"Decker said that she thought part of the solution to the gender disparity was to increase the number of women who staff political offices because she said those staffers are more likely to eventually run for political office themselves." Isn't that one of the problems with the kind of people who run for office? Decker is one of many elected officials who never held a real job. Their entire adult life is spent in the rarified fantasy atmosphere of politics and government. The real world pays the salaries and taxes for the misguided liberal programs, not government officials. Like the academic world, politicians produce hot air, which is not even used to melt snow in winter. The Spending Other Peoples Money Society thrives at universities and in government offices. Why is it taking so long for the President and Fellows of Harvard College to recognize Rep. Decker, giving her an award for her unique accomplishments? Why are no conservative women permitted at these conferences? Is it true what the feminists say? "They are not women."
