Gelzinis Accepts FBI Mythology
Gelzinis argues that the woman who identified Bulger and his partner has nothing to fear. He accepts as fact that Martorano and Weeks gave up all they had to give up. That requires believing the fantasy that the FBI and US Attorneys who questioned Martorano and Weeks actually tried to get them to reveal secrets. Martorano received $20,000 to restart his life after serving about seven months for each murder he admitted. That punishment and reward sounds more like he was compensated for the homicides by government officials. It is seems as if the government is now run by organized crime. The bosses have their detail men and women (Bulger, Martorano, Weeks, Flemmi) who do the hard work of harm and death while the bosses work comfortably in their air conditioned taxpayer funded offices. How can politicians be held accountable for legislated thefts of taxpayer funds if the police mechanisms are staffed by weak men and women who share the relaxed rectitude?

"If the Icelandic tipster had anything to fear after diming Whitey Bulger out to the FBI, then John Martorano and Kevin Weeks and Teresa Stanley, to name just a few, would already be dead."
