Alleged Boston Crime Family Associate Charged With Fraud Over Casino Deal

[From article]
Everybody knew this Everett land deal was about as dirty as the King Arthur’s Lounge that Lightbody was allegedly planning to run hookers out of. Yet these statesmen on the Mass. Gaming Commission couldn’t help themselves. But what did Deval Patrick expect when he handed the chairmanship to Steve Crosby, a corpulent career hack whose brainpower lights up the world like a three-watt bulb?
[. . .]
So skip to Paragraph 40 in the indictment and there it is: “On or about July 10, 2013, (defendant Dustin) DENUNZIO met LIGHTBODY at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 318 Broadway in Everett, where LIGHTBODY signed a Memorandum of Transfer, fraudulently certifying ...”
Dunkin’ Donuts? Hey, Lightbody, not for nuttin’, but what about keepin’ it in da family? What’s-a-matta youse guys, youse are too good to sit at the Honey Dew and suck down a Frozen Mocha Madness or an Oreo Cookie Blast Smoothie while youse are “all in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sect. 371”?
Maybe it’s time to shorten the handle of NELCN. Just call them dopes.

Authorities allege Charles Lightbody, 54, of Revere, Dustin DeNunzio, 37, of Cambridge, and Anthony Gattineri, 56, of Winchester, misled Wynn Resorts and state gambling regulators when they tried to hide Lightbody’s financial stake in FBT Everett, a corporation that stood to profit from the casino land deal.
Lightbody, a convicted felon, is a known New England Family of La Cosa Nostra associate, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office and the state Attorney General’s office.
Prosecutors allege the three men deceived Wynn Resorts and the state Gaming Commission when they falsely claimed Lightbody transferred his ownership stake in FBT to Gattineri for $1.7 million. The three men, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office, created a pair of phony documents connected to the fraudulent transaction.
