Boston FBI Continues to Expose Citizens Who Fight Crime

Providing "the identity of individuals who assist the FBI in solving crimes" is what John Connolly did for James Bulger. How has the FBI even in Boston addressed the overt corruption of that one office? There is no change in how that office operates, except for the names of the Special Agents in Charge. Bringing in new agents who are clueless about corruption will not end the abuses. Moreover although the high echelon informant program was allegedly shut down, similar abuses continue by the Witness Security program where criminals protected by the FBI and the US Marshals commit crimes for their crime bosses. In Boston too many civilians share the relaxed rectitude of the FBI and their charming detail men and women.

"FBI Boston Special Agent in Charge Richard DesLauriers’ spokesman, Special Agent Gregory Comcowich, said in a statement, “The FBI has a long-standing policy not to provide the identity of individuals who assist the FBI in solving crimes.”
