Ft. Hood Masacre

"Inasmuch as Maj. Hasan had never been deployed overseas, much less seen combat, liberals seem to have discovered the first recorded case of "pre-traumatic stress syndrome."
[. . .]
According to numerous eyewitness accounts, Hasan denounced the "war on terror" as a war against Islam, said Muslims should attack Americans in retaliation for the war in Iraq, defended suicide bombers and said he was "happy" when a Muslim murdered a soldier at a military recruiting center in Arkansas earlier this year.
[. . .]
A few years ago, Hasan delivered an hour-long PowerPoint lecture to an audience of doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, arguing that non-Muslims should be beheaded and have burning oil poured down their throats.
[. . .]
Far less offensive speech has been grounds for discipline or even removal from duties in the military. In the aftermath of the Tailhook scandal, for example, two Navy officers were reprimanded and reassigned after putting up a sign with the words of a nursery rhyme altered to include a vulgar sexual reference to liberal congresswoman Patricia Schroeder."

PC Army Loses Propaganda War

"Our politically correct Army [. . .] won't utter the word "terrorism." [. . .] leaving you unsure whether there was a traffic accident down at Fort Hood, or maybe an outbreak of swine flu."

"A dirty big secret in our Army has been that officers' promotion boards have quotas for minorities. We don't call them quotas, of course. But if a board doesn't hit the floor numbers, its results are held up until the list has been corrected. It's almost impossible for the Army's politically correct promotion system to pass over a Muslim physician."

Remember, we live in a country that can barely acknowledge Christmas for fear of offending someone.
This is a very sick country.

Political correctness needs to die a sudden and permanent death. The way we are headed, each soldier can have a jihadist take cover in his foxhole.

When the Muslim communities stand up and point out that they don't support the mosques that are teaching jihad, then I will have more faith in what they are saying.
There was a reason for interning the Japanese when we were at war with their country, and it served a duel purpose: to keep them safe if innocent and out of our way if they were not. I apologize to no one for that.
Thank you for an honest assessment of the attack.

Courage, People Skills and the Equalizer

Did she get her courage and learn skepticism about a**h*** psychiatrists from waiting tables? People skills are superior to book learning. Some would have asked for pills to calm everyone. Where are those grief counselors when you need them? The equalizer came in handy this time.

Psychiatry, Not Religion Causes Violence

Talil Eid said of the deranged Army psychiatrist, "his actions have nothing to do with our religion.” Psychiatrists have the highest suicide rate among professionals. They delight in tormenting vulnerable persons making them give up emotions and thought. Their demand for control of others was upset when this enraged man was ordered to Iraq. It was not religion but psychiatry that caused this violence.
