The location is in unincorporated St. Louis County, less than a mile from the QuikTrip in Ferguson that was looted and burned Sunday night.

Police got a call reporting about four to five men in the area armed with shotguns and wearing ski masks. They also got reports of shots fired in the area. Police officers arrived and saw "multiple subjects running," Schellman said.
"When they arrived, upwards of 30 people started scattering," Schellman said.
Schellman said the officers hadn't seen anyone with shotguns, as reported earlier by the 911 caller.
An officer approached one of the men, who pulled a handgun on the officer, Schellman said. The officer then fired, Schellman said. The man was shot multiple times, Schellman said.
The man's name has not been released.
Police said they recovered the handgun at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital.
