It makes as much sense to rant about the NRA as to blame the Auto Club of America or the National Knife Collectors Association.
Rather, what we have is yet another mass murder committed by a schizophrenic — just like those of Seung-Hui Cho, Jared Loughner, James Holmes, and Adam Lanza.
Yes, they all used guns. Also, they were all males. They were all college-aged. They all had hair. Those are not distinctive characteristics.
When the last five mass murderers share something that only 1 percent of the population has, I think we’ve found the relevant common denominator.
[. . .]
I’m one of the few who have read all 141 pages. It is a tale of increasing delusions, paranoia, hallucinations, and wild, grandiose self-assessments. In other words, it is a slightly less whiny version of Obama’s first inaugural address.
[. . .]
But liberals are more worried about “stigmatizing” the mentally ill, than the occasional mass murder.
Coulter shares a common denominator with liberals and conservatives, believing in psychiatry, a system of social control with no Due Process protections. The same system was used by Nazi doctors and Stalin’s psychiatrists to incarcerate those with "wrong" opinions. Coulter believes that American psychiatrists have had their genes cleansed of mendacity, greed and sadism. Psychiatry is a system of personal opinions masquerading as science. If Coulter would spend as much time reading how psychiatric illnesses are created (by consensus) as she spent reading “141 pages of delusions" by what she calls "a schizophrenic" she might be able to see though the misguided fantasies of the psychiatric industry.
Psychiatry illnesses are defined as human emotions, speech and behavior which psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. What the Santa Barbara stabber (and the previous mass shooters) did was a crime, evil. But cool and hip Ann Coulter, like Obama and his elitist control freaks prefer speaking in grandiose psychiatric terms, which sounds a lot like Obama’s speeches, having no referent to reality.
Coulter appears to be clueless of the known causal connection between psychiatric drugs and violence. The drug industry says it is only when the customers stop taking their drug products. But if stopping taking the drugs causes violence, why start?
Coulter says, “It makes as much sense to rant about the NRA as to blame the Auto Club of America or the National Knife Collectors Association.” Yes and it makes as much sense to blame mental illness for violence, which has no causal connection to violence, except in the minds of Coulter and E. Fuller Torrey.
