Electoral College clause in the Constitution to hijack the presidency for himself. Should Trump attempt to smear the Clintons, the 2016 election could well make those two campaigns look like brush fires.

His economic policies of high tariffs, quasi-central planning and expanded social spending will further cripple the nation and continue the downward spiral in the standard of living for all, but a select few, Americans.

Today the president of the United States wields enormous power. Whether it is the IRS, the EPA, the NSA, the Justice Department or an alphabet soup of other agencies, the government has grown tentacles that can smother any American at any time. Donald Trump has openly declared war on First Amendment freedom of the speech and has spent much of his adult life terrorizing others he considered disloyal or insufficiently acquiescent by either physical threats or unleashing the legal system as a machine of intimidation. If president, what would he do with so much power at his disposal?

It now appears that 2016 will be another sequel as a plurality of primary voters, the elites of both parties and the media may well foist a near clinical narcissist, Donald Trump, and a pathological liar, Hillary Clinton, on the electorate. If I must face that Hobson’s choice, I will not vote in the presidential contest focusing instead on congressional and down ballot candidates.
I cannot vote for someone that strikes fear in my heart. I cannot, with my vote, place the fate of this nation and generations yet unborn in the hands of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. My conscience, forged in the rubble of World War II, will not allow me to do so.

When Madeleine Albright and Gloria Steinem tried to shame and bully young women into supporting Hillary Clinton, they inadvertently revealed a dirty secret of the left’s fixation on gender, race and ethnicity.
They demonstrated that hiding behind the gauzy appeals to make history is a willingness to use brass knuckles to achieve conformity. In their warped vision, biology trumps individuality, and those who don’t agree are traitors to their gender.

The demands for conformity by Clinton’s henchwomen mirror the anti-free-speech movements on college campuses, but are striking because they came from a former secretary of state and a feminist icon, both of whom struggled against demeaning stereotypes in their own careers. They now ape the sexists they fought.

For one thing, neither Albright nor Steinem was thinking of Carly Fiorina or any female candidate other than Clinton when they insisted on conformity. So their demands amount to a selective use of gender as a partisan club, which ghettoizes female voters.
For another, Hillary’s enforcers are not alone in dipping into the gutter, with smears also leveled at Republican candidates who don’t fit a racial mold.
Some liberals have called Dr. Ben Carson, a distinguished surgeon running for president, an “Uncle Tom” for being a conservative, as if all black Americans must think and vote the same way.
Cuban-American senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are routinely accused of running from their Latin roots because they are Republicans who oppose illegal immigration. Again, the suffocating implication is that being an authentic Latino means being a liberal Democrat supporting open borders.

Part of her problem is generational, with Albright, at age 78, and Steinem, 81, stuck in a time warp while many young women say they are free to support Sanders for the same reason men do: They find him more authentic, and her less honest.

Her first Senate race was launched on the wave of public pity after the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and she cites her husband’s presidency as a reason why she should have her own. Is that modern feminism?
That awkward history has diminishing benefits for a new generation. Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski captured the moment when she aimed a barb at Steinem by telling a rally, “I’m here because I support Bernie Sanders . . . I’m not here for the boys.”

So Nat King Cole, who was once attacked on stage during a concert by a gang of white supremacists, and Jackie Robinson, a sharecropper who on the baseball field had to listen to an opposing manager yell the N-word at him and shout “go back to the cotton fields,” had it easy compared to Hillary, the daughter of a wealthy businessman?
Actually, Hillary’s father was not wealthy, and not really that successful in his drapery business. Some years were good, but others provided little income. I suspect the economic insecurity Hillary experienced growing up has a lot to do with her compulsive need to acquire wealth and the trappings of power. Her father, a white male, is disqualified from victim status, but Hillary, a female, was truly a victim:
After “upstaging boys in class” — not just succeeding but “upstaging boys,” because it’s important that your little girl learn to see life as an us-against-them situation

I have to wonder about the poor boys who are assigned this book in school, or who have to sit and listen to it read to a class. They are cast as oppressors who have it easy in life. But that seems to be thrust of most government schools in this era, perhaps one reason why boys fare much more poorly in schools than girls.

When reading this passage, one cannot help but think of the stark contrast set by Bill Clinton and his wife as Secretary of State. Clinton has coarsened grievously both the American Presidency and Post-Presidency. Truman was truly from another era of honor and respectability. Today, half the country wants to return Bill and Hillary to the White House despite their overt faults and derelictions.
