CDC guidelines prior to the Dallas nurses getting ill did not forbid exposure of the skin. Nurses revealed that there were huge gaps in the haz mat suits the nurses were wearing while treating Mr. Duncan. CDC has in the last few days revised its protocols to say that no skin should be exposed. But look at the man on the right in the picture. Bellevue Hospital is supposed to be a designated hospital in NYC to deal with Ebola, translation, supposed to know what they are doing. Hopefully, now, the hospital has since updated their protocol, but who knows how many this ‘protocol’ put in danger.
