Natick, MA Gentleman Speaks For 1.6 billion Muslims, Makes Psychiatric Diagnosis

Does this guest columnist speak for all Muslims in this country or the 1.6 billion Muslims in the world? Do ISIS Muslims share his beliefs? Saying "while a link between the current act of terror and ISIS has so far not been established," indicates propaganda. The shooter himself said he supports ISIS, which urges its supporters to commit lone wolf terror attacks. The Muslim terrorist Orlando shooter is described by his first wife and guests at the Pulse nightclub to be homosexual. How could he hate homosexuals? How was this an anti homosexual attack? The guest columnist joins Cambridge City Councilor Mazen making psychiatric diagnoses, without interviewing the patient. He would make a great television psychiatrist. How does he know the shooter is a psychopath? Is he suggesting that all crazy people are dangerous and violent. Expressing outrage(?) the columnist says, "It would appear that ISIS is directly trying to determine the outcome of the presidential campaign." Is that all this is? Political activity? He adds, "the 'Muslim world' that has the greatest vested interest in eradication of this scourge from within its midst." What are the vested interested Muslims doing to address the non Muslim ISIS terrorists? Does this alleged human rights activist include people with disabilities in his notion of diversity unlike human rights advocates in Cambridge? Yet he remains silent about the murders of a Paris policeman and his wife by another Muslim terrorist.

Colorado Housing Not Open To Trump Supporters

In 1970s, in Cambridge and Boston, roommate ads often included prohibiting Republicans. Is this why Trump became a housing developer?

[From article]
A landlord in Grand Junction is not breaking the law by refusing to lease an apartment to anyone who supports Donald Trump for president.
According to The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction, Mark Holmes is renting out a two-bedroom apartment on Main Street, but he refuses to rent to anyone who supports Trump.[. . .]
“That has nothing to do with the Fair Housing Act,” HUD spokesman Jerry Brown told The Daily Sentinel. “But that seems to be a first, and it’s original.”
“He’s preaching hate and he’s preaching … a lot of venom, spit and vinegar. And I live in the top part of the house,” Holmes said. “I don’t want anybody that even thinks that Donald Trump can be a good president to live in my home.”

Two Activist Groups Living In the Past

[From article]
Two "progressive" movements need to stop living in the past. This is a friendly intervention.
The New Anti-Anti-Black Movement
[. . .]
Dexter Thomas added his own missive via the Los Angeles Times, addressing all white people about their culpability for the "embarrassing figure" of Donald Trump with the opening salvo "White people, come get your boy."
(I'm trying to imagine the reaction if the Los Angeles Times were to publish a critique of Obama by a white writer saying, "Black people, come get your boy.")
[. . .]
they point fingers and impose on their audience. Their condescension to white people is as infuriating as their neglect of fellow African-Americans.
[. . .]
choosing rather to arrogate to themselves the privilege of speaking for the whole race.
[. . .]
The president appointed black attorneys general, a black national security adviser, a Puerto Rican Supreme Court justice, a black director of homeland security, etc. – all members of a well-connected and cosseted coterie of racially self-aware college-educated intellectuals. The Obamas stayed in close communication with leaders of the black community during eight years of an exceptionally muscular presidency, one in which executive orders were common, resistance from the press was minimal, and opposition from Republicans was timid and self-limiting.
[. . .]
A black person can be elected by popular majorities not once, but twice. We've watched the most powerful nation in the world trust an African-American in leadership, then grapple with his bad economic decisions, foreign policy disasters, and polarizing rhetoric.
[. . .]
The complete absence of criticism toward the White House among the latest crop of anti-racist activists destroys their credibility. Are the agitators so simple-minded that they can't criticize a black president when race relations go south?
2. Pro-Choice Feminists
the abortion industry is not only an industry, but also a callous racket, showing scarcely less contempt toward the frightened women who get mid-term abortions than they show toward the aborted babies whose body parts are carved up and sold on grisly à la carte menus.
[. . .]
The rate of unmarried mothers is inching close to half of live births and is over 70% for African-American babies. Where's the scandal?
[. . .]
The shocking problems we now see arising in the lucrative fertility industry are evidence that women's greatest worry is that they will not be able to have children and may have to adopt or hire a surrogate if they want to experience motherhood. Women struggle more with the stigma of childlessness than they do with prejudice against those who raise children in poverty.
[. . .]
To get large numbers of women to abort, you need organized distortion – a massive behemoth like Planned Parenthood, peddling antiquated 1950s anxieties to women who live in a twenty-first-century world where abortion is a shameful relic far past its necessity.
That is perhaps the greatest danger of being stuck in ancient history – you can get things very, very wrong.

Universities Infected With Social Virus Destroying Intellectual Freedom and Inquiry

[From article]
Can we rid the campus of these misguided fools? Are we condemned to an academic life where free and open discussion is subordinated to creating “safe spaces,” trigger warnings, and formal channel to report professors who accidently (sic) hurt somebody's feelings?
The situation initially appears bleak. Forget about stiffening the administrative spines -- these apparatchiki were chosen by virtue of their cowardice and lack any incentive to expel, let alone arrest, disruptors. Similarly useless is reasoning with these fools. That a non-negotiable demand is impractical, too expensive or illegal hardly settles the matter in this quest for a Utopian fantasy.
[. . .]
What about the little Stalinist snowflakes and buttercups who insist that they cannot learn unless instruction is thoroughly cleansed of anything associated with the white, oppressive, capitalist patriarchy and that the school’s primary educational mission is to expand diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion? Let me suggest that the best antidote for this fantasy is to let them spend their junior year (or more) in an academic setting that resembles this daydream so they can see for themselves.
[. . .]
Better yet, how about a junior years at one of several hundred universities in sub-Sahara Africa? Not all that difficult since many use English as the instructional language and these universities would be delighted to receive the hefty tuition that would otherwise be paid to Dartmouth or Yale. No doubt, those American students who feel stifled by the hyper-white Ivy League would academically thrive at, say, the University of Lagos in Lagos, Nigeria that offers numerous academic programs in a highly diverse setting. Residing in Nigeria and other post-colonial African nations is surely the perfect escape from the evils of white-dominated Western civilization.
[. . .]
ridding the campus of the SJW folk will improve higher education and do so without much upheaval. Undergraduates will now on average be smarter, work harder and will no longer substitute feelings for knowledge. As an added bonus, schools like Yale and Brown that have shamelessly surrendered to the SJW mob will regain some lost intellectual prestige.

United States Is Under Attack From Within and Without Citizen Defenders Needed

[From article]
I think it makes sense to pick one thing -- just one -- and focus on it like a laser. Educate yourself on the subject matter. Join organizations that are devoted to your issue. Educate others. Be on a mission. Make your area of budding expertise a centerpiece of interactions. Once you start weaving your issue into daily conversations, it becomes easier and easier to do.

I’ve been surprised at how after sharing one carefully selected fact with uninformed individuals, they are intrigued. When I tell people that one in four women in Sweden are raped and that the vast majority of the rapists are Muslims, people tell me they’ve never heard that before and they appear genuinely disturbed. So I follow up. I share a little bit more and give them an article to read. (Reading material is also useful for people who don’t believe what I’ve told them.) It plants a seed. Perhaps nothing will come of it, but for some, perhaps it will be the beginning of a journey.
[. . .]

If you’re interested in how our schools are peddling propaganda, whitewashing Islam and teaching our kids that white people are racist, run for a seat on the School Board. If you want to make sure your town stays safe and maintains its character, run for City Council.
We must build a critical mass of activists (or “courageous conservatives” as Ted Cruz says), knowing what we are up against, knowing this is going to be a long battle -- one we may not see the results of in our lifetime. And one we may not win.
But we must take it on.

"White Boy Privilege" Condemned in NYFD

Sarinya Srisakul is president of United Women’s Firefighters.

[From article]
‘“These white boys crying and complaining over this because their white privilege is being messed with. Trying living a life being racially profiled!!!!”’
Critics say Srisakul violated the FDNY’s social-media policy when she posted the comments in November. The policy bars statements that bring the department into disrepute, but some firefighters say Srisakul gets away with it because she is “politically correct.”
Srisakul, who failed the Fire Academy twice before graduating after a third try, has been outspoken about the FDNY’s hiring criteria, calling some requirements unfair to women.

Enough Conversations On Race

[From article]
Why don't we try, instead, looking for solutions? Less talk, more action. And by action I don't mean more riots and more looting. Let's instead be honest about the race problem. Racism is rampant in this country -- and most of it is blacks hating whites rather than the popular narrative about all those nasty, privileged whites out there hating blacks. I do know a few white people who, for no reason they can articulate to me, don't like blacks, but if there are white mobs yelling that they hate black people I must have missed them. The MSM is very successfully covering up for black mobs yelling racial epithets, attacking anyone who isn't black, looting, destroying property, etc. For lots of examples of this read Colin Flaherty's great new book, Don't Make the Black Kids Angry. It's great, but spoiler alert, it will make your hair stand on end at times. And, give you a totally different perspective on racism.

Stephanopoulos Exposed As Political Operative Posing As ABC Journalist

[From article]
He made two unforgivable decisions: He didn’t tell his bosses about the donations and he didn’t tell viewers that he had given money to the foundation even as he reported on it and the Clintons.
At most news organizations, either would be a fireable offense. Either would be a fireable offense at ABC for someone less important.
[. . .]
ABC needs to face the truth. Stephanopoulos has forfeited all trust as a newsman, period, end of story.

George Stephanopoulos has forfeited all trust as a newsman
By Michael Goodwin
New York Post

* * *

[From article]
Of course he’s from Massachusetts. How could George “Steffi” Stephanopoulos possibly be from anywhere else — he’s insufferably smug, duplicitous, politically correct, corrupt and obscenely overpaid.
And most significantly, in the tradition of every Bay State sleaze from Ted Kennedy to Barney Frank to Jonathan Gruber, Steffi is going to get away with it.
Being a moonbat means never having to say you’re sorry.
Somewhere, disgraced NBC “News” anchor Brian Williams must be thinking: “I can’t believe my career is over, and Steffi’s isn’t.”
Last week Steffi was outed as a world-class hypocrite and fraud, attacking author Peter Schweizer on ABC “News” as a paid shill for the GOP while covering up his own payoffs to his former (and future?) employers, the Clinton Crime Family.
Steffi said not revealing his $50,000 kiss to the Clintons was “an honest mistake.”
That’s what he said. Honest.
Two hours later, Steffi issued a new statement. Actually, it wasn’t 50 grand, it was 75 grand. Another honest mistake, I guess.
[. . .]

Consider ABC “News.” The president is named Ben Stewart. His sister works for Obama as a deputy secretary of energy. The ABC flack involved in handling the spin on Steffi’s honest mistakes is a former White House flunky for the Clintons, 1997-2000.
One of “Good Morning America’s” crack reporters is Claire Shipman. She’s married to Jay Carney, who went from a Democratic fanzine called Time to flack for Obama.
GMA, you may recall, is the “news” program that broke the story about how the Aurora movie-theater shooter was a member of the Tea Party. It was one of those stories that was too good to check out, so they didn’t.
When Obama was running for president in 2008 he said on ABC’s Sunday morning Democratic infomercial that he was a Muslim. Steffi gently reminded Obama that he was supposed to say that he was Christian. Hey, what are friends are for?
[. . .]
The current president of CBS (or See B.S.) “News” is David Rhodes. His brother Ben is an Obama stooge who was up to his eyeballs in the Benghazi cover-up.
The new host of “Face the Nation” on See B.S. is John Dickerson. Selected by the brother of Benghazi Ben, the rabid moonbat Dickerson two years ago wrote on a left-wing blog that his hero Obama needed to “declare war on the Republican party” in order to “pulverize … destroy … delegitimize” the GOP.
[. . .]
“David Axelrod now works for MSNBC,” Obama said, “which is a nice change of pace since MSNBC used to work for Axelrod.”

Mob In Pakistan Beats Jewish Activist Then Police Arrest, Beat and Jail Him

[From article]
A Jewish activist in Pakistan was savagely beaten by a Muslim mob Wednesday - and then arrested and roughed up again by police.
Fishel Benkhald - who is leading a one-man campaign to preserve the old Jewish cemetery in Pakistan's largest city, Karachi - has been a vocal activist for minority rights in the country, which is overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim and where minorities such as Christians, Hindus and non-Sunni Muslims are routinely persecuted.
Speaking to Arutz Sheva Thursday, Benkhald - the son of a Muslim father and a Jewish mother, but who identifies as Jewish - told how he had agreed to a face-to-face debate with a Muslim Pakistani man after a discussion on the topic of minority rights on Twitter.
[. . .]
"I went there alone but he was with his friends, we started the debate in a normal discussion manner but soon it got heated up and cursing started."
At that point, a "mob" began to gather around him "and two of the guys who were with him started manhandling me - I should have left at that time.
"They started punching me and when I fell they started kicking my head. Someone also tried to snatch away my mobile."
Benkhald managed to tape part of the altercation, including the the assault. Arutz Sheva has opted not to include it due to the explicit and violent nature of parts.
At that point police arrived, but instead of arresting his attackers, they detained Benkhald.

Brief History of Al Sharpton

TOP: The Rev. Al Sharpton speaks at a news conference in 1989 with Tawana Brawley, who claimed to have been raped and tortured by six men — allegations that were eventually proven false. BOTTOM, FROM LEFT: Sharpton in 1983, 1995, 2006 and 2012.
Photos by Jahi Chikwendiu
[From article]
The group was composed of 25 pastors, organizers and community leaders from across the country, all of whom were members of Sharpton’s National Action Network, and all of whom had traveled to New York in early January at Sharpton’s request and expense.
[. . .]
Sharpton had spent most of his career railing against the American power establishment, but now he was a linchpin of it,
[. . .]
He had been so intent on finding a righteous cause during those early years that he had sometimes acted as the agitator, railing against “white interlopers” and Jewish “diamond merchants,” and spending months demanding justice for Tawana Brawley only to have her allegations of gang rape by a mob of white attackers turn out to be a hoax.
[. . .]
when Sharpton organized a “Justice for All” march in Washington that drew 10,000 people, a group of young activists had rushed the stage and tried to seize control of the microphone before Sharpton arrived. Why, they asked, did they need VIP passes to go backstage at a protest march for the people? Why should they trust Sharpton to be antiestablishment when he was a friend and loyal defender of the president?
[. . .]
“How come Sharpton’s leading the march? ’Cause I organized the march. I brought the crowd. I got the permit. Those Porta-Potties cost us $20,000. You want to run the march? Fine. Get your own damn Porta-Potties.”
[. . .]
Sharpton had been running through the terminal at the Newark airport late one night, trying to make a flight, when a woman stopped and asked him to shake hands with her 10-year-old son. “He’s too young to know much about Martin Luther King,” Sharpton remembered the woman saying. “He won’t know Jesse Jackson. All he’s got is you, so I hope you never let him down.”
[. . .]
Sharpton also believed that some of King’s work was being undone: schools resegregating, the Voting Rights Act being disassembled by the Supreme Court, income inequality at historic levels and a continued racial bias in policing.

How To Get The Attention of Elected Officials

We Vote

[From article]
Using a combination of programming wizardry and personal experience gained from navigating the legislative process, these men have constructed the “We Vote Project.” It is a game-changer in every sense of the phrase.
Here’s the short version: money and influence crowd out citizen involvement. Letters, phone calls, and e-mails to representatives are often counted rather than read. Unless you bring a large constituency with you, your ideas or opinions are of little to no interest to your elected leaders. Right or wrong, this is simply how the system has evolved to deal with digitally enabled increases in communication.
Likewise, following legislation is time-consuming and nightmarish for the average voter. The process is maddening, made all the more difficult by a phalanx of lobbyists, staffers, and “stakeholders” who muddy the water to hide their agendas. Not to mention the public hearings, almost exclusively scheduled during the working hours of us normal folk who can’t afford to miss out on the pay.
Compounding the problem is a gatekeeping media, who routinely limit the scope of discussion by determining what gets coverage, while increasingly pushing an agenda of their own.
The We Vote Project shatters these barriers. Indeed, it obliterates them.
From their website:
We provide timely access to information on legislation in state legislatures (as well as nationally) and provide a verified way for citizens to express their opinions on an issue with their representative.
[. . .]
A congressman, senator, or even city councilperson remains utterly unmoved by vast numbers of calls, letters, or e-mails, knowing that the likelihood that these communications are genuine and organic from his district is quite remote.
[. . .]
The We Vote Project is to politics what the internet has been to funny cat videos. Prepare to be dazzled by the mind-baby of a few Nebraska guys who decided that politics is a wheel that needed reinvention.

Sharpton Anti Police Activists Deny Validity of Three Autopsies

[From article]
The problem is, it may not have actually happened that way.
Multiple eyewitnesses who testified before the grand jury in Ferguson claimed that Brown’s hands weren’t up at all and that he was charging Officer Wilson when he was shot. Forensic evidence and multiple autopsies that were conducted concluded a similar pattern of events transpired that run contrary to the protesters' mantra.
Despite the doubt cast on the favored slogan, most of the protesters that MRCTV talked to at the Sharpton rally continued to insist that the original narrative is the correct one.
[. . .]
“No, no, the autopsies don’t have anything to do with that.”
“That’s not true; I’ve read the whole report, too.”
“No, he didn’t resist arrest.”

Misguided Priorities Among Liberal Activsits

[From article]
the president has chosen Ron Klain to be the Ebola czar. Because for Obama the best man for the job is always a political fixer.
[. . .]
With Obama, we are spared the amazement. He spends all his time doing politics, raising money and dividing people, and sensibly resting up on the golf course in between his exhausting fund-raising gigs. To hell with governing.
It's not surprising that this average product of an Ivy League education thinks and acts this way. The whole culture of the modern university confirms the president in his worldview.
[. . .]
A universal feature of this activism culture is that after the activist has provoked the local mob into burning down the local economy, after he's bonked the local babes, after he's ginned up a local civil war, then he heads out of town, off to his next activism gig, leaving the local community in ruins.
[. . .]
In practice, activism means the graduates of our secular seminaries, the little darlings of the ruling class, going out and demonstrating on behalf of other little darlings of the ruling class: African Americans, Hispanics, Moslems, women, and gays. They call it speaking truth to power.
[. . .]
Let's give the liberal activist enforcers of the ruling class a name that tells our fellow Americans who they really are: “liberal fascists.”

Anti Violence Activists Charged In Violent Attack

Their protocol was to stop the violence. They did not promote stopping theft. Get your priorities straight.

[From article]
Two "Stop the Violence" organizers allegedly beat one of their colleagues so severely that he vomited blood and was left unconscious in critical condition.
Nikole Ardeno and Emanuel Velez, both 30, accused their former roommate of stealing their property, and allegedly punched and kicked him in the street until he had seizures. Arrested moments later, Ardeno was still wearing the same "Stop the Violence" T-shirt she had on the night before when she coordinated a march protesting two recent shootings, Washington Police Chief Chris Luppino said.
The victim, Joshua Magraff, also is a community organizer with the anti-violence group, and shared an apartment with the suspects until recently.
[. . .]
Local "Stop the Violence" leader Suzanne Kelley said she hopes to hear from Ardeno, and insisted that "we don't promote violence at all."
"I can't believe this is going on. I don't want the community to get a negative effect from this because they back us," Kelley said.

Fiftieth Anniversary Tribute to Free Speech Movement Soldiers

[From article]
former Berkeley graduate Robert Cohen. A privately sponsored lecture series in Savio’s honor, dominated entirely by leftist speakers, will be hosted by the College of Letters & Science. In making the announcement, Dean of Social Sciences Carla Hesse declared: “I think it is fair to say that the attitude of [the administration] toward the Free Speech Movement has evolved over the past 50 years, from fear to pride in what the students at that time stood up for and what they accomplished.”
[. . .]
Official sanctification of the FSM goes hand in hand with an attack on intellectual diversity on campus. Every undergraduate must now take a course on “theoretical or analytical issues relevant to understanding race, culture, and ethnicity in American society,” administered by the university’s Division of Equity and Inclusion. As Heather Mac Donald hasshown, the point of the requirement is to enforce ideological uniformity on campus regarding race and gender issues.
[. . .]
For all his brilliance, he never acknowledged the damage done to the cause of intellectual freedom by conflating the essentially liberal Berkeley administration with the Bull Connors of the racist South.
[. . .]
this moment may have been the beginning of the sixties radicals’ perversion of ordinary political language, like spelling the name of our country “Amerika” or declaring corporate liberalism “fascism in disguise,” while seeing something hopeful and progressive in Third World dictatorships.
[. . .]
The Free Speech Movement was born on October 1, 1964, when the campus police tried to arrest a recent Berkeley graduate, Jack Weinberg, just back on campus after spending the summer as a civil rights worker in Mississippi. Weinberg set up a table on the Bancroft strip for the Berkeley chapter of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and then refused to identify himself to the police. Rather than submitting to arrest, he went limp and had to be carried to a police car. Dozens of students then spontaneously sat down around the vehicle, preventing it from leaving the campus. A 32-hour standoff ensued, with hundreds of students camped around the car.
[. . .]
The police-car incident came to an end when the Berkeley administration gave in. Weinberg was released, and the charges against him were dropped.
[. . .]
It was during the FSM that the New Left radicals first designated liberalism as the enemy, romanticized Third World revolutions, and broke the long-standing liberal taboo about working with Communists. One of the movement’s most effective leaders was Bettina Aptheker, a 20-year-old sophomore from Brooklyn, New York, who was a proud member of the Communist Party USA. The other FSM leaders rejected the notion that there was anything unusual about a free-speech movement led by a supporter of Soviet totalitarianism.
[. . .]
The radical movement that the FSM spawned soon imploded into violence and mindless anti-Americanism.
[. . .]
Left untold by most of the friendly narratives about the FSM and the New Left is the story of how a once-idealistic student movement crossed the line to antidemocratic ideologies and undermined the possibility of a decent Left in America.
[. . .]
“Tenured radicals,” inRoger Kimball’s phrase, now dominate most professional academic organizations in the humanities and social studies. They have turned many once-distinguished university departments into bastions of anti-Americanism and apologetics for socialist and Islamist dictatorships. Moreover, the new generation of academics plays rough. Unlike our old liberal professors, who treated my generation of New Left graduate students in a respectful manner, today’s radical professors insist on ideological conformity in their departments and don’t take kindly to dissent by conservative students.
[. . .]
New records have been set for speech suppression on America’s campuses in this 50th anniversary year of the FSM—including a long list of rescinded commencement addresses by “offensive speakers,” such as the anti-Islamist writer Aayan Hirsi Ali (Brandeis University), former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice (Rutgers University), and International Monetary Fund managing director Christine Lagarde (Smith College). But the year’s greatest free-speech disgrace will soon occur at Berkeley, where Bettina Aptheker has been designated as keynote speaker for the September 27 campus rally. After the FSM and for the rest of her academic career, this “free-speech” activist remained a cheerleader for the suppression of free speech in the Soviet Union and other socialist regimes. Today, Aptheker is professor of feminist studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz, where she inducts undergraduate students into what she calls “feminist pedagogy.” She’s also a supporter of Hamas, a revolutionary movement that takes a somewhat different view on free speech and the rights of women.

Celebrating Low Information Voters

[From article]
these citizens perform their civic duty on election day. But they have no real clue for whom or what they are voting. Yes, when it comes to their occupational callings, investment, or sport picks, they may be highly rational. It's just politics and public affairs that hold no interest for them. It has long been hoped that the silent majority would one day wake and grow politically engaged. In 2010, the Tea Party Movement did just that. But it yet speaks as no more than a marginal voice. The majority remains politically asleep. And this silence understandably draws the ire of those who can see the fiscal calamities to come and care deeply about the country's future. But perhaps the community of the concerned should reconsider its position. The "know-nothings" may yet hold the key to "taking our country back."
[. . .]
First, there is cynicism. Americans have little use for their elected leaders and disdain for the political process, as such. Politicians plead for their votes but rarely keep their word. Any position or solemn campaign "promise" can be "recalibrated" two weeks or two campaign miles down the road. "They are all only in it for themselves." Sadly, that's all true. But apathy is also fueled by skepticism. If the cynic believes there's nothing we can do about the hopelessly corrupt system, the skeptic believes that there's no way of knowing what to do.
[. . .]
public apathy is the simple desire to live and be left alone. It is a penchant to care most about the things that matter most: making a living, managing expenses, handling emergencies, and raising the kids.
[. . .]
When will the average American wake up and reach for her ballot? When the agent from the National Institutes of Health is standing in her kitchen demanding to know precisely what she is feeding her family?
