30-year-old FL Student Shoots Self In Dorm
All of the detailed plans and his lack of a history of mental illness shows this young man was not mentally ill. Does that support the calls by the drug industry for more psychiatry to end the violence? Maybe he was just pissed off getting evicted from where he was living, as were five of the recent mass killers, including but not limited to the Aurora CO theater shooter. Maybe landlords including this university needs to be scrutinized for their eviction abuses? Rational planning does not make mental illness, or does it?
In this mug shot released by the Florida Highway Patrol shows James Seevakumaran on October 30, 2006. University of Central Florida police have identified Seevakumaran as the student that killed himself in a dorm at UCF in Orlando, Fla. ,early Monday March 18, 2013. Seevakumara was found with several fire arms and a homemade device in a backpack. The incident caused the evacuation of a dorm building. (AP Photo/Florida Highway Patrol)

university spokesman Grant Heston said that before the episode, the school was in the process of removing Seevakumaran from the dormitory because he hadn't enrolled for the current semester. He had never been seen by university counselors and had no disciplinary problems with other students, Heston said.
Detectives found notes and other writings that indicated Seevakumaran had carefully planned an attack and "laid out a timeline of where he was going to be and what he was going to do," [Campus Police Chief Richard] Beary said.
