Is Martha Coakley Who She Says She Is?
[From article]
After all these years as a “prosecutor,” Marsha is baffled by a mystery of her own making. In a one-on-one debate with her Republican opponent Charlie Baker yesterday, Marsha flatly stated that she was not the
attorney general of the commonwealth in 2008.
But somebody named Coakley was.
Which raises the question, if she didn’t cash the checks, who did?
Was this a case of identity theft, which is a federal crime, at least if you’re a U.S. citizen? (If you’re an illegal, well, as we all know, technically it is not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts.)
Could it be that Marsha Coakley is the first undocumented attorney general in the history of Massachusetts?
[. . .]
In other words, Excuse No. 1 was that she wasn’t the attorney general. When that one blew up, she pivoted to Excuse No. 2 —that she was the attorney general, but she couldn’t do anything about it.
Marsha Coakley — to a battle of wits she comes unarmed. But as dim as she is, even Marsha realized that it’s not cool to come down with amnesia in front of TV cameras and a live audience.
So she started babbling about how she first became interested in executive compensation. But the fact that she was talking about an affirmative-action hire left her as tongue-tied as a Kennedy. Being too PC to mention the black man’s name (Cleve Killingsworth) she struggled to describe “the issue with the uh uh, the golden parachute in the Blue Cross, uh uh, chairman’s uh when he left, the compensation in that contract.”
Eleven million bucks, to be exact. It was positively Deval-esque is what it was, Marsha.

In 1969, I returned $5,000 to the Trustees of Columbia University of unspent grant money to study restructuring of the university. It was after the student protests in 1968. One university official told me, "You caused more trouble by returning the money than if you spent it." I learned that many of the student groups were having weekly expensive dinner parties in order to spend their money. I was unable to even think of doing that. But it is how government works. When I was in the Navy I read how military bases would spend money at the end of the fiscal year, so that they could get at least as much money for the next fiscal year.
[From article]
Marsha makes Mr. Frosty Markey look like a brain surgeon. She slammed Baker for “reverting” $2 million unspent dollars during his days as a cabinet secretary. That’s a sin in her world, a mortal sin, not spending every last dime of taxpayer dough.

MA Campaign For Governor
[From article]
Then there’s Marsha. She’s like your maiden aunt who wears sensible shoes and brings the creamed onions to Thanksgiving dinner every year. She’s scrounging for money, but even the loathsome John Tierney, with $700,000 in the bank, refused to give her a dime. You’d think he’d have wanted to make a friend, just in case he one day decides to go the traditional ex-Massachusetts congressman route and apply for a license to open a marijuana dispensary.
Hillary Clinton is flying in from Benghazi to campaign for Marsha. Friday, Coakley brought in Moochelle Obama. That’s desperation, even in the Bay State. Moochelle was reduced to bragging about the economy, believe it or not. But as much of a non-starter as that is, I suppose it was still better than the alternative:
“If you like your Ebola, you can keep your Ebola.”
[.. .]
The election is four weeks from Tuesday. Somebody’s got to win, but why do I have a feeling that we’re all going to lose?

Massachusetts Attorney General, Runs For Governor
Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley, now running to be Governor, is married to a retired Cambridge MA supervising police officer. It may explain why for so many years Cambridge police have been able to conduct a brutal malicious campaign of criminal abuses of police powers. The Cambridge police joined Somerville and Harvard University campus police harassing a now 70-year-old white male who they say is "crazy." Here are some of her comments.
[From Martha Coakley]
“People are still going to try and help people get jobs and do things. There is not anything wrong with that, unless there is something wrong with it. And that’s what this jury has to decide.”
[. . .]
“Not all of the things that happened in that case happen but the kinds of things that happened in that case many of us have seen happen time and time again.”
[. . .]
“Technically, it is not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts.”

Mass AG Wants Court Decision Before Citizen Referendum
[From article]
Assistant Attorney General Peter Sacks, representing Coakley before the SJC yesterday, argued casino companies responding to the 2011 Expanded Gaming Act spent millions applying for licenses and have an “implied contract” with the state to receive a decision from the Gaming Commission. Sacks said the proposed repeal ballot question, backed by 70,000 signatures, would stop the commission cold and not allow for those decisions to be made.
So here is one more example of the government asserting its rights over the rights of the people. One more disconnect between government and taxpayers who fund it, and who it is supposed to serve.

Marsha is complaining about facts? What about the fact that "In Massachusetts technically it is not illegal to be illegal?" That's a fact? And Curt Schilling is a Yankee? One more Coakley fact?

MA Officials Foolish Reactions To State Crime
The MA Attorney General continues to focus on lobbying the US Congress on legislation. Without considering the substance of her lobbying efforts why is she wasting time ignoring crime in the state she has a duty to address? Some of the comments are great shedding light on the problems of prostitution and political incompetenece in MA.

Sanctuary Cities Are Immune From Law
Eric Holder supports the Coakley Doctrine, "In Massachusetts, technically, it is not illegal to be illegal." The Coakley Doctrine extends to Cambridge City government.
[From Article]
"In 1996, Congress prohibited sanctuary cities in no uncertain terms: A "local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual" (8 USC Sec. 1373(a))."
