A man riding his bicycle through a residential Brooklyn neighborhood was fatally gunned down Sunday afternoon — one of two nearly back-to-back, broad-daylight shootings in the borough.
The 31-year-old victim was pedaling near the corner of leafy Union Street and Utica Avenue in Crown Heights just after noon when a gunman approached and pumped a single bullet into his head in what a police source called “a well-planned execution,” cops and other sources said.
The shooter then jumped into a gray Chevy Suburban and sped off, according to police and witnesses. Police are unsure if the gunman had an accomplice.
