Informant Crimes Go Unpunished
Misadventures by police informants and FBI informants are many and varied. Homicide is the most egregious. But lesser crimes are regularly tolerated by the police and the FBI. Civilians are targeted for personal, political and economic reasons. Criminals have government protection. There is no place for their victims to go. Police refuse to act. The FBI pretends they know nothing. Too many citizens share the relaxed rectitude of corrupt officials. Courts protect police and the FBI. How many judges are there in this country like Mark Wolf who fearlessly ruled against the FBI? US Rep. Lynch's effort is admirable. Few elected officials are willing to recognize and address criminal abuses of law enforcement agencies.

"Personal relief from the tyranny inflicted upon one family by a predator such as Whitey, who operated under the protection of the government.
[. . .]
And personal relief from the kind of maddening logic that says the U.S. government can go into business with a stone-cold killer ... and there is nothing you can do about it."
