Crime Statistics Are Fantasies Serving Interests of Police Leadership




Crime statistics are fungible and can be increased or decreased to suit the desired purpose of more funding or assuring the population that police are doing their job. Here is evidence of Chicago police efforts to deceive the public. But it happens in most cities even though the police leadership denies it.
