Wrongful Arrest Ruined Family, Made Into Hitchcock Film

Balestrero was wrongly accused of crimes committed by lookalike Charles James Daniell (pictured).
Is that sort of what happened to me many times? Not by accident but by character assassination from crime families and agents of the United States government? Still going on. Never formally arrested. Just accused and punished for 45 years or events alleged from 1970-75. But several crime families, FBI and police employees, who protect them, continue to torment me, disturbing my sleep every one or two hours, keeping me isolated and shunned by ordinary people. This man's life was destroyed by an honest, if not negligent error.

Manny Balestrero discussed the devastating impact of his wrongful arrest in the 1953 Life magazine article. “Be careful of accusing anyone,’’ he said. “Before you accuse anyone, you should think, because you can destroy a family, physically and mentally, like mine could have been destroyed.’’
