Political Correctness Vs. Free Speech
"The main problem with political correctness is that the concept itself is both irrational and diametrically opposed to the Western notion of free speech." Some believe that PC derives from the efforts to create the therapeutic state in this country. Others believe that the PC movement began in the Frankfort School and moved to New York when the Nazis took power in Germany. The KGB under Oleg Kalugin encouraged this in order to divide Americans. The tyranny of political correctness
Ironically, political correctness is only able to make certain people comfortable by instilling a culture of fear in everyone else, since no one wants to risk being labeled a bigot.
