John Adams wrote about James Otis’ fiery argument in court against the Writs of Assistance in 1761: “[T]he child independence was then and there born.” A 1783 eulogy poem written by Thomas Dawes described Otis as “first in patriot fame.”
The Writs of Assistance, a method of search and seizure known as “general warrants,” were authorized by Parliament. Otis nevertheless called these institutionalized violations of liberty “illegal.”

Today, the principles of law and liberty argued by Otis are being ignored by America’s soft police state, which uses mass surveillance to violate our property rights and privacy, and other more targeted administrative search and seizure tools to suppress rights of commerce and conscience.
A recent Supreme Court decision shows the judicial disarray on regulation of commerce and principles of the Fourth Amendment at the heart of the famous argument by Otis.

British Clueless When They Attacked Massachusetts Colonists

Early on the morning of April 19th, about 70 men of Lexington faced the oncoming march of 1200 to 1500 British troops. The small band was determined not to fire first, but to provide what resistance they could.
The British captain yelled, “ye villains, ye rebels, disperse; damn you, disperse!” A shot was fired in the air. A command was given to the British troops “fire! By God, fire!” A cloud of smoke. Eight men were killed, ten wounded. Observers said it was a divine miracle that not more were killed or wounded.

The British did not know the hornets nest they had kicked.
The British began a hasty and fearful retreat back to Boston as the patriots pursued them with a fury.
By the end of the day the colonial loss totaled 49 killed, 34 wounded and 5 missing. The enemy’s losses in killed, wounded, and missing was about 300.

Anti Police Protests Indicate Attempted Communist Revolution

The intent of Obama’s Fundamental Transformation of America and those of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA are one and the same.  Both foment for the kind of revolution that will take down America and toss it into the dust bin of history.

President Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Bill de Blasio, and the Rev. Al Sharpton are fueling the flames of racism in America just as the Ku Klux Klan did 100 years ago. Sounds inflammatory? It is. What’s worse, it’s true.
The reason? They are considered the establishment. They are out in broad daylight perpetrating a racist agenda and, instead of wearing a white sheet to protect their identity, they are shrouded in the cloak of government.
They are adept and skillful at delivering a populist message of redistribution of wealth or how minorities are targeted by the police. Listen my friends, the biggest day of lynchings in America happened to Italians in New Orleans in 1891 in response to nine Italians being found not guilty in the murder of a police chief. A mob dragged those nine Italians and two others from the jail they were being held in and lynched them all.

John Parker, who helped organize the lynch mob and later went on to become governor of Louisiana, said of Italians that they were ” just a little worse than the Negro, being if anything filthier in their habits, lawless and treacherous.”
Add to that Italians are Catholics, another thing that added to the hostility toward them. Yes, Catholics were feared and treated very poorly for years. Also, for years the existence of the Mafia had Italians mistreated and held in suspicion by law enforcement. Actually it still goes on today. But Italians understood that where there is smoke there is fire, and things were happening in their community.

There has been a dangerous pandering to the black communities by certain progressives. They foster deliberate victimization so that a dangerous political agenda can be furthered. Instead of seeing through this, we have the silent deadly complacency of the media and Hollywood.

instead of asking that the communities respect and work together with law enforcement… we see the resurgence of what Bill Ayers and the various terrorist organizations had wanted to do in tearing down our social structure and leaving in its place chaos and the seeds for a Marxist revolution during the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The attack on America is happening from within, and the GOP is just as guilty by their ineffectual behavior.

Tycoons who owe their fortunes to Mubarak's corrupt regime bring food and drink for "the suffering heroes of our revolution."
