Well, last year, according to the feds, at least four of the union’s enforcers attempted to shakedown a reality TV show, “Top Chef,” whose star is a woman named Padma Lakshmi, the ex-wife of Salman Rushdie.
She survived Muslim terrorists, only to come to Boston and be set upon by Democrat terrorists who called her, among other things, a “bleepin’ whore.” The plug uglies also threatened to “break her face.”

 

According to the indictment, these loyal Democrats “yelled profanities and racial and homophobic slurs at the Crew and others.”
So where are all the female Democrat politicians who have been endorsed by these thugs, whose photographs appear on Local 25’s website — AG Maura Healey, Treasurer Deb Goldberg, Auditor Suzanne Bump, U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark? Where are their statements of outrage about this misogynist violence by loyal Democrats against a woman — an immigrant?



Yesterday I tweeted at all of them who in 2014 so readily sought and accepted the endorsements of the International Brotherhood of He-man Woman-haters and Gay-bashers, asking the feminists to come on my radio show to explain how they could accept the endorsement and cash of such fiends.
When the phone didn’t ring, I knew it was Maura, Deb, Suzanne and Katherine. Somehow they don’t seem very interested in their supporters actually threatening violence against a woman.
Why is it always the feds indicting these alleged extortionists, who in this case were calling a female TV star a “whore”? Did Maura Healey give them a good leaving-alone just because Local 25 endorsed her, the way her predecessor Marsha Coakley would have done?

When I heard that Obama had let in 280,000 Muslims into the United States in the last year alone, I didn't think refugees. I thought population transfer. At that rate, Muslims, already a sizeable presence in places like Dearborn, Michigan and Paterson, NJ, will create metropolitan caliphates all across the US before long.
Which started me thinking: is it important for America to be still a Judeo-Christian nation? Our founding was not based on the teachings of the Koran. Sharia law was not embedded in our Constitution. The basis of our Constitution, as well as the Declaration of Independence, is Judeo-Christian values. That means a respect for private property, individual liberties, freedom of choice, and above all, religious tolerance.

We have no state religion which forces people to believe anything, and we do not kill people who fail to believe in any particular religion.
Because we have equality of the sexes, and respect for the individual, women can work if they choose and wear whatever they like.

Private property rights provide more protection for the individual, and the rule of law provides stability that enables millions of people to seek better lives.
Sadly, the free market barely exists in most Muslim countries, keeping millions in poverty. Incitement is the rule, whether it is incitement against Jews, or Christians, or even different kinds of Muslims.

We have seen the results in Europe, the no-go zones in Great Britain, the hunting down of Jews in France, the assassination of politicians in the Netherlands and cartoonists in Denmark. We have already seen a number engage in terrorism here in America, like the Boston bombers. If we are to continue being an open, tolerant nation, is that compatible with admitting large numbers of Muslims? If not, why won't any candidate speak out on that?

The complaint—which names Harvard and the Harvard Corporation as defendants—reiterates several allegations that Theidon previously made in a complaint she filed roughly a year ago with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination alleging that Harvard’s decision to deny her tenure violated the federal anti-sex discrimination law Title IX. She later withdrew that complaint and indicated her plans to sue the University.
Prior to filing the initial charge, Theidon had appealed Harvard’s decision to deny her tenure.
Theidon’s Thursday complaint alleges that Harvard “retaliat[ed] against her by denying her tenure immediately after and because...she supported” a student campaign to reexamine the school’s response to complaints of sexual assault.
Additionally, Theidon alleges in the complaint that she was denied tenure because she opposed what she viewed as a “sexually hostile environment” for women who complained about sexual assault and harassment at Harvard. Finally, the 34-page complaint alleges that the University denied Theidon tenure because of her gender.

Women who fight back against rapists and kill their attackers are executed. The constitution bars female judges. And women must obtain the consent of their husbands to work outside the home.
In fact, not only is there no possibility that the UN Commission on the Status of Women will criticize Iran, Iran is an elected member of CSW. Sudan – whose president has been indicted for genocide and crimes against humanity – is currently a CSW Vice-Chair.

And the message is that…these Islamo-babes are just as hot under the burqa as German women, and you can be sexy wearing a burqa and…Muslim woman like hot sexy lingerie [just as much as everyone else]…
The reality is, if a Muslim woman — a Muslim actress — had played that role, she'd have been dead. She'd have been honor-killed. Her father would have thrown her off the balcony, as happens in Sweden; or run over her in the car as happened in Peoria, Arizona; or chopped her head off as happened in upstate New York. No Muslim woman can say when her father says, or husband says, "Where were you today, honey?" she says, "Oh, I did this great German lingerie ad. For years, she has fought against the practices of female genital mutilation, forced marriage, child marriage, and honor killings — all of which occur routinely in the Middle East and parts of Africa. Hirsi Ali has harsh words for those who commit such acts in the name of Islam and for those who deny women and girls the right to education and personal autonomy on cultural grounds.
You would think that advocacy on behalf of basic human freedoms would be uncontroversial. But in this brave new world where “Islamophobia” is a sin greater than actual violence, you would be wrong. After all, who are we to judge the cultural practices of others?

(Apparently, it is now the responsibility of universities to protect students from ideas that may offend or put them ill-at-ease.)

Brandeis University has rescinded its offer of an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somali-born activist whose work has focused on the barbaric misogyny rampant in Islamic societies, like the one in which she was raised. Capitulating to a campaign by CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) and voluble student and faculty protests, Brandeis President Frederick Lawrence yesterday withdrew the honor. He has publicly shamed a courageous woman. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism funding case involving Hamas.

“Yesterday Brandeis University decided to withdraw an honorary degree they were to confer upon me next month during their Commencement exercises. I wish to dissociate myself from the university’s statement, which implies that I was in any way consulted about this decision. On the contrary, I was completely shocked when President Frederick Lawrence called me—just a few hours before issuing a public statement—to say that such a decision had been made.

“When Brandeis approached me with the offer of an honorary degree, I accepted partly because of the institution’s distinguished history; it was founded in 1948, in the wake of World War II and the Holocaust, as a co-educational, nonsectarian university at a time when many American universities still imposed rigid admission quotas on Jewish students. I assumed that Brandeis intended to honor me for my work as a defender of the rights of women against abuses that are often religious in origin. For over a decade, I have spoken out against such practices as female genital mutilation, so-called ‘honor killings,’ and applications of Sharia Law that justify such forms of domestic abuse as wife beating or child beating. Part of my work has been to question the role of Islam in legitimizing such abhorrent practices. So I was not surprised when my usual critics, notably the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), protested against my being honored in this way.

“What did surprise me was the behavior of Brandeis. Having spent many months planning for me to speak to its students at Commencement, the university yesterday announced that it could not “overlook certain of my past statements,” which it had not previously been aware of. Yet my critics have long specialized in selective quotation – lines from interviews taken out of context – designed to misrepresent me and my work. It is scarcely credible that Brandeis did not know this when they initially offered me the degree.

“What was initially intended as an honor has now devolved into a moment of shaming. Yet the slur on my reputation is not the worst aspect of this episode. More deplorable is that an institution set up on the basis of religious freedom should today so deeply betray its own founding principles. The ‘spirit of free expression’ referred to in the Brandeis statement has been stifled here, as my critics have achieved their objective of preventing me from addressing the graduating Class of 2014. Neither Brandeis nor my critics knew or even inquired as to what I might say. They simply wanted me to be silenced. I regret that very much.

“Not content with a public disavowal, Brandeis has invited me ‘to join us on campus in the future to engage in a dialogue about these important issues.’ Sadly, in words and deeds, the university has already spoken its piece. I have no wish to ‘engage’ in such one-sided dialogue. I can only wish the Class of 2014 the best of luck—and hope that they will go forth to be better advocates for free expression and free thought than their alma mater.

“I take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported me and my work on behalf of oppressed woman and girls everywhere.”

Building A Women's Commission Empire

[This letter was published in the print edition of The Cambridge Chronicle on Thursday October 18, 2012, page A11.] 

Cambridge Officials are on the cutting edge of increasing government intrusion into the lives of citizens. Simultaneously they demand more funding, always in the name of good. "Leah Cefalo, of the Police Department, said [. . .] the pressures of the recession make it harder for victims to leave their abuser. [. . .] because of the economy [. . .] there’s a depletion of resources.” Should there be higher taxes on the rich to fund assistance to women in bad relationships? 

"what is the role of government when you’re not safe in your home?” said Councilor Marjorie Decker. Police and the courts cannot act without jurisdiction, a concept Marjorie Decker has had difficulty understanding for many years. Where is jurisdiction for government to come into homes to watch for domestic violence? Was the Fourth Amendment repealed again? I thought women and homosexuals wanted government out of the bedroom, and off of their bodies? 

Executive Director Risa Mednick said "economic stresses on the family are exacerbating domestic violence, very broadly (broadly?) defined, [. . .] the people who are coming to us for assistance are poorer than ever before.” Is this about women or poor people? Are only poor women abused by poor men? Is the women's commission lobbying for higher taxes or for a better economy? Do women's advocates work to elect Romney? There is more money available for such services when the economy is thriving. Or does the Commission demand higher taxes of the rich to pay for the abuses of the poor?

Although "the Cambridge Police Department has not reported any increase in the number of reports of domestic violence since 2004" Nancy Ryan (didn't she retire?) sounds the alarm saying "the courts are still receiving requests for restraining orders every day and families who can’t afford to separate are staying together even though there’s violence in the home,” [Nancy] Ryan said. “We have to find the next new level of prevention." Is not getting married a form of prevention of domestic abuse? Do women need help making choices about the men they date and marry? Does the Commission promote that form of prevention? Does Ryan encourage splitting up families? Isn't that the reason for not deporting illegal aliens? How can she be so cruel? 

This sounds like "We demand more funds to hire more commissioners, and to buy more safe houses for the empire we want for the women's commission. The police and the courts and those evil men are discriminating against us again. And we don't want those ugly breeders to talk to us, or we'll call the police.
