PBS Broadcasts Feature Showing Persons With Disabilties as Human Beings

This couple appears in the film to be healthy, handsome and normal.

After a few years of pestering, with retaliatory threats because of my repeated questions, why persons with disabilities were never portrayed on taxpayer funded PBS stations in Boston, the stations actually (will wonders never cease?) broadcast a few full length features by independent videographers. The one being broadcast in January 2016 on WGBH-TV Boston and other PBS stations shows five people diagnosed with autism and their thoughts on love. They appear to be no different than thoughts expressed by poets and philosophers through the ages, and ordinary people alive today. The definitions expressed are pretty good. Two of the persons shown do not appear to have any serious illness. Nonetheless it is curious that the producer focused on love. Human services industry professionals assist people they declare disabled. Do they ever encourage them to enjoy love and romantic relationships as other people do?

Then there are three (of six) cable access television stations, CCTV, in Cambridge, MA (which receives about $1 million each year from the City). The executive director with a straight face explained to me that they could not find any features showing persons with disabilities to broadcast, as the reason why persons with disabilities seldom appeared on that station. That is Cambridge, MA the host city of Harvard University, MIT and Lesley University. The morally superior city which has a misguided self image as holier than thou.

Permanent host of PBS Greater Boston James Braude, former Cambridge, MA City Councilor omits persons with disabilities from appearing as guests on his show. He continues the tradition of Emily Rooney his predecessor.

Banning persons with disabilities is bad enough. The same show invites black people, women, homosexuals and Muslims to speak about how they experience discrimination. In Braude's mind everybody loves people with disabilities. Not so. They just don't think about them. For Braude every time there is a mass shooting he expresses a bigoted view, stereotyping people with disabilities as dangerous, violent and likely to take up arms and shoot up a theater or school. Braude objects vigorously to stereotyping black people, women, homosexuals and Muslims. But not so much for persons with disabilities, who he continues to insult on his taxpayer funded television show.

The same with CBS News' prestigous commentator, Andy Rooney's daughter, Emily Rooney. She was news director at WCVB-TV, Boston before she moved to public television. She now hosts a weekly show called Beat The Press, where her guests attack and ridicule conservative media errors, but ignore liberal bias. It is humorous to watch them make fools of themselves. Rooney refused to invite persons with disabilities on Greater Boston when she was the host. On Beat The Press she has a regular black lesbian, who hosts the Basic Black show, a few homosexuals, other black Harvard University elitists, but never, never anyone with a disability. For Rooney people with disabilities have no ability to repeat the liberal mantra and are unable to criticize, to listen to, or to read what is written, broadcast, published and posted online.

Taxpayer funded WGBH-TV, Boston's PBS station has a weekly show called Basic Black. Only upper class professional black people, e.g., professors, celebrities, journalists, are permitted on the show, which focuses on how black people can get more power and more money. They discuss how racist white people are, and how they enjoy privileges, which black people do not. People with disabilities are never seen on Basic Black or on WGBH, except as noted herein in recent days on independent shows. Not even black people with disabilities. That too is remarkable.

Harvard University when confronted with its bias against disability, marches out the few black disabled students they allow to matriculate. Never are white people with disabilities recognized at Harvard University. That is a fact. Over the past 20 years I am a tenant at a building owned and operated by the President and Fellows of Harvard College. Harvard University campus police employees and building superintendents conducted and conduct a brutal criminal harassment campaign every day and every night. They disturb my sleep every one or two hours. They provoke, insult, ridicule, and humiliate me saying "He's crazy." But when I seek assistance from state and local taxpayer funded human services agencies they tell me, "There's nothing wrong with you." Their students tamper with my home computer, accessing it remotely to sabotage my use. For the elite at Harvard University and on public TV, disabled people are preferred targets for criminal abuse and bullying. No one listens to them and no one gives them a platform to petition for equal treatment by the four major approved victim groups.

Filmmaker Sophie and her son Ben

Sophie and Ben
Short about disabled child, raised by alternative family.

Aunt Dona and Grandmother Mimi

Film maker Sophie recognized she was unable to be so unselfish to take care of her aunt as her grandmother took care of her aunt.

Her son Ben, was diagnosed as having autism, as she had a history of autism. Aunt Dona asked to leave public schools in second grade. Ben entered school in second grade.

Ben: "Differences are what makes us human. I mean, imagine if we were all the exact same person. The world would be a boring place! And now since, and since we have differences that makes the, that makes the world an entertaining, that makes the world unique. And I feel like autism and Asperger's Syndrome are just a difference, where your brain is built a different way, and it's completely fine to be different because it's what makes us human."

Nature Rules, Proof At Lesley University

These images demonstrate that nature will have its way no matter what man does. Global warming enthusiasts insist that man has harmed the environment especially the atmosphere irreparably. But some scientists indicate that nature will do what it must to achieve its end, i.e., to maintain its equilibrium. If the earth gets too hot techtonic plates will move to allow heat to escape. They are called earthquakes.

Whatever misguided actions of man will be compensated for by nature. If it requires eliminating man that too will happen. Life will continue with or without man. In view of the growing number of intelligent robots it is questionable that man will survive or even be necessary soon. So global warming is not a matter to be obsessed with. Robots will rule. One article suggested that man will be pets of robots. Hehe.

In these images you can see green plants, weeds perhaps, growing up through concrete sidewalks at Lesley University in early June 2015. It is not unique. It happens a lot. Man's attempt to regularize nature making walkways even and level, will be adapted to suit the needs of nature.

Black Teen Attacks 74-year-old Woman Near University Campuses in Cambridge, MA

No bystanders? Building on left of image is the Cronkhite Center of the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University. Other side of Brattle Street is the Episcopal Divinity School and Lesley University. No one around on aTuesday afternoon, at 3:30 PM?

[From article]
The woman told officers that an unknown suspect, around 15 years old, knocked her to the ground on March 31 shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the area of Brattle and Ash streets and dragged her for several feet, according to the police report.
Police said her coat was covered in dirt and leaves. The suspect — described as a 5-foot, 10-inch black male with an athletic build — took the woman’s purse, which contained credit cards, the woman’s driver’s license and $100 in cash, police said.

Justice Department Agreement With Lesley University May Bring Food Police

[From article]
“By implementing this agreement, Lesley University will ensure students with celiac disease and other food allergies can obtain safe and nutritional food options,” said Thomas E. Perez, who then was assistant attorney general for the U.S. Civil Rights Division.
“The agreement ensures that Lesley’s meal program is attentive to the schedules and demands of college students with food allergies, an issue colleges and universities across the country need to consider.”

Woman Prison Guard Pregnant By Inmate Killer of Two Cops

There is a compelling reason to love the priorities of the law enforcement community in Massachusetts. Here's a charming man who was sentenced to death after being  convicted of killing two police officers. While in federal prison he gets a prison guard pregnant. But in Cambridge MA police working with crime families and those inspiring FBI informants, feminists, black racists and homosexuals, attack a 70-year-old white man and bar him from speaking with women and other kinds of humans. Shows how misguided the limousine liberals are in the god-forsaken host city of Harvard University, Lesley University and MIT.

Cambridge Police Commissioner Reports Low Crime Statistics

[Last updated Tuesday February 6, 2013 3:50 AM ET]
The evening after I posted this essay, Cambridge police conducted surveillance as I did errands. The usual women were present as bait. I did not pursue the bait. It is not clear if the source was the husband of the Attorney General or a psychiatrist on this occasion. Keep in mind that the police say "He's mentally ill." They stood by while crime families took turns harassing me for many years. The response to exercising a Constitutionally guaranteed right is a brutal campaign of harassment and provocation at my residence. One more felony that remains unaddressed, uninvestigated and unreported. More evidence of how unreliable the Commissioner's statistics are.

I'm told that there are man-hating women, feminists who are from New Hampshire that are participating in this abuse. I do not know of any connection to the post about the Commissioner's statistics.

Mark Twain: "There are lies. Damn Lies. And then there are statistics."

Robert Haas, Cambridge
Police Commissioner

This report states, "Cambridge registered the lowest number of violent crime (sic) last year than has ever been recorded in the 44 years of collecting data," according to the Police Commissioner. He does not address non violent crime, or criminal statutes that are not enforced. Moreover does this "snapshot" include crimes committed and addressed on the Harvard University campus, the MIT campus and the Lesley University campus? Cambridge has a high population of college students, researchers and faculty. Do those groups have a high violent crime profile?

Do these stats include reports of crime by CSX Special Police in Cambridge? Transit police? There is a pattern to police reporting crime. When it is time for contract negotiations low crime stats are the norm. When it is time for budget allocations the stats are of higher crime, necessitating more taxpayer funds. Police departments are able to reduce crime stats by not reporting crimes, or by making the report of lesser crime, e.g.,  making them into non violent crimes. An assault can be made into a verbal dispute. Police are clever at manipulating their reports, or by not making a report at all. It is one way that criminal acts can be ignored because there are no reports of them occurring.

Low crime statistics are essential to keeping real estate values high. Real estate values are another incentive to lessen the reports of serious crime. People do not want to live in, or move to a city with a high violent crime rate. This way Cambridge real estate agents can say, "We are not Chicago. We are not Philadelphia. We are not Camden. See how few crimes we have? It is written in the Cambridge Chronicle reported by the Police Commissioner."

Then there is the problem of my experiences. Just one ordinary civilian  living amongst the high and mighty students and faculty of this academic enclave. Each day at least two, maybe more state felony statutes and one US felony statute is violated against me alone. When they ask me "Why are you the only one?" I often ask them back, "Why am I the only one who gets harassed every day?" But I get no answer. So for the past 17 years three felonies against me  alone. Not reported. Not investigated. Not stopped. That is 365 times three which equals 1,095 felonies each year for 17 years. That is 18, 615 felonies which are not included in the statistics of the Commissioner.

Some of the reduction of crime is due to having MIT, Lesley University and Harvard University patrol cars and shuttle buses patrolling the city. Harvard and Lesley Universities have private security guards (Securitas) also patrolling the area of their campuses. Jane Jacobs pointed out in her landmark book, The Death and Life of Great American Cities,  what makes neighborhoods safe. It is the number of eyes watching the area. People who live, work and pass through the neighborhood contribute to neighborhood safety.

Jane Jacobs

In addition if you look at the snapshot attached to this report, it shows that the average number of violent crimes remains about the same, if you count the past five years. This report is a clever example of spinning the facts to make the Commissioner look good. No doubt he uses the latest computer data analysis available which is used by many police departments. It is standard policing these days.

What remains troubling is that the Cambridge police do not enforce all laws equally. Some laws are enforced for some group members and not for others. It is an issue I raised with the City Council over 15 years. They ignored me. Two statutes which the Cambridge police do not enforce are the Massachusetts Civil Rights statute, MGL Chapter 265, Section 37,

http://www.malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartIV/TitleI/Chapter265/Section37

and MGL Firearms statute, Chapter 140, Section 131J.

http://www.malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXX/Chapter140/Section131j

Both are felonies. The Cambridge police do not enforce discrimination laws equally forcefully for persons with disabilities as they do for persons of color, women, homosexuals, illegal aliens and Muslims.

Police and public officials use intimidation to silence criticism of government, the dominant political paradigms, and politicians. The Cambridge police do not address abuses by Harvard University campus police or by Harvard University officials. Criminal abuses by public officials are immune from prosecution statewide in Democratic Massachusetts, with exceptions when the Boston Herald reports them. Criminal abuses by FBI informants are likewise above the laws, nationwide. The Cambridge police remain negligently trained when it comes to enforcing above-mentioned illegal firearms statute. Here's why.

With regard to rape, the City police have a taxpayer funded specially trained squad to investigate rape. The District Attorney has specially trained investigators to gather evidence of rape. The City Hospital has specially trained medical protocols and personnel to gather evidence of rape. In response to an allegation of rape there are substantial resources for the police to gather evidence of a crime against a individual.

But when it comes to violations of above-mentioned illegal firearms statute the Cambridge police demand that the victims provide evidence. One reason for this negligence is that the Commissioner says that the statute only applies to stun guns. The statute specifically includes weapons that emit "waves and beams." Stun guns emit neither. Stun guns use wires and battery powered electricity transmitted through wires shot from the stun guns or from the gun's connectors. In addition the Cambridge police demand evidence of use of the illegal firearms, when the statute only prohibits possession and sale.

The FBI acts the same way with regard to a US statute which makes it a felony to expose civilians to radiation. Violations include a fine of $2 million per incident.

http://uscode.house.gov/uscode-cgi/fastweb.exe?getdoc+uscview+t17t20+1106+0++%28%29%20%20AND%20%28%2818%29%20ADJ%20USC%29%3ACITE%20AND%20%28USC%20w%2F10%20%282332H%29%29%3ACITE%20%20%20%20AND%20%28PART%20ADJ%20%28I%29%29%3AEXPCITE%20%20%20%20%20

The FBI does not enforce that statute due to negligent training. They are often too busy broadcasting character assassination about vulnerable elder persons in Cambridge and framing others on behalf of the Irish American crime elements in the state to eliminate any competition for the Bulger crime family.

It is not clear if the Commissioner is protecting the use of these high tech firearms in Cambridge by criminals, and by rogue police employees, or if he is clueless about them. I do not believe it is the latter. It is clear that campus police and city police know about these illegal firearms and use them contrary to law.

Finally if there is so little crime in Cambridge perhaps it is an auspicious time to reduce the police department's budget. It may enable the city to stop hiring new police officers and to eliminate or at least to reduce police overtime. That money can be used to help needy persons in the city who do not enjoy such high salaries and benefits as the police and the elected officials. Or it can be used to reduce taxes, a shocking idea in cities run by Democrats. One fact seldom reported in major media is that the Massachusetts Attorney General, and former District Attorney for Middlesex is married to a retired Cambridge Supervising police officer. That gives Cambridge police special access to the highest levels of law enforcement in the state. This report's validity depends on one's perspective. The report is made from the police Commissioner's perspective.

Insurance Scam Exposed

[In a sidebar to the print edition of this article Lesley University and Boston College are included in the list of institutions affected.]

"The unregistered policies allowed Huntington-based Waldorf & Associates to pocket tens of millions of dollars in extra profits over the years while its clients [. . .] were potentially put in harm's way,
[. . .]
And they might still be selling the improper policies if not for a dutiful New York City Department of Law employee who stumbled over a Waldorf IP policy in 2009, and alerted the state Insurance Department to the scandal, The Post probe learned.
STATE regulators found that the Waldorfs did indeed sell IP insurance improperly since 1995, and that millions in required taxes were never paid.

Artists Against Change?

Let's see, the neighbors want the Art Institute in Cambridge but they do not want the building changed. So these artists are conservative artists who support the status quo? Is Lesley University cooperating by admitting only students who are opposed to change? Aren't artists the creators of change and innovation? Don't artists often clash with the establishment? What kind of artists are wanted in Porter Square? If Howard Roark were in Cambridge today what would he do?

Are some cameras less intrusive?

Are some cameras less intrusive?

The report about surveillance cameras is misleading. Many vocal residents support the use of cameras. Some Homeland Security Department cameras are on private buildings, e.g., Harvard and Lesley Universities. (CAITLIN WILSON, “CAMERAS COME DOWN,” Weekly Dig, February 11, 2009) The City Council lacks jurisdiction to prevent their operation. The un-elected Cambridge City Manager runs the City as chief law enforcement officer. He remains silent on the funding of these cameras, their placement and operation. Many surveillance cameras operate in Cambridge, which are used by Harvard University police, Cambridge police and state police. What is the difference?
