White House Using Taxpayer Funds To Support Teeny, Tiny Amount of Iranian Terrorism

It's Just This Little Bit of Money

That honorable small insignificant number. This small amount of money is insignificant, a small percentage of ($150 billion) the money going to Iran. Like the small number of Muslims who support terror to implement Sharia Law. Only about 10 percent? Of 1.6 billion Muslims? Huh? 160 million and a larger percentage supports Sharia Law Over the US Constitution. Chump change?

[From article]
When asked about whether some the $150 billion in sanctions relief to Iran would go to terrorist groups, Kerry reiterated that, after settling debts, Iran would receive closer to $55 billion. He conceded some of that could go to groups considered terrorists, saying there was nothing the U.S. could do to prevent that.
"I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists," he said in the interview in Davos, referring to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. "You know, to some degree, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented."
[. . .]
Nothing the U.S. could do to prevent the Iranians from using the money to attack America or our interests? That's idiotic. Of course, we could have foregone the pleasure of inking a deal with Iran in the first place. That would have kept the money out of their hands, and who knows? The sanctions may have eventually brought down the government.
Instead, we have empowered the radical America-haters and enabled Iranian ambitions to dominate the region. It may work out to be the most spectacular blunder in the history of diplomacy – if anyone is left around to write about it.
That Kerry felt compelled to state the obvious about Iran funding terrorists while claiming there's nothing we can do about it shows how clueless he and the president truly are about the ramifications of giving fanatical Muslims the means to inflict harm on the U.S.

Clinton Lawyers Provided Access to Classified Emails, No Oversight From Government Investigators

This is what happens when lawyers with relaxed rectitude run the government. The same thing happened in 2009, when Harvard University black studies professor Henry Gates, Jr. was arrested by city police. A private attorney met with the city solicitor, not a state prosecutor, without arraignment, and dismissed the charge without having jurisdiction to do so. It is how lawyers abuse their privileges and when confronted they assert they are officers of the court. Ahem! It raises the question of how thoroughly the White House and its acolyte, Eric "White people are cowards" Holder corrupted the Department of Justice. J. Christian Adams revealed what was done in the civil rights division in his book, Injustice. Also see John Fund and Hans van Spakovsky's book, Who's Counting?: How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk. Hope that a less corrupt president is elected in  2016 and makes an attempt to clean up the mess.

[From article]
Clinton’s private lawyer got his way when he pushed back after being asked to delete all copies of a classified email—a level of deference an expert calls ‘far from the norm.’
The State Department put up virtually no resistance when Hillary Clinton’s private lawyer requested to keep copies of her emails—even though those emails contained classified information, and even though it was unclear whether the attorney was cleared to see such secrets.Experts on the handling of classified information tell The Daily Beast that the seemingly chummy arrangement between Clinton’s lawyer and her former State Department aides was “quite unusual.”
[. . .]
Patrick F. Kennedy, the undersecretary of state for management, who had worked under Clinton, asked Kendall to delete all electronic copies of the message in his possession. (Copies were sent to the State Department.)
But Kendall resisted, saying he needed a full record of his own of the 55,000 pages of emails Clinton had sent, in order to respond to information requests from a House committee investigating the 2012 attacks on U.S. officials in Benghazi, Libya, and from the inspectors general of the State Department and the intelligence agencies.
“I therefore do not believe it would be prudent to delete” the email from the “master copies” that Kendall’s firm was maintaining, he wrote.
There is no indication that Kennedy, who oversees physical and information security for the State Department, protested the private lawyer’s position or tried further to persuade Kendall to delete the classified email.
[. . .]

“There are a number of attorneys around who handle clients and cases involving classified information. They are almost never allowed to retain classified material in their office, whether they have a safe or not. Sometimes they are not even allowed to review the classified information, even if they are cleared for it, because an agency will say they don’t have a ‘need to know.’ In any event, the deference shown to Mr. Kendall by the State Department was quite unusual.”
[. . .]
The arrangement with Kendall has been previously reported. But the documents reveal new details about what was happening inside the State Department as officials moved ahead with the unorthodox setup.
At one point, a State Department lawyer questioned whether Kendall or one of his associates, Katherine Turner, was qualified to receive and maintain classified information.
[. . .]

The question of whether Kendall should be allowed to keep classified email received new scrutiny in July 2015, after investigators found additional Clinton emails that they thought contained classified information.
At the time, Grassley said that at least two emails contained “top secret, sensitive compartmented information.” Investigators found that Clinton’s emails contained information from at least five intelligence agencies.

Columbia University, Dean Of Journalism School, and The Note In The Bedroom

[From article]
In the current issue of the New Yorker, Steve Coll, Dean of the Columbia University School of Journalism, has a brief piece on Hillary Clinton’s private email problems. He traces the current scandal to…Rush Limbaugh!
[. . .]
Hillary Clinton, in her memoir “Living History,” recounts her struggle to defend her privacy while residing in the White House. Some of her stories have a gothic tone. After Bill Clinton’s first inauguration, Harry and Linda Thomason, friends from Hollywood, found a jocular note under a pillow in the Lincoln Bedroom. It was from Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio host. How did the note get there?
[. . .]

Steve Coll, Dean, Columbia Journalism School

Was Rush George H.W. Bush’s last Lincoln Bedroom guest? Did he really leave a note? Or did the White House staff already detest the Clintons so much that someone left the note as a joke? I don’t know. Perhaps Rush can tell us. But the real question is, what on God’s green Earth does this have to do with Hillary Clinton’s decision to conduct official State Department business on an unsecured, off-the-books server? Mr. Coll thinks it is a matter of privacy, explained by Rush’s “haunting” of the White House:
[. . .]
See, here’s the thing: privacy was never the question. No one cares if Hillary uses a private email system to schedule her yoga lessons and plan her daughter’s wedding. On the contrary: that is what everyone does, and it would be inappropriate to use the official (and relatively secure) State Department system for this purpose.
Rather, the issue is that Hillary chose to carry on her official State Department correspondence, in which she had no legitimate expectation of privacy, through the home server that housed information on yoga lessons. Hillary is in trouble because 1) her decision to circumvent the State Department computer system for substantially all of her official communications unquestionably violated State Department policy, and 2) if she had classified information on her home server–as she evidently did–she is in violation of federal criminal statutes.
[. . .]

You might think that this is a trivial deconstruction of an unusually stupid magazine article, and you would probably be right. But note: Steve Coll currently is the dean of what used to be regarded as America’s foremost school of journalism. It may still be, for all I know. Not only that, Coll was the managing editor of the Washington Post from 1998 to 2005, has won a Pulitzer prize, has authored numerous prize-winning books and has served as president of the New America Foundation. He is a model of contemporary liberalism, and he apparently doesn’t understand that Hillary’s use of a private email system for official correspondence has nothing to do with privacy. Let alone with Rush Limbaugh’s haunting the White House. Sadly, this is the state of today’s dominant, Democratic Party news media.
[. . .]

Rush Limbaugh, Lives Rent Free in the Minds of Many

[Limbaugh replies]
Here it is 2015 and there’s a story in the New Yorker about her e-mail server, and she remembers something that happened in 1993 that’s at the top of her mind. This is why I say I live rent free in these people’s heads.
[. . .]
There were things happening in the White House she wasn’t controlling, things happening in the White House she didn’t know, and if it was that easy, if it was that easy to get that close to her, like a note under the pillow in the Lincoln Bedroom and suspiciously out of place furniture, why, I need my own e-mail server. I mean, that’s the thinking.

Legal Analysis Of Clinton Email Issue By A Liberal Supporter

[From article]
Important Point 5 And thus, the worry. SOS Clinton, when she left office, failed to turn over official records of the United States for almost 2 years. We know this because she now has, belatedly, turned over 55,000 pages of records to the State Department. Assume that the failure to turn over the documents was an accident -- doesn't matter, per the regs, she is still subject to criminal prosecution, and 18 USC 641 is broad enough to encompass even accidental retention. Worse still, it was unlawful for her to remove the documents from the state department or to "conceal" them on her server and not turn them over. She could be arrested, forfeit office, and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States....forever.*
So, that is my legal analysis. I leave it to the audience to tell me how wrong I am....but please, everyone, stop pretending that failing to turn over records when she left office was not a big deal for HRC.

Was Kerry and Obama's Strategy Intentional, To Harm Israel?

[From article]
The obsession by the Obama-Kerry administration with imposing a cease-fire on the warring parties in the Hamas-Israel war will go down in history as one of the most strategic mistakes in military history.
Here is a fact the administration deliberately and maliciously ignored: In the history of modern warfare, no terrorist group has ever honored a cease-fire. Hamas has broken every cease-fire it ever said it would honor. Every single one.
Even the Israel-Hamas 2012 cease fire, brokered by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was simply agreed to by Hamas to give it an opportunity to restock its military arsenal, pressure Israel to lift its restrictions on the import of cement and steel into Gaza – material that Clinton said would be used to build hospitals and schools, but in fact was used to build a network of underground tunnels into Israel and build a subterranean network of underground bunkers, weapons storage facilities and launching
pads.

Will City Comply With Order To Release Records?

[This letter was published in the print edition of the Cambridge Chronicle on May 24, 2012, page 10.]

Congratulations to the editor of the Chronicle for persistence to get these documents. It is not clear that the city will comply with the finding by the Supervisor of Public Records. In a previous case the Chronicle stopped after the Supervisor determined the city must reveal the questions asked of new hires about their thoughts about other employees. The city refused to release those records. If the city still refuses to comply with this determination it can be pursued in state court, where attorneys fees can be awarded. Cambridge is like the Obama administration saying they are compassionate and transparent but if you are one of the few citizens who watch what the councilors and the manager (and the President) do it is clear they are a lawless bunch of self serving politicians with no concern for ordinary citizens.
