California Police Save Woman Shot By Her Ex-Boyfriend

This is the dramatic moment a SWAT team rescued a 28-year-old woman who was held hostage and shot at point-blank range by her ex-boyfriend.
Armed police shot dead Kristin Bauer's former partner Andrew Bermudez outside an Office Depot store in Redlands, California, where she worked.
Heart-stopping footage shot at the scene shows the tactical police unit dragging a motionless Miss Bauer across the road to safety.
Police said the woman was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in a critical condition, CBS News reported.
Bermudez, who was identified by Miss Bauer's father, died at the scene.
'He did fire at her. The officers fired at him to try to stop that threat and be able to try to save her life,' Redlands Police chief Mark Garcia said.
'He came to the store, looking for her. She tried to get away and he followed her out of the store. At one point, he did fire a round in the store.'
Garcia said the shooting came after a two-hour stand-off outside the store - from about 2.20pm to 4.30pm PST - which followed a domestic incident between the former couple.
The tense scene was captured on local television and Bermudez was seen stroking petrified Miss Bauer's hair as negotiations with police were underway.

Miss Bauer's father, Gregory Bauer told the Redlands Daily Facts that his daughter phoned him during the confrontation.
'It was like background noise. She kept telling him, "You gotta let me go. You gotta let me go," and he said, "I'm not afraid to die".'
He told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that the phone went dead moments later.
Mr Bauer added that his daughter had dated the man for several months but she had recently broken up with him.
The father said her daughter's ex-boyfriend was usually calm and that something must have 'triggered' him.

Dixon hired Dave Shepard, a friend to kill Joseph Sonnier, his rival also a doctor who lived in Lubbock, Texas. Sonnier's first wife divorced him after 27 years. She was murdered by her second husband, who then  killed himself. Sonnier had three sons. Dixon had one. The first trial ended without a verdict.

Don't know enough about this young lady. But my reaction is that she may have felt humiliated by this young man. Maybe he did consider her a hillbilly, and beneath him. It may be the same class difference (real or imagined) as between Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias. Many people have poor or low self esteem. The testimony in the Arias trial showed that she was devoted to Travis and wanted to marry him. He seemed to be treating her as his sex slave which she was willing to be. She just wanted to marry the guy. When  he expressed his disdain for her, she lost it and killed him. 

That is not to say she was justified in killing him. Nor was Jayna in this murder either. Just that it may explain why it happened, and that there is no method for bringing that into the trial. Classism is seldom discussed or mentioned when it comes to bias and discrimination. If these men had expressed their dislike for the women for being black or lesbians they might have been able to use that bias, hate speech, as justification for murder. "He insulted me. He called me a N-word." "He called me a hillbilly." and "He called me a cripple." do not work as easily.

The night that Ryan Poston was shot dead by his on-again, off-again girlfriend he was supposed to meet a former Miss Ohio 2012 beauty queen for a date, an Ohio court heard on Thursday.
Audrey Bolte, who also finished runner-up in Miss USA, told prosecutors she was looking forward to seeing Poston, 29, at a bar to play pool and drink on October 12, 2012, but he failed to arrive.
That was because Shayna Hubers had shot him six times at home - during which she allegedly 'cackled' with glee claimed a cellmate of the accused, who claims the 24-year-old confessed to her while behind bars.

Prosecutors allege that Hubers shot Poston because she was furious he was trying to break up with her.
Hubers, who was 21 at the time, denies murdering her lawyer boyfriend and claims she shot him in self-defense.
Her trial began on Monday and during that time, Hubers has been held at the Campbell County jail in Newport.
Her romer cellmate testified to the court that Hubers joked about the shooting and said she was going to get off all charges.
'Did she ever laugh?' Commonwealth's Attorney Michelle Snodgrass asked Cecily Miller according to Cincinnati.com.
'Oh, yes.'
'About what?'
'About shooting him in the face and giving him the nose job he always wanted,' said Miller. 'That's what bothered me – she cackled.'

Also on the stand was Vernon West, who lived in the condo below Poston with his wife Doris.
They testified they returned home at around 8.30pm and heard a woman crying on a balcony above.
West said that she returned inside the home at around 8.50pm and then he heard two pops that at first he thought were fireworks and then four more and then a thud.
'The first two shots, I thought might have been fireworks,' Vernon West testified according to Cincinnati.com.
'But a few seconds later, I heard four shots, and I knew that wasn't fireworks.'
Vernon West also said that they did not hear a physical fight or arguing before the shots.
Hubers, who was 21 at the time, claimed she was acting in self-defense because the young attorney was shoving and hitting her, but during an interview with police she was quoted as telling a detective she gave Posten 'the nose job he wanted.'
On the first day of testimony Tuesday, jurors were shown a video of the defendant's interview with police following the slaying.
'He was screaming at me at the top of his lungs after he had thrown me around the room,' the woman told a detective sitting across from her, reported Cincinnati.com.
'I shot him enough times to kill him,' she said, 'so that he wouldn't suffer... He was laying there, twitching and making noises, and I shot him in the head.
'I was watching him die. it was painful to watch him die and to know that I had done that,' reported WCPO.
Hubers then described her late boyfriend of one year as 'vain' about his looks.
'I shot him right here,' she said in the video as she pointed to her nose. 'I gave him his nose job he wanted.'

'He said, 'You're just a hillbilly from Kentucky.' And I am. I guess the hillbilly came out in me, and I took up for myself,' she told police in the recording played in court.

Hubers graduated from Lexington's Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 2009.
In the fall of 2010, she made the Dean's List at the University of Kentucky as a sophomore psychology major. Zevely said she is close with her parents, and her mother spent the day with her in Northern Kentucky prior to the shooting.

Deputies were called twice to the home in Rogersville. After the second time Johnny Allen Richards, 33, and Erin Brooke Lawson, 32, allegedly knocked on the neighbors door, hit the victim with a rake with enough force to break the handle, then stabbed the victim in the arm with the broken end of the handle.
That’s when Hawkins County deputies were called to the house for a third time.
“I did observe several lacerations on (the neighbor) consistent with how he stated he was injured,” the arresting officer wrote in the police report. “There was blood on the end of the rake handle that was recovered at the scene. (The neighbor) stated the Mr. Richards hit him with a 2-by-2 stick, and it was recovered at the scene.”

A murderous, spurned lover fatally shot his ex-girlfriend, then cruelly taunted her new boyfriend and several of her relatives — boasting that he was the “grim reaper” before getting killed in a gunfight with cops early Tuesday morning.

Boyce said Mohammed, 55, scrambled into her car, where Branch repeatedly shot her.
Branch then got back into his car and chased Hickman around the lot, repeatedly firing through the open windows as Hickman ran and hid behind parked cars, sources said.
Branch finally gave up, drove back to Mohammed’s car and shot her repeatedly until he ran out of ammo and drove off, sources said.

Michigan State Senator Suspected Of Firing Numerous Shots At His Ex-wife's Car

State Sen. Virgil K. Smith, suspected of firing numerous shots at his ex-wife's car early Sunday, told investigators it was the stupidest thing he had done in his life, according to police.
The incident occurred after the Detroit Democrat's ex-wife pushed her way into the house and attempted to attack another woman who was in Smith's bed, according to police. Smith told police she threw a chair at the windows of his house and he shot at her car.

Smith, a graduate of Michigan State and Western Michigan universities, was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2002. He was elected to the Senate in 2010. His father, Virgil Smith Jr., is presiding judge in Wayne County Family Juvenile Court and served more than 20 years in the Legislature.

Former Attorney General Mike Cox said Monday that the crimes Smith is accused of don't fit with that ballot proposal approved by voters in 2010 that prohibits people from holding state elective office if they were convicted of a felony that involved "dishonesty, deceit, fraud or a breach of the public trust."
"That wouldn't have anything to do with him holding public office," Cox said. "Traditionally, it's misconduct in public office or embezzlement or something like that."

This isn't Smith's first run-in with law enforcement, He was convicted twice in 2004 of drinking and driving — first in February of operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor in Lansing and in August of operating while intoxicated offense in Chelsea. His license was revoked because he had two or more drunken-driving convictions within seven years, according to the Michigan Department of State.

Prior to that, while in college, Smith was arrested twice in two shoplifting-related cases. In February 2002, when Smith was in his early 20s, he dropped a philosophy book down his pants at the Student Book Store in East Lansing, according to police records. He was caught while leaving the store and handed the book back but gave police a false name and birth date, according to the report. He was arrested on disorderly conduct and presenting a false identification, later sentenced to a $250 fine and probation.
Before that incident, he'd been arrested in July 2001 while trying to flee a Meijer store in Okemos with a bottle of tequila, hiding the bottle in his sweatpants. He pleaded guilty in that case to retail fraud, according to previous reports.

In a legal filing that reads more like a soap-opera script, Amy Marie Cooper says she dated Martin Priest, 36, for four years but claims she had no idea he was still living with his wife Tianna, 32, at the time, according to her Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
Cooper says she ended her relationship with Priest in 2012, when she found out his wife was pregnant, but that she still had “feelings for him,” according to court papers.
A year later, Cooper claims Priest came crawling back, crying that his marriage was “irretrievably broken down and that he was a victim of abuse from his wife.”
He also “claimed that another woman, Carrie Wharton, was pregnant with his child . . . and likewise abused him,” Cooper says in the legal filing.
Priest, who works for Daiwa Capital Markets, allegedly told Cooper he “was in dire need of money in order to protect himself and his children from his wife and pay Carrie to abort her unborn child.”
Cooper says she finally caved when Priest claimed he wanted to rekindle their romance — and lent him $65,000, according to court papers.

June Is For Lovers

Wonderful June, long daylight hours, the longest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere). A period to celebrate, to enjoy the environment. When it rains it is a warm rain. Not threatening. June 2014 it brought into my life a new group of creepy, crawly, Communists from New Hampshire. As usual the group of sociopaths is led by a black racist homosexual. They are double victims. If exposed, they can always plead racism. You would think there are not enough black racist homosexuals in Massachusetts, where I'm currently stuck. The home of incubators for limousine liberals. Where some of the brightest young people in the nation are trained to stop thinking. It is a continuation of what the public schools taught them. Some of these young people were lucky enough to avoid them. They are conditioned to conform, to obey authority and not to question what the ruling class says. They are encouraged to admire the elected criminal class, to focus on not hurting anyone's feelings no matter what they do. Logic is unknown or discouraged when applied to public and private discourse. Feelings are what matter. Not saying or doing anything that hurts any member of prominent victim groups.

For the past 43 years up to nine crime families, FBI informants, local police employees, and more recently joining the campaign to destroy my life, my career and my reputation, is the Harvard University campus police. It is why I call them the bottom feeders. After 43 years of abuses by government and private criminals, these campus cops attack a carcass, and enjoy every minute of it. What makes them such a pathetic group of misguided law enforcement professionals, is that they join many others who believe they are omniscient, and morally superior to others. It is a toxic mix of false beliefs. It leads to serious irreparable harms to others because these deluded persons carry nine millimeter loaded guns and wear badges from the state government. They have the power to kill, to lie about it and get away with it.

Who knew there were even more depraved predators than the Harvard University campus police. But yes Virginia there are people like that. They appear to be police employees from New Hampshire who do not have enough vulnerable persons in New Hampshire. They need to travel to Massachusetts to prey on elder persons. Are they beneath the bottom feeders?

So what is there to do? Under the current occupants of the White House, Communists are a protected class in America. In 2013 the FBI captured and arrested (shocking I know) six alleged Russian spies. The White House ordered them to be immediately sent back to Russia without trial, punishment or questioning. The lawless U.S. Attorney General advocated giving terrorists trials in New York City for the circus value, but not spies. It appears that under this administration the interests of every other country, especially those who express open hatred and kill Americans, have a higher priority than the interests of the United States and Americans. One of the better looking women spies became a celebrity in Russia, hosted a TV show after a brief modeling career.

So what good does seeking relief from the FBI bring? Not so much. Especially in Massachusetts where they have a long history of enabling crime bosses to kill their rivals, and to frame unpopular men for murder. The U.S. Department of Justice leads the way destroying the legal system. The special investigator found one FBI Special Agent, only one, problematic. Working alone he was able to corrupt the entire Boston office, the Massachusetts State police and many local police departments. He was employed at the local power company, a reward for his services to the area. He was under consideration to be appointed police commissioner of Boston. Massachusetts corporations and politicians know how to show their appreciation.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts employs many capable people with common sense and integrity. But for some reason the only ones I have been allowed to interact with, who I've had access to, are the ones who work with and for criminals. For 43 years I've been surrounded by hateful and hostile people. Many of them worked for taxpayer funded human services corporations and agencies, whose mission is to heal and to protect vulnerable persons. But in my case they were no different than the domestic criminals or the new imported ones from New Hampshire who abuse me in June 2014.

After growing up among loving people, I was surprised to learn when I came to Massachusetts for law school, that the population consists of people who do not know how to love. They seem to interact with each other through hate and fighting. It took me many years to see that there are a lot of broken people in this part of the country. Are they all in Massachusetts? The imports from New Hampshire are worse. Maybe due to insecurity they try to outdo the Massachusetts haters to show that they too can be extremely obnoxious. I am still shocked at how consistently the people in Massachusetts, maybe it is a New England problem, are hateful, hostile and hurtful. Maybe that is why there is so much emphasis on not hurting other people's feelings. It is what they do naturally.

Why do so many police, psychiatrists, psychologists, politicians and journalists have such strong negative attitudes and opinions towards vulnerable persons? I realized that it is because they think of persons with disabilities as criminals. It explains some of the motivations of the bottom feeders and those beneath the bottom feeders. They only act according to the paradigms promoted in media and emphasized by human services professionals every time there is a crime glamorized by journalists. In June 2014, a student brought his rifle to his school in Oregon. He killed one student. This was immediately national news. Two reasons drive nationalizing that event. Liberals demonize the Second Amendment and gun possession. It serves the liberal masters of journalists well. Conservatives demonize persons accused of mental illness. Even though there is no causal connection between made up (fake) illnesses and violence, it doesn't matter to journalists. They believe it so it must be true.

When someone says, "You're crazy." they're not just saying you have a disability, your mind may be impaired due to injury. They are saying "You are a criminal." "You are dangerous." "You must be kept under surveillance, harassed, provoked, and tested by control freaks, predators and sadists." Many of these predators who hate persons with disabilities have PhDs., M.D.s, and are licensed by the state. Many wear badges and carry loaded guns.

Frequently I wonder if deaths of innocents is an issue of the highest priority among journalists why do they seldom write about the 90,000 to 100,000 innocent patients who die each year due to medical negligence? That is a matter that is under human control. It just needs the attention of medical professionals. But with their egos it is difficult to get their attention. It is easier to attack vulnerable citizens who have been declared disabled, who cannot fight back in the media or in person. Demonizing persons with disabilities makes them identifiable prey for sadists among the police, the human services industry as well as among the public. It is what encourages these misguided transients from New Hampshire and the Massachusetts predators to continue their abuses. Add to that the freedom from accountability for Harvard University employees and the situation is ripe for an endless criminal harassment campaign against one of their elder disabled tenants. It is why the superintendents of the Harvard University residential buildings enjoy ridiculing, humiliating and harassing such persons.

In any case I'm going to enjoy the long days of summer light while I can and ignore the miserable criminals who follow me and who harass me each day. I'm aware that their goal is to make me as miserable as they are. But they are unable to do that. I got a lot of loving when I was young. They will never know what they missed.

A man boarded an airplane and took his seat. As he settled in, he glanced up & saw the a very beautiful woman boarding the plane.

He soon realized she was heading straight towards his seat. As fate would have it, she took the seat right beside his.
