Ex-Friend Of Al Sharpton Sentenced to Two Years For Racketeering
[From article]
A Genovese mob captain who was once buddies with the Rev. Al Sharpton was sentenced Friday to more than two years in prison on a racketeering rap after pleading guilty in March to running an illegal gambling business.

Pagano has been linked to an unsuccessful mob attempt in the 1980s to recruit Sharpton to distribute illegal drugs.
The Post reported last year that Sharpton was also once a mole with the FBI’s Mafia unit when it was investigating Pagano’s father.
Sharpton has denied being a snitch and any wrongdoing.
Judge Abrams also sentenced Pagano to three years of supervised release and ordered him to pay a $5,000 fine and a $2,000 forfeiture.
