A family in Lawrenceville said they were attacked by a total stranger just because they were flying an American Flag.
Amina Ahra, 30, was arrested on two counts of simple battery after being accused of attacking a mother and daughter at their home.
Dami Arno told police she was in the garage talking with her daughter when she said Ahra came out of the woods wearing a full Burka, grabbed the flag from off the mailbox and charged at them.
She said she still cannot believe it all happened on American soil.
“A lady walked out of our woods in a full Burka, full attire, stares at us for a minute, then grabs my American flag off of my mailbox and charges towards us with it, just swinging it with all her might,“ the wife and mother said.
"When she came charging , it was kinda like momma bear Instincts kicked in . She had to protect her children," daughter Brittany Arno said.
Arno said when Ahra grabbed the flag; the two women began to fight. That is when Arno's 17-year-old daughter jumped in and her 14-year-old son grabbed the family gun.
Neighbors also ran to help and held Ahra down until Lawrenceville Police arrived.
Mother and daughter said Ahra never uttered a word and seemed possessed.

Word of the gruesome killing, which left a trail of blood in a public restroom at an Abu Dhabi mall, has rattled the Emirates, a Western-allied, seven-state Gulf federation that includes the glitzy commercial hub of Dubai.

Violent crime and terrorist attacks are rare in the oil-rich country, which is home to a large foreign-born population that far outnumbers Emirati citizens.
Interior Minister Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also deputy prime minister, said the attacker targeted her victims based on their nationality alone in an attempt to create chaos and terrorize the country. He called the stabbing a crime that is “alien to our secure country.”
“The victim of this brutal crime was a schoolteacher who was committed to building strong future generations,” he told reporters.

After carrying out the murder at the Boutik Mall on the capital’s upscale Reem Island, the attacker left a makeshift bomb at the house of a 46-year-old Egyptian-American doctor in the prominent waterfront Corniche area.

Police say the teacher was stabbed to death by a butcher’s knife-wielding attacker wearing the full black veil commonly worn by women throughout the Gulf Arab region. Emirati authorities identified her by the initials I.R. and said she was 47 years old.

Police earlier said the victim had 11-year-old twins and that they were being kept in protective custody until their father, who is the victim’s ex-husband, arrived in the country.

The man police say is behind the robberies has worn a black burqa — a full-body covering worn by some Muslim women — during the heists

Police have a similar problem — striking a delicate balance between nabbing the crook while not profiling Muslims who wear burqas in banks.
