Two Boston Herald columnists on one day (October 10, 2010) expressed negative bias against persons with disabilities. They suggest candidate Tim Cahill is mentally ill. So what? They appear to accept the paradigm that persons with disabilities should not run for office. In a recent campaign in Cambridge MA, the hot bed of tolerance for deviance, one candidate was ridiculed for alleged mental illness. The Cambridge candidate was mocked for running by one prominent journalist-Harvard instructor, who is allegedly an FBI informant. There was no response from the allegedly tolerant Cambridge liberals. If a similar attack was made on a homosexual candidate, a black candidate, or a woman there would be a chorus from these bigoted liberals. The Herald is supposed to be a conservative Republican paper. Here is one more example of when the liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans agree. They use the government for moving taxpayer funds to their friends and they share the negative opinions of persons with disabilities. [From article]
"Can someone say, “Nuttier than a fruitcake”?
Keep your arms out, Timmy. It’ll make it harder for the guys in the white coats to throw the net over you."

[. . .]
Keep driving them nuts, Tim. I’m loving it."
