Campaign To Dumb Down All US Education Proceeding As Planned; Cambridge, MA A Leader

There is no question that American public schools have been dumbed down. The government's own report in 1983, "A Nation At Risk," said the schools are so bad that they might well be a clever subversive trick by an unfriendly foreign power.
We can go back to the early 1950s, to a book written by a prominent professor of history, Arthur Bestor. His title says it all: "Educational Wastelands: The Retreat from Learning in our Public Schools." (This was one of many books with a similar message. Note that Why Johnny Can't Read came along in 1955.)



It's a fact that our secondary schools have been dumbed down for a long time. Let's give credit where it's due. Our Education Establishment has done a bang-up job of undermining traditional education and imposing so-called progressive education on our schools. (I say "so-called" because progressive usually devolves to regressive and/or repressive.)
In practice, dumbing down means that today's high school graduates possess less information and fewer skills than was the case 25 or 50 years ago. They have lower scores on their SATs. They can't write as well, think as well, or study as well. They can't perform academically as well as kids did decades ago.
One immediate result should be no surprise: a great percentage of incoming college students need remedial training, more than half of them at community colleges.
Note that we're paying to educate students in secondary school, then we pay to educate the same students in the same subjects a second time. Wouldn't it be more cost-effective (and certainly more logical) if the K-12 schools were run properly? Of course.
But the bad news is just starting. There are other damages that may be even more costly. Millions of unprepared students will exert downward pressure on every aspect of college life. This is already happening.
Colleges will have a dire choice. Maintain their traditional standards, in which case they would have to flunk out a great percentage of the students and lose all that government funding. Or steadily degrade their standards to accommodate the low quality of incoming freshmen.
One's first hope is that the colleges – "higher education," as they once proudly called it – would resolve to hold the high ground.

The problem is that the Education Establishment in control of K-12 will try, relentlessly and shamelessly, to subvert the colleges, for two separate reasons.
First, the typical student they're graduating is not very good. They can try to improve those graduates, or, the likely option, they can try to silence anyone who might complain. By lowering standards, you guarantee fewer complaints.

K-12 is now overrun by counterproductive sophistries: cooperative learning, project-based learning, constructivism, self-esteem, alternative assessment, and many more. By forcing these methods into the colleges, the methods become securely locked in at the K-12 level. The Education Establishment can then say to the parents and community: We want to do what's done at the college level; you know it's good!

Fundamentally, traditionalists view education as the development of an individual's intellectual skills. Progressives see education as a tool for social and cultural change. Let me reduce this to the bleak reality. If a lot of students have politically correct opinions about global warming and transsexuals, progressives consider this outcome successful, even if students learn little else.

One Ivy League university already boasts about its dedication to "inclusion." The problem is that everything that is "included" as official campus doctrine requires the exclusion of anything in the way of that step. "Inclusion" ends up meaning exclusion. But nobody will be able to think or speak critically about this trade-off because such discussion will not be allowed. Colleges will have more taboos, censorship, speech codes, and safe spaces. Finally, demanding higher standards and better education will be considered unreasonable, if not outright racist and elitist. You may not be legally permitted to ask for higher standards.

This country's Education Establishment soldiers have created 40 million functional illiterates. I think they're proud of it. I think they'd be happy to spread the blight.

Remarkable how feelings drive the education industrial complex, where the Therapeutic State shares power with teachers unions. If students, teachers and politicians worked toward hiring the best teachers, that might increase the number of educated students. But today in Cambridge it is all about identity politicians using feelings to gain more money and power. No wonder US schools are trending down, Trump is so popular, and will be the next President. Most of my teachers were women. I was able to learn from them in spite of feeling uncomfortable in the classes. Are all classes focused on feelings today?

student Julia Lowfleury said she has never had a teacher of color or one who looks like her. Because of this, she said she often feels uncomfortable in class. According to the Educators of Color Group at CRLS, Lowfleury’s situation is not uncommon or new.
“I need to know there’s going to be someone there who has maybe been in the same situations I have, who has been raised in the same background or has the same religious views and can understand the same problems I face. I might not find that in teachers who are from a white, upper-middle-class family,” Lowfleury said at a School Committee meeting Tuesday night.

The issue was not an agenda item, so the committee did not discuss it further at the meeting. Although it is not permitted to address non-agenda items during public comment, the committee allowed an exception for the group.

Kim Parker, of the Educators of Color Group and an English teacher at CRLS, said there is a revolving door within CPSD and CRLS that does not retain faculty of color. She said this is due to a lack of administrative support in confronting systematic issues of race and racism, as well as evaluations and evaluators that are not culturally responsive.

The Cambridge School Committee set a goal of having 30 percent of faculty and administration be of color at Cambridge Public Schools. While CRLS meets the 30 percent standard, Parker said her group would like the percentage to be filled by core faculty, not including administration.

[School Committee Member Harding said] we need to keep our eye on the ball and that diversity matters.”

Michelle Li, a 10th-grade English teacher at CRLS who also spoke out in support of hiring more faculty of color, said parents have told her on several occasions how thrilled they are for their children to have an Asian English teacher.
“The unspoken message here is two-fold. First, that their child has gone through many years of CPS and is just now having their first experience with an Asian teacher, and second, that Miss Li teaches English, not math, science or Chinese, but English,” she said.
As a personal anecdote, Li spoke of a time she bonded with an Asian student who used chopsticks to eat fruit in class. Moments like those, Li said, validate the richness of the students’ varied backgrounds and interests.
“It builds bridges between cultures, and signals to our students that teachers appreciate who they are and strive to deliver lessons that are culturally relevant,” she said.
CRLS student Mary Gashaw said she would be more likely to feel comfortable in classrooms if she had teachers of color, and that the current situation in schools is not ideal.
As far as demands, the Educators of Color Group is asking the School Committee for a comprehensive external evaluation of procedures used by CRLS evaluators by the Lawyers’ Committee on Civil Rights and Economic Justice to evaluate trends and their impact on retention of teachers of color. The group is also asking for “leveled-up” classrooms, bringing the current faculty of color percentage up to 30 percent and maintaining that annually, and support for educational professionals to pursue certification while providing certification prep paid for by the district to aid with passing the Massachusetts Test for Education Licensure.
Members are also are asking for district-wide cultural competency training to make all educators and administrators proficient,

Feminism Defers to Multiculturalism, Rape Only Evil If Done By White Christian Men

Feminists incessantly harp about a phantom “rape culture” in the United States and other Western countries. On New Year’s Eve 2016, Northern European cities experienced an outbreak of the real thing—and the opponents of patriarchy went silent. It turns out that a more powerful force exists on the left than feminist victimology: multiculturalism.
As revelers gathered in the central square of Cologne, Germany, for the traditional New Year’s Silvesternacht celebrations, thousands of North African and Middle Eastern males started throwing firecrackers into the crowd and attacking passersby. They pickpocketed and robbed males and females, but they directed most of their violence against women: grabbing their breasts and buttocks, inserting their fingers into the women’s vaginas, and, in a few instances, raping them, while shouting sexual insults. A total of 653 victims filed reports with the police.



Similar attacks were reported in Munich, Berlin, Nuremberg, Bremen, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, and Bielefeld, among other cities across 12 German states, though not on the same scale. Outbreaks of sexual violence also occurred in France, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, and Turkey. The assaults appeared to have been planned and coordinated through social media, Germany’s justice minister Heiko Maas later said. In Cologne, some of the suspects had notes in their pockets with scribbled German translations for female body parts. This mass sexual harassment of females recalled similar incidents during the occupation of Cairo’s Tahrir Square from 2012 to 2014.
German police and political leaders covered up the violence for days. A Cologne police-force press release originally reported that the Silvesternacht celebrations had been peaceful, though officers had witnessed the attacks. Police employees are “afraid of talking about these things in the context of the immigration debate today,” a Stockholm police spokesman told the Guardian, in reference to Sweden’s experience with Muslim sexual attacks on New Year’s Eve and at a music festival in 2014.
Eventually, however, news of the assaults leaked out, and the most surprising cover-up of all began. Leading feminists across the continent and in Great Britain either ignored the incidents entirely or distorted their significance beyond recognition. Silence was justified on the grounds that acknowledging the attacks would encourage opposition to the mass Muslim immigration that had engulfed Europe over the previous year.

When feminists were cornered into addressing the violence, they tied themselves into knots trying to change the subject back to their favorite topic: Western white-male patriarchy.

An old-school German feminist, Alice Schwarzer, denounced the New Year’s assaults as a “gang bang” designed to terrorize women; she found herself condemned by other feminists and “antiracists.” Victims refused to give their names to reporters for fear of being pilloried on social media for xenophobia.

The most dazzling eruption of moral blindness came from a British feminist currently on a fellowship at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society. The political and press silence after the New Year’s attacks was a product of Western sexism and indifference to rape, alleged Laurie Penny in The New Statesman. This was, of course, preposterous. Had thousands of white males committed the attacks, a worldwide furor would have immediately broken out. The effort to look the other way was patently the result of cringing political correctness. But Penny was equally critical of the “right-wing press” for condemning the mass violence, since it only did so out of “unbridled racism.”

Penny acknowledged that the “experience of women in the West is [not] exactly the same as the experience of women in Middle Eastern dictatorships and war zones.” Let’s rephrase that, shall we? To live in a society where women’s magazines, pop culture, and advertising incessantly celebrate female sexuality and promiscuity, where every elite profession desperately seeks to hire and promote as many women as it can, and where women enjoy every freedom and right that men do, is not just “not exactly the same” as living in a culture where female rape victims are murdered to preserve their family’s honor and where women who don’t wear the veil or burka face public shaming or worse; there is no similarity whatsoever between those two experiences.

The problem on New Year’s Eve, [The New York Times]reported, was that migrants from war-torn countries were “unfamiliar with German culture.” Translation: the norm that you don’t jam your fingers up women’s vaginas in public is just a quaint German custom, akin to wearing lederhosen.

A public pool in the Bavarian town of Bornheim posted cartoon warnings against the fondling of women’s bikini-clad bottoms, before banning male asylum seekers entirely in January 2016, due to the rash of harassment complaints. Women in Berlin report being called “slut” on the street. As for gay rights, try staging a gay pride parade in one of Europe’s Muslim enclaves, and see how far you get.
The New Year’s assaults should have been a wake-up call about the worsening civilizational clash brought on by mass immigration. The official cover-up of organized child sexual abuse committed by Pakistani-British men in Rotherham, England, foreshadowed the New Year’s suppression of truth by political correctness.

Once upon a time there were people who naively fantasized about how all the incompatible cultures of the world were going to magically blend, weaving a beautiful tapestry of colors and variations. They called this “Multiculturalism”. Increasingly, the tapestry is made up of glass shards and human remains. At what point do we begin to tally the lives ruined or taken by members of all the “guest” cultures from members of all the host cultures? Pretty soon, I hope, since that seems to be a recurring element of multiculturalism. Wherever you see one, you see the other.
Cultures are either consciously abandoned, or consciously enforced. The theory of multiculturalism has always been a tonic for simpletons, since it celebrates the perpetuation and imposition of an incompatible culture, still being practiced by those who carry it, upon a host culture with which it is mutually exclusive. Multiculturalism is entirely subversive. It is intended to force one or more cultures upon the hosts who do not want or need them. Since both cultures cannot successfully coexist within the host, which has its own successful working culture, the purpose of the exercise has always been fraudulent. The “melting pot” concept worked not because of the concept of multiculturalism, but as testament against it. Those who came here in our parents’ and grandparents’ generation consciously chose to abandon the cultures they left in favor of the American culture. They became Americans, embracing one culture.



If one was being less generous than to call multiculturalism a tonic for simpletons, it would be more accurate to say that modern leftist multiculturalism is actually a weapon. Its purpose is not to enhance the host, but to consume it. If the host’s culture is peaceful, it has no use for malcontents who insist upon the dominance of their native culture.

Europe is being forced to account for its misguided multiculturalism on a grand scale, as it is being invaded and conquered voluntarily by the proponents and carriers of multiculturalism. Belgium, which prides itself on its diversity and multiculturalism, has been duly thanked this week by those it welcomed and upon whom it gifted its liberties and freedoms. France has also recently been thanked. So too has been the UK, Germany, Sweden, and all the rest, as their own cultures are being swept aside to accommodate those who intend to assassinate the culture, rather than assimilate.
Increasingly, among the practitioners of aggressive multiculturalism, their gratitude is often measured in lives destroyed and the quantity of blood spilled to overwhelm the host. It is measured in rapes, and violent crimes, and pedophilia, and human trafficking, and all of the niceties of the guest cultures that have been blindly welcomed or ignored by the host, whose tolerance was only exceeded by its stupidity.



Indeed, Americans have been thanked and continue to be thanked by all sorts of carriers of multiculturalism. The open southern border, an instrument of forced multiculturalism, has brought us gangs, and criminals, and drugs, and murderers, and cartels, all of which are simply part of the cultures of the countries from which their carriers traveled to enrich us with their superiority. The left so values these contributions, including the senseless murders of Americans by repeat offenders who prey on American citizens with the tacit permission of our government, that they proudly tout their “sanctuary cities”, which aid and abet the predators, while sacrificing the prey in the name of tolerance and smug superiority.
We have been similarly thanked by radical Islamists, who have bombed us, shot us, and terrorized us for not surrendering to their culture, with all the superiority that comes with honor killings, female mutilation, subjugation of women, beheadings, throwing gays from rooftops, genocide and hatred of everyone and everything that is incompatible with their culture. Our government so approves of this that it facilitates the “migration”/importation of even more carriers of such culture in the form of Syrian Muslim immigrants whom it cannot vet, many of whom travel on forged visas created by ISIS to permit them to enter target countries undeterred.
Even among Americans, who are free and have unlimited opportunities available to them, we are beginning to understand the extent of the anti-American subcultures that have arisen, and are working just as diligently to defeat us. There is within our own borders a rising culture of anti-Constitutional, anti-American aggression and fascism, perpetrated upon Americans by other Americans who are so assured of their own moral and intellectual superiority that they have no need of laws that constrain their dominance over their fellow citizens. They are smarter and better than the rest of us, because they say so.



At the same time, we have a cultural movement embodied by innumerable young adults, trained to be perpetual crybabies and losers, convinced of their entitlement to steal the property and money of others, whom they mindlessly hate for successes that they cannot fathom, animated by puppeteers who themselves are paragons of failure. They think nothing of employing violence against those whom they have never met and do not know, but hate entirely.
Make no mistake. The anti-American subculture growing in the United States is surprisingly deeply rooted and has even more potential to destroy this country than anything the left can import. They are carriers of their pathology, and they use our politics and media to infect. Like the other corrosive cultures, theirs celebrates lawlessness, injustice, and violence because they advance the goals of fear and intimidation. The extent of violence is the only remaining question mark, since most anti-American culturalists have not yet engaged in open homicide of their ideological enemies. The obvious exception is the Black Lives Matter subculture, which long ago jumped over that line and was rewarded by their allies with publicity and fake credibility.
Will relative restraint continue if a candidate is nominated for president who recognizes the cancer that the anti-American culturalists represent to our national survival? Don’t count on it. These are the ideological children of Bill Ayers. We will transition from a war of words to the inevitable war of violence, because they will start it to survive, confident they won’t be blamed. Watch what happens this summer in Cleveland, by which time it will have begun, and how it is covered. Either we win, or they do, but our cultures are mutually exclusive.

In its desperate quest to be multicultural, Mizzou adopted another progressive innovation many years back: lowering standards for these select groups. Just about all universities did. As a result, for instance, black Missourians who could have competed successfully at Mizzou were headed to Harvard and Yale. Those who could have competed at a community college or a lesser state college were headed to Mizzou.



Scholars call the phenomenon "academic mismatch." Rather than struggle in science or math classes, many mismatched students have chosen to coast in politically charged programs like black studies or women's and gender studies and act out the ideology in their ample leisure time.
At MU, diversity trumps scholarship, and there is no more impressive testament to the same than the rise (and fall) of 53-year-old Youssif Omar. Last year, the university approved his Ph.D. dissertation and named him managing editor of Artifacts: A Journal of Undergraduate Writing.
One problem, alas, is that Omar cannot write. His is the only dissertation I know of – "Perceptions of Selected Libyan English as a Foreign Language Teachers Regarding Teaching of English in Libya" – whose very title demands a "sic."

Omar's Mizzou career came to an unfortunate end in late November, when Columbia police arrested him for visiting a local high school and dragging a 14-year-old relative by her hair down the school's front steps. She apparently had offended Youssif by failing to wear her hijab in class. The New York Daily News reported this story and embarrassed the prize-winning J-School daily to run a tiny piece on Omar days later.
The J-School's urge to protect selected minorities – "Hey, I need some muscle over here" – mirrors that of the media at large. In late 2014, the state and national media uncritically accepted the propaganda coming out of Ferguson. When the lies were grudgingly exposed, the protesting students at MU stuck to the more comforting and empowering anti-white, anti-cop narrative. Having Ferguson sort of nearby gave the MU students a proud claim on victimization other campuses couldn't quite match.

To protest white privilege on campus, grad student Jonathan Butler went on a hunger strike. Butler, whose father made $8.4 million last year as a marketing exec, made the laughable claim to CNN, "I felt unsafe since the moment I stepped on this campus." Coming off a four-game losing streak, the football team may have felt unsafe about continuing to play in the SEC and joined the protest.

When asked whether the buck stopped with him, [Democratic Governor Jay] Nixon famously replied, "I don't, you know, I'm more, I just will have to say I don't spend a tremendous amount of time personalizing this vis-à-vis me."

What could be more dispositive of this assertion than fellow citizens celebrating after our experiencing the most dastardly attack in our history?

It has become a question of whether we'll awkwardly coexist as estranged neighbors, as Robert Putnam described in Bowling Alone, or whether it will turn to outright violence. Either outcome is not ideal. This is despite the image of an alternate reality presented on TV in ads, mindless television shows, and other narrative perpetuators. Those who lead sheltered lives are content to believe in this alternate reality, undisturbed by the more sinister, actual sociological circumstances, which from time to time cannot be ignored even by the most disengaged Americans.

Dutch Government Abandons Multicultrualism

In a historic reversal, the Dutch are abandoning government policies in support of multiculturalism and demanding intregration and acceptance of Dutch values from immigrants, mostly Muslims, who now constitute 6 percent of their population.

Immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language and no exceptions to obedience to Dutch law will be allowed for followers of sharia. In addition, the government will stop subsidizing Muslims and making special criteria for their employment...and will ban the burqa:

The Dutch have tasted the fruits of importing Islamic culture and have decided they don’t want any more. Western Europeans are experiencing similar second thoughts in many countries, including France, Sweden, and Denmark, but so far they have not elected governments willing to take this sort of action. But it is likely that once Holland acts, others will follow.
Now if only the United States gets the guts to insist that those who come here adapt to our ways, instead of vice versa.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that in Germany, multiculturalism has "utterly failed." Both Australia's ex-prime minister John Howard and Spain's ex-prime minister Jose Maria Aznar reached the same conclusion about multiculturalism in their countries.

White House Uses Good Intentions To Harm Civilians

David Quammen -- Yale grad, Rhodes scholar -- struck the perfect multicultural note. With the fury of a Puritan divine, he scolded those who want to ban commercial travel to West Africa. “How dare we turn our backs on Liberia,” said Quammen, “given the fact that this is a country that was founded in the 1820s, 1830s because of American slavery. We have a responsibility to stay connected to them and help them see this through.”

It is this, the logic of multiculturalism, that has dictated the White House response to the Ebola crisis. That logic, however, doesn’t fly with ordinary citizens. So the administration is forced to argue its case in any which way it can. Enter, stage left, the hapless Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention.

At Fox News, Bill O’Reilly called Frieden’s comments “stupid and irresponsible,” and in an interview Megyn Kelly challenged him aggressively. To Kelly’s question about the ban, Frieden responded in his cloying, Mr. Rogers-like way, “Above all do no harm.”

As he told the graduates of his alma mater, the uber progressive Oberlin College, in a 2012 commencement speech, his first job out of college was as “a community organizer for a health clinic.”

Frieden soon found just the place to do it, namely in the administration of New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. There he would lead the crusade against tobacco, trans fats, Big Gulps, and the ignorant infidels who enjoyed them.

As director of the CDC, Frieden -- Oberlin, Columbia, Yale -- would become one of the smart people. “Our information is clear and correct,” Frieden insisted to Megyn Kelly in spite of all evidence to the contrary. His motives were too pure and his IQ too high for that information to be otherwise.

Once among the elect, they secure their place by imputing new sins to those who resist -- racism, of course, but also sexism, classism, homophobia, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and soon -- one suspects -- Ebolaphobia.

Radical Teaching Group Undermines Learning Math

Teach for America groups across the country are committing themselves to “culturally responsive teaching,” a radical pedagogy used by communist Bill Ayers and other blatant anti-American indoctrinators.
The site, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Teach for America, says that because math is seen as a domain for old, white men, many students cannot identify with it. Therefore, educators should find ways to relate math to the lives of their students.

Radical Math provides hundreds of social justice math lessons obviously meant to indoctrinate. For example, lesson titles include “Sweatshop Accounting,” “Racism and Stop and Frisk,” “When Equal Isn’t Fair,” “The Square Root of a Fair Share” and “Home Buying While Brown or Black.”

In keeping with their racism-of-evil-white-men theme, the site uses a story, involving racism against African Americans, of course, to suggest that the idea that math is neutral, rational, and logical is a myth and the premise that 2 + 2 = 4 is “naive.”

A Conservative MP has said that Enoch Powell was right to warn that "non-Christian" immigration would cause social problems. In a letter to a constituent, Sir Gerald Howarth said that the recent Trojan Horse scandal showed that some of these immigrants have a different "ethos" to Christian schools, and that the government is right to intervene to stop them teaching their ideology to British students.
Earlier this year, 21 schools in Birmingham were investigated over an alleged takeover by Islamist extremists. Subsequent reports found that a small group of individuals had tried to impose a strict interpretation of Islam on the officially secular schools.

Americans go into a frenzy about insensitive language or politically incorrect behavior by some celebrities and public figures -- L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling, the "Duck Dynasty" TV family, celebrity chef Paula Deen, former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, and Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy. But if we are postmodern and sensitive, what do we say or do about premodern racists with nuclear weapons, like the North Koreans?

We should not confuse material progress with moral advancement. Just because Boko Haram members have cell phones and AK-47s does not mean that they have evolved much from their predecessors' days of whips and chains. And just because the Sultan of Brunei flies in private jets does mean that his worldview is any different from that of his forefathers who on horseback enforced the same Sharia law.
We should also reset our notion of multiculturalism. That is the popular campus fad that postulates all cultures are roughly equal and just different from one another -- as opposed to any one either being better or worse. Left unspoken is the universal standard by which we judge as evil the enslaving, stoning or whipping of the innocent. That moral belief system is Western to the core.

Harvard University Students Exhibit Courage, Bravery In Support of Conformity?

on Sunday evening, about 30 members of The Diversity Report, an organization which arose in response to issues raised during the “I, Too, Am Harvard” campaign and a town hall for Latino students, stood silently outside the Science Center with signs that spelled out “We Are Here.”
Statements were printed on the back of the signs expressing concerns that ranged from the lack of diversity on the Administrative Board and within the faculty to the lack of resources devoted to multicultural programming.

Sunday April 27, 2014 about 6:00 PM, three dozen extraordinarily courageous Harvard University students took positions on the Science Center Plaza, (Cambridge Street overpass). What made their stand courageous? It was on City property for one. It was political speech for another. No permission from the Harvard University campus police was necessary. Were these students defying the campus police?

They held letter signs as college students usually do at football games. They read, "We are diverse. We are here." Wow! That is brave on (or near) the Harvard University campus. Who knew there were any supporters of diversity on the Harvard College campus in Cambridge?

But seriously is there any opposition to diversity on any campus? Maybe at black colleges? Are humans opposed to diversity (without defining what the concept means) allowed to speak on campus without being called racists? This exhibits what contemporary students consider brave political activism. Standing with signs supporting what 90 percent or more of the campus population supports is bravery? It is extremely sad how much conformity exists on college campuses in 2014. Diversity of opinions is not tolerated.

So what did this effort indicate? That these brave young men and women, white, black, Asian, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, Spanish, whatever were standing strong for diversity? I don't mean any offense but they really looked to me as if they were part of a religious group, The Church of Diversity. It is like what I think of as The Church of Global Warming which took a name change to The Church of Climate Change. Non believers are shunned.

I noticed that there were no police officers present to protect these demonstrators from the majority who disagree with them. Oh I forgot. They are the majority. Nor were there any counter demonstrators anywhere in sight. Ya think they got the market on diversity shut tight?

College students are extremely conformist. They argue for intolerance of dissent in the name of tolerance. They argue for eliminating ethnic differences, forcing uniformity, in the name of diversity. They argue against evil America, which is the most diverse nation in the history of man. Can a nation be more diverse than the United States? At the same time they argue to elevate the Muslim religion over Christianity and Judaism. Muslims do not tolerate other religions. That is easily apparent by examining the practices and policies of the Muslim dominant nations. They harass, kill and chase non Muslims from their nations, while the United States embraces Muslims.

Students lack the ability for critical thought, for logical evaluation. They especially lack the courage to disagree with the dominant paradigm of the majority, i.e., their faculty mentors' positions.

I received a letter from its Office of Equity and Diversity Services notifying me that I was required to "complete the in-person Equal Opportunity and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policies and Procedures training." This is a leftist agenda for indoctrination, thought control and free speech suppression to which I shall refuse to submit. Let's look at it.
Ideas such as equity and equal opportunity, while having high emotional value, are vacuous analytical concepts.

I'm guilty of gross violation of equality of opportunity, racism and possibly sexism. Back in 1960, when interviewing people to establish a marital contract, every woman wasn't given an equal opportunity. I discriminated against not only white, Indian, Asian, Mexican and handicapped women but men of any race. My choices were confined to good-looking black women. You say, "Williams, that kind of discrimination doesn't harm anyone!" Nonsense! When I married Mrs. Williams, other women were harmed by having a reduced opportunity set.

Western values are under ruthless attack by the academic elite on college campuses across America. They want to replace personal liberty with government control and replace equality before the law with entitlement. The multiculturalism and diversity agenda is a cancer on our society, and our tax dollars and charitable donations are supporting it.

Individuals and groups of all sorts have always differed from one another in many ways, throughout centuries of history and in countries around the world. Left to themselves, people tend to sort themselves out into communities of like-minded neighbors.
This has been so obvious that only the intelligentsia could misconstrue it — and only ideologues could devote themselves to crusading against people's efforts to live and associate with other people who share their values and habits.



That may be true but Harvard University promotes diversity and multiculturalism for their campus and for the world. Yet they segregate their housing portfolio, restricting it to only full time Harvard affiliates. Within the buildings they move elder tenants into one segregating it further by age. Is that an example of how the intelligentsia corrupts its own standards? Or is it how the liberal elite sets standards for others but exempts itself from the standards?

Holland Quits Multiculturism

[Received without attribution] The Netherlands, where six per cent of the population is now Muslim,is scrapping multiculturalism: The Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands. A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads: "The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role. With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society. The letter continues: "A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens. It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands. The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants. For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law. The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner; "It is not the government's job to integrateimmigrants" The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress. More specifically, the government will impose a ban on face-covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013 Holland has done that whole liberal thing, and realized, it maybe too late,that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself. READERS NOTE: Muslim immigrants leave their countries of birth because of civil and political unrest "CREATED BY THE VERY NATURE OF THEIR CULTURE." Countries like Holland and Australia have an established way of life that actually works, so why embrace the unworkable? If Muslims do not wish to accept another culture, the answer is simple; "STAY WHERE YOU ARE! " This gives a whole new meaning to the term; 'Dutch Courage' Unfortunately, the USA and other countries politicians don't have the courage (YET) to do the same.
