A team of American and Honduran archaeologists, aided by the bushcraft and survival skills of former British SAS soldiers, has just emerged from one of the most remote locations on Earth with news of their stunning discovery.
The expedition was seeking the site of the legendary "White City", also known as the "City of the Monkey God", a goal for Western explorers since the days of the Spanish conquistadores in the 16th century.
The city, believed to be one of many lost in the Mosquitia jungle, was home to an unknown people that thrived a thousand years ago but then vanished without trace – until now.
Unlike the Maya, so little is known of this pre-Columbian culture that it does not even have a name.
The discovery was revealed by the National Geographic, which sent a writer and photographer to accompany the expedition to the riverside site in a crater-shaped valley, encircled by imposing mountains.

Who is imitating who? In The United States it appears that gangs control the U.S. government, not just schools.

What can be said is that, just as they control most of the neighborhoods of Tegucigalpa, street gangs rule over most public schools in the capital. Gangsters are students and students are gangsters, as are some of their parents. The gangs lay claim to buildings with graffiti, and monitor the movements of police who are trying to monitor them. When the government sends in the military to retake a neighborhood and its schools, the ruling gang may lay low for a time, but they can't stay quiet for long or competitors will move in, setting off a wave of violence.
"The schools are a base of organization for the gangs, and the point through which all children in the neighborhood pass," said Lt. Col. Santos Nolasco, spokesman for the joint military and police force in charge of security in the country of 8.2 million people.
Gangs rely on kids to do much of their illegal grunt work, knowing that even if they get caught, they won't face long jail sentences.

In many schools, the power of the gangs is omnipresent and once a gang takes control of a school, Ruiz said, the teacher has no choice but to get along with the gangsters, or ask to be moved. If a gang grabs a child from a classroom, most teachers know to keep quiet, even if the student is never heard from again.

Only about a third of Honduran school children live with two parents, according to administrators. Many of their parents have headed north to look for work in the United States, while others have been killed or simply left the household. Many students don't have enough to eat, or work for several hours before and after school to help support their families. They are surrounded by violence in a country with the world's highest homicide rate.

The report reveals the apprehension numbers ranging from 2010 through July 2014. It shows that most of the human smuggling from Syria and Albania into the U.S. comes through Central America. The report also indicates the routes individuals from North Africa and the Middle East take into the European Union, either to illegally migrate there or as a possible stop in their journey to the United States. The data are broken down further into the specific U.S. border sectors where the apprehensions and contact occurred.
Among the significant revelations are that individuals from nations currently suffering from the world’s largest Ebola outbreak have been caught attempting to sneak across the porous U.S. border into the interior of the United States. At least 71 individuals from the three nations affected by the current Ebola outbreak have either turned themselves in or been caught attempting to illegally enter the U.S. by U.S. authorities between January 2014 and July 2014.
As of July 20, 2014, 1,443 individuals from China were caught sneaking across the porous U.S. border this year alone,

Philadelphia Sanctuary City Rapist Was Deported, Re-Entered Country

Living and working in sanctuary, Mr. Garcia last month, according to police, approached a 26-year-old Philadelphia doctor who was walking to her home in the city’s fashionable Rittenhouse Square neighborhood after a night out with friends. He is accused of forcing the woman into her apartment and raping her repeatedly.


Milton Mateo Garcia, a South Philly man, was charged with Rittenhouse Square rape.

Police said Mr. Garcia then stole the victim’s cellphone and rode away on his bicycle. In perhaps not the smartest of moves, Mr. Garcia kept the victim’s smartphone in his possession. Police said they found him, in part, by calling the phone and locating its signal.

When he was arrested for the rape, Mr. Garcia was working at Tashan, an Indian restaurant in Philadelphia. The management said in a statement that Mr. Garcia had presented all required documents before he was hired as a part-time employee.
It’s unclear when Mr. Garcia returned to the U.S. after his deportation in June 2013, but apparently he came back quickly. Relatives told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he had been living in the city for about a year when he was arrested for the rape.
Conservative radio host Dom Giordano of Philadelphia wrote in the paper last week that the Obama and Nutter administrations share in the blame for the situation.

If so, it's a page straight out of the Cloward-Piven theory President Obama was so influenced by as a community organizer and at Columbia.

In Honduras Zelaya Complains of Microwave Attacks



"It was just past 2am when the music blasted us from our sleep. Honduran soldiers had placed high-powered speakers just outside the embassy compound for a night-long, deafening serenade."

"One song in particular, Two-legged Rat, was repeated again, and again, and again. The lyrics are not subtle: "Filthy rat/crawling animal/scum of life/ill-made monstrosity/subhuman/mirror image of hell/damned louse/how much damage you've done to me."

"In the first weeks, Zelaya was sleeping in the much larger office of ambassador, but then he thought the room was too vulnerable. He claims he is being subjected to an "electron bombardment with microwaves" which produces 'headache and organic destabilisation.'"

"To try to protect from these alleged attacks, all windows of the office where Zelaya spends much of his time with his closest aides or on the phone were covered with aluminium foil, creating a sort of low-budget sci-fi movie set."

Double Standards in Honduras


The deal [to restore Manuel Zelaya to power], a diplomatic victory for U.S. President Barack Obama, leaves it up to the Honduran Congress to decide whether Zelaya can be restored to serve the last few months of his term -- the question that caused earlier talks to stumble.
A Congress vote is expected in the next few days, after the Supreme Court gives a non-binding opinion on the matter."

The US homosexual lobby uses the courts to thwart democracy preventing a vote by the people on same sex marriage. But in Honduras the Obama hypocrites want their Congress to decide whether the court correctly removed Zelaya. This is second guessing the highest court by an outside imperial power. The double standards pervasive in the Obama administration extends to foreign policy. It is evidence of the extreme abuses of power that Obama is willing to go in order to impose his politics on the US and others.
