Whistle Blower Fired After Exposing Waste of Funds

"Nonie Pegoraro, then a senior director in the Office of Clinical and Health Services Research, says she was fired in May 2009 for trying to expose the widespread diversion of federal funds that properly belonged to the cash-strapped Health and Hospitals Corp.
