Obfuscating Elitism

Leave it to a liberal elitist posing as a conservative in Massachusetts to confuse education with elitism. Do Ivy League education schools make policy at the state and US Departments of Education? Could that be a problem with school performance? Do teachers unions improve education or harm it? Eagan confuses the resentment toward Ivy League elitists who look and talk down to ordinary citizens as if they are stupid, with content of programming at public broadcast stations. Pretending there is no one-sided political bias at these stations especially in Boston shows willful ignorance. Looking to television for education indicates a misguided view of this world.

Harvard Recognizes Denial of Access to Buildings

Great discussion of the laws regarding physical access to a public accommodation, i.e. Harvard University, a major recipient of taxpayer funds. It is only twenty years after the deadline to comply with ADA requirements that Harvard is discussing the issue. It is 38 years after the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 required access to entities that receive US taxpayer funds. The Disability Law Center employs well paid attorneys who seldom file lawsuits for non compliance with laws. They spend much of their time providing social work services and education regarding entitlements. But there is a further issue that applies to Harvard and to the Disability Law Center. When will they both address discrimination toward persons with non physical disabilities e.g., those that are accused of mental illness? These people are denied access to public accommodations and especially access to government services, e.g., protection from crime. The police, the FBI, politicians, courts, and attorneys general ignore them due to unlawful discrimination, which is never addressed by the MCAD and other taxpayer funded human services agencies. Making it more egregious is that FBI informants in allegedly inclusive Cambridge, openly ridicule persons with disabilities who run for office to end these unlawful abuses. Bigotry is tolerated by the FBI and encouraged by journalists.

WGBH Discriminates Contrary To Law

In addition to not paying taxes or a PILOT, WGBH management discriminates against disability rights advocates. Talk show queen Emily Rooney refuses over several years to include persons with disabilities into her on-air programming. The elite public broadcasters boast of allowing persons with disabilities to volunteer at their posh digs. But they refuse to allow them access to the taxpayer funded public airwaves. WGBH favors as guests, corporate providers of goods and services to vulnerable persons. Wealthy victim groups with political clout e.g., the homosexual lobby, the African American lobby and the women's lobby regularly appear. See especially Rooney's Friday media watchers who are never persons with disabilities.

General Praise Applies To Me As Well

John Reinstein is a good man, but the Phoenix editorial wrtitten in generalities applies as well to my efforts fighting for freedom. Why no specific Reinstein examples? Why was/is the ACLU silent about 19 homicides of white civilians by the FBI exposed by Judge Mark Wolf in 1995? Why is/was the ACLU silent about the frame up of four white men for murder? Two died in prison. Two were released after 30 years. FBI informants run wild in Cambridge ridiculing vulnerable citizens and the ACLU is silent. Is their cozy relationship between the ACLU and the FBI and police the reason?

Cameron on Segregation, Tolerance

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, saying multiculturalism has failed in Europe. "We have even tolerated these segregated communities behaving in ways that run counter to our values. So when a white person holds objectionable views -- racism, for example -- we rightly condemn them. But when equally unacceptable views or practices have come from someone who isn't white, we've been too cautious frankly even fearful to stand up to them."
