Teen Girl Found Unconscious on Everett, MA Street

[From article]
The unidentified victim was found unresponsive at 6:45 a.m. Saturday in a driveway on Appleton Street. A spokeswoman for Middlesex District
Attorney Marian T. Ryan said the investigation is
ongoing and no arrests have been made.
“Unfortunately, this may have been an assault on someone who had been drinking with a group of people at a nearby home and who may have been
attacked after leaving that party. Investigators are speaking with individuals who were with the victim in an effort to form a complete picture of what led up to the victim being outside and on the ground when she was discovered,” Ryan said in a statement.
Ryan’s spokeswoman Jacquelyn Goddard said the victim was in extremely critical condition at Massachusetts General Hospital last night.
A 40-year-old woman living on Appleton Street yesterday said she recalled seeing a group of about a dozen high-school-age kids walking down the street about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The teens were being loud. The woman who declined to give her name later said she heard a scream.
“It was a weird scream — it was like a crying scream,” the woman said.
