Does FDA Approval Mean a Drug is Safe?
"(As soon as a treatment is shown through established scientific methods to be safe and effective, it's no longer 'alternative.')"
Just because a drug treatment is approved by the FDA does not mean that the treatment is safe. Consider the harms done by Thalidomide, anti-depressants and many psychiatric drugs. Does the FDA deny benefits from positive thinking? Is that approved by the FDA?
